In this week’s address, the President highlighted the important differences between the budget he’s put forward – built on opportunity for all – and the budget House Republicans are advocating for, which stacks the deck against the middle class.

Once Again, Obama Slams Romney on Russia

Mitt Romney seems to have all the answers, except how to win an election or how to accept the reality that he lost and bow out gracefully.

The two-time loser jumped at the opportunity to attack President Obama on his handling of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He actually called the president naive.

Said Romney on a Sunday talk show;

“There’s no question but that the president’s naivete with regards to Russia, and his faulty judgment about Russia’s intentions and objectives, has led to a number of foreign policy challenges that we face.

“And unfortunately, not having anticipated Russia’s intentions, the president wasn’t able to shape the kinds of events that may have been able to prevent the kinds of circumstances that you’re seeing in the Ukraine, as well as the things that you’re seeing in Syria.”

Back in 2012 while he was running his failed campaign for president, Romney called Russia “our number one geopolitical foe.” For that statement, Romney took some well deserved criticisms from the president and he appeared weak on foreign policy like someone with no knowledge of what they speak, almost reminiscent of Sarah Palin.

This was Romney’s chance vindicate himself, to tell everyone that he was correct in calling Russia our number one foe. But again, he got slammed by the President.

“With respect to Romney’s assertion that Russia is our number one geopolitical foe, the truth of the matter is that America has a whole lot of challenges. Russia’s actions are a problem. They don’t pose the number one national security threat to the United States. I continue to be much more concerned when it comes to our security with the prospect of a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan.”

Time to have a seat Romney, this match was over almost two years ago.

New Right Winged Conspiracy – Obama “Murdered” Everyone on Malaysian Flight MH370 – Audio

Erik Rush

This is Erik Rush, a frequent nut on Fox News and a regular nut+ on WorldNetDaily. It is Erik’s theory, based on the noises in his head affectionately called his “sources,” that President Obama has first hand knowledge of what happened to the people of flight MH370 that disappeared earlier in March, because the President had the crew and passengers “murdered.”

Erik Rush claims that the Obama administration took control of the flight and landed it on Diego Garcia. There, technicians on the flight were interrogate because they wanted to “abscond to China.” Rush goes on to say that after the interrogation was completed, the United States government had everyone on the plane “murdered.”

And you thought you heard it all.

Calm Down – The President Is Keeping His BlackBerry

(AP) — President Barack Obama isn’t giving up his BlackBerry — at least not for now.

The White House is shooting down the notion that Obama’s device is caught up in a pilot program designed to transition away from BlackBerry smartphones.

The pilot program is being carried out by the White House Communications Agency. It’s part of the Defense Department and is responsible for making sure Obama has communications capabilities wherever he goes.

But White House spokesman Jay Carney says the Executive Office of the President isn’t participating in any pilot programs affecting their hand-held devices.

U.S. government agencies have been one of the last bastions for BlackBerry Ltd. The company pioneered the smartphone in 1999 but has since been hammered by competition from the iPhone and Android-based rivals.

President Obama to Democrats – “In midterms, we get clobbered”

President Obama told Democrats that turnout is their best hope for this year’s congressional elections — and warned of dire consequences if the party doesn’t turn out the vote this November.

“In midterms, we get clobbered,” Obama said Thursday at a fundraiser in Miami for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Obama was probably thinking of the midterms in 2010, when Republicans won control of the U.S. House and snapped what had been a string of legislative successes for the president.
It’s doubtful that Democrats can win back the House in this year’s elections.

The battle for Obama’s party is to keep its majority in the U.S. Senate, which could be at risk if the Republicans have a big year.

New Poll – The President’s Approval Numbers are Rebounding

A new Bloomberg poll finds that President Barack Obama is rebounding from record-low approval ratings as he remedies the botched rollout of his health-care website and moves past the budget standoffs of the last several years.

Less than eight months before the November midterm elections, Americans are evenly split, with 48 percent approving of Obama’s job performance, up from 42 percent in December — the biggest positive change of his presidency, according to a Bloomberg National Poll. He’s also registering an improved favorability rating at 49 percent, the highest since last June.

Even so, majorities still disapprove of Obama’s performance across a broad spectrum of issues. They include the economy, a top issue for voters this year, which may threaten his party’s chances for retaining control of the U.S. Senate. Republicans need a net gain of six seats in November’s elections to retake control of the chamber.

“The six-point increase in Obama’s approval rating puts him back in the territory he typically occupies,” said Ann Selzer, founder of Des Moines, Iowa-based Selzer & Co., which conducted the March 7-10 poll of 1,001 U.S. adults that has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. “He had a post-election bump in December of 2012 and February 2013 and then a steady decline.”

An Interview Like No Other – President Obama and Comedian Zach Galifianakis – Video

President Obama made a special appearance at Funny or Die’s studios and was interviewed by non other than comedian Zach Galifianakis. You just know this was not going to turn out well or, maybe it did.

The no holds bar interview touched on all the hot topics of the day; where’s the birth certificate, being born in Kenya, why Michele Obama married a nerd, etc. Just all the normal things the American public is interested in.

Questions like, “Is it going to be hard in two years, when you’re no longer President and people will stop letting you win at basketball?” And, “so how does this work, do you send Ambassador Rodman to North Korea on your behalf? I read somewhere that you’d be sending Hulk Hogan to Syria or is that more of a job for Tonya Harding?”

But there was a point to all this. Coming up on the March deadline for enrolling in the Affordable Care Act, the president brought the attention back to healthcare.

“That’s the thing that doesn’t work?” Zach asked.

All in all, a very funny piece from Funny or Die, and definitely a must see.

Hypocritical Republicans Blame Obama for Putin’s Invasion, But Praised Bush for Putin’s Invasion

It’s amazing how quickly Republicans pranced on President Obama to cast blame on him for Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine. From Lindsey Graham, to John McCain to Rudolph Guiliana, they are all having a field day, criticizing Mr. Obama as a weak, spineless, Muslim infidel who is the reason why the world is apparently walking all over this nation. But Rachel Maddow asked a question on her show last night. Where were all these Republicans when Putin did his last invasion?

Bush was in power, remember?

In 2008, Putin invaded Georgia and a war began. The man in the White House at that time was George W. Bush and the noise machine we’re hearing now fom the right was apparently broken, as the present warmongers were mysteriously silent and even supportive of Bush just 7 years ago.

Can you say Republican hypocrisy?

Teaparty Nuts Create Cartoon Showing President Obama Being Assassinated – Video

There are some sick people out there, and some of them think it’s funny to create a cartoon showing the president of the United States being assassinated. Or maybe they’re not trying to be funny at all. Maybe, just maybe they’re serious, and they’re hoping that their cartoon depiction becomes real.

And that’s why the Secret Service is investigating.

The creators of the YouTube series Conrad the Constitution complained to Infowars that their graphic depiction of President Obama being cowardly Second Amendmented in the back of the head ‘Abraham Lincoln style’ in a theater has earned them and their families visits from the Secret Service.

“I just wanted to let you guys know the Secret Service has been in contact with my family and is coming to interview me sometime soon about our latest episode. If I end up disappearing you’ll know why,” the ridiculous and paranoid e-mail read.

In the video, Conrad the Teabagging Constitution, Conrad steals Ron Paul’s time machine from his bunker and embarks on a mission to kill President Obama, who has shredded his future self. At the instruction of Ron Paul and his shredded self, Conrad travels back in time, sneaks up on the President, and shoots him in the back of the head.

These sickos relish in getting their content seen. Bad press is good press for these right winged hacks. You don’t have to view their content, but I included the video below.
