Man Kills Stepfather by Giving Him a Wedgie

OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) – A 33-year-old Oklahoma man has been charged with killing his stepfather by giving him an “atomic wedgie,” that caused the victim to suffocate on his own underwear.

Brad Lee Davis was charged with murder in the death of 58-year-old Denver St. Clair in a drunken family fight at a residence just east of Oklahoma City, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office said in an arrest affidavit obtained on Wednesday.

Police arrested Davis on Tuesday. The affidavit said he “grabbed St. Clair’s underwear and gave him an ‘atomic wedgie.’ Davis allegedly pulled the elastic waistband of St. Clair’s underwear over his head and around his neck.”

Oklahoma Medical Examiner spokeswoman Amy Elliott said the cause of death was asphyxiation and blunt force trauma.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff Deputy Travis Palmer said Davis and St. Clair were drinking beer on the night of December 21 at the older man’s residence when St. Clair began speaking ill about his wife, who is Davis’ mother.

Investigators said St. Clair’s elastic waistband was stretched over his head and that it left ligature marks around his neck. Blood splatter was also found in the kitchen, the living room and on the living room ceiling.

Davis was being held in Pottawatomie County without bond. His lawyer was not immediately available for comment.

Woman Shot and Killed by Undercover Cops In Brooklyn New York

The woman shot dead by a Brooklyn cop after she crashed a stolen car was part of a violent crew who police say forced a man into his home at gunpoint, robbed him and shot him as he ran away.

Shantel Davis, 23, took a bullet in the chest during a wild struggle with police after she tried to drive away from the smashup on Church Ave. and E. 38th St. in East Flatbush on Thursday, cops said.

No gun was found on Davis. Her rap sheet — which included robbery and drug busts — shows she was no stranger to run-ins with the law.

Davis was due in court Friday on charges stemming from an attack on April 23, 2011 — when she and a band of brutes allegedly held a man hostage as they robbed his Clarendon Road apartment, court papers show.

The heist netted cash, video games and jewelry, the documents show. But the thieves threatened to take 29-year-old Ralph Ragoobar to East New York and torture him for more loot. He managed to break free and started running down the street, court papers show.

That’s when Davis’ crew opened fire, striking the fleeing man three times in the back and once in the leg. He survived the wounds.

“I was shot five times,” Ragoobar told the Daily News. “I just want to move on with my life.”
Davis and two others were later booked on charges that included kidnapping, attempted murder and weapons possession.

Davis was out on $25,000 bail when two narcotics cops saw her blow a red light at E. 48th St. and start speeding westbound down Church Ave. about 5:35 p.m. Thursday, cops said.

The two plainclothes officers — who sources identified as Detective Phillip Atkins, 44, and Police Officer Daniel Guida, 27 — began to follow Davis in their unmarked car as she sped through a series of red lights before she crashed, cops said.

Davis was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry that she allegedly stole the week before. Armed with a pistol — and just a block away from her E. 52nd St. home — Davis approached the car’s owner, Vilma Craig, 57, and told her to hand over the keys, sources said.

“She had the gun pointed at me,” Craig told the Daily News Friday. “She took my car, my pocketbook and everything in the car.”

It was not clear whether the two cops knew the car was stolen when they approached Davis after she wrecked it.

The 5-foot-6, 185-pound Davis slid into the passenger side of the car in an attempt to flee, cops said.
After a brief struggle with Guida, Davis hopped back in the driver’s seat and tried to drive away.

Atkins, holding his service-issued Smith & Wesson 9-mm., began to grapple with the frantic woman and tried to stop her from putting the car into gear.

But Davis managed to put the car in reverse and hit the gas. During the struggle, Atkins fired one shot, hitting Davis in the chest and killing her.

Injured Black Man Ran To Police For Help – Police Shot Him 10 Times

Jonathan Ferrell

Jonathan A. Ferrell was a 24-year-old former football player for Florida A&M University who worked two jobs and moved to North Carolina to be with his fiancée.

On Saturday, the car Ferrell was driving crashed into trees off a northeast Charlotte road. The wreck was so severe that Ferrell would have had to climb out of the back window to escape, the Associated Press reported.

An obviously shaken Ferrell walked about a half-mile to the nearest house and was “banging on the door viciously” to attract attention, police say.

The woman who lived there opened the door, and when she saw Ferrell, shut it and called police at about 2:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, Ferrell ran toward police, who attempted to stop him with a Taser. He continued to approach them when officer Randall Kerrick fired his gun, hitting Ferrell 10 times and killing him.

“I truly forgive him. I pray for him. And I pray that he gets off the police force,” said Georgia Ferrell, the victim’s mother. “You took a piece of my heart that I can never get back.”

Police determined the shooting was excessive and charged Kerrick with voluntary manslaughter. A police statement Saturday said the investigation showed “Kerrick did not have a lawful right to discharge his weapon during this encounter.”

Teens Killed Australian Man For The Fun Of It

Police say three bored teens killed an Australian man attending school in the U.S. for “the fun of it.”

Authorities prepared to charge the teens Tuesday with first-degree murder, while family and friends on two continents mourned 22-year-old Christopher Lane.

Lane was visiting the town where his girlfriend and her family live. He passed a home where the boys were staying, and that apparently led to him being gunned down at random, Police Chief Danny Ford said.

A 17-year-old in the group has given a detailed confession to police.

“They saw Christopher go by, and one of them said: ‘There’s our target,“’ Ford said. “The boy who has talked to us said, ‘We were bored and didn’t have anything to do, so we decided to kill somebody.“’

Suspects

He said they followed Lane, a student from Melbourne attending college on a baseball scholarship, in a car and shot him in the back before driving off.

Autopsy results on Lane were pending.

Ford told the television station KOCO in Oklahoma City that one of the teens said they shot Lane for “the fun of it.”

Police said witnesses rushed to help Lane after hearing a shot Friday and seeing him stagger and collapse.

“He was face down on the ground, and he was shot in the back with a .22 revolver,” Richard Rhodes told Australian broadcasters. “I had another lady stop, and we tried CPR on him. And he passed away right here.”

Byran Fischer Claims Obama Was Not in Situation Room when Bin Laden was Killed

Now I can officially say that I’ve heard of it all. I have thought this was the case for a long time, but now, this story proves to me that Republicans would say and do anything to get free press.

Republican and Conservative talk show host Byran Fischer is floating around a theory that president Obama was not even in the Situation Room the night Osama bin Laden was captured and killed.

Fischer states, with much conviction I might add, that the photo showing the President, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Obama’s Security advisors in the Situation Room the night Bin Laden died, was achieved through Photoshope.

Fischers theory goes something like this: the president looks down on everyone, so they had to find a photo of him looking up. They had one, and they managed to insert that photo of Obama looking up into the famous Situation Room photo. Fischer explains:

“President Obama never looks up at anything; he looks down on everybody at all times in all circumstances. He’s got his nose up in the air looking down on you, looking down on me, looking down on the press, looking down on the American people.”

Fischer also explains that Hillary Clinton would be unfit to be president because she was “horrified” at what she was looking at.

“She’s horrified, she frightened. Is that the woman you want to get the 3am phone call? You want her to get the 3 am phone call? Seriously! She’s sitting there at the table with her hand over her mouth, in shock.  Now the guys around the table, they’re sober, they’re focused, they’re intent, but they are not freaked out.  Hillary Clinton is freaked out by what she is seeing on the screen. Do we want her taking the 3 am phone call? I don’t think so”:

See the unbelievable nonsense unfold below.

Hostages Shot and Killed in Louisiana Bank Heist

ST. JOSEPH, La. (AP) — A man who took hostages at a bank in rural Louisiana shot the two remaining hostages, killing one of them, before being shot and killed by police, authorities said.

During negotiations with law enforcement late Tuesday, the suspect — identified as 20-year-old Fuaed Abdo Ahmed — said he was going to kill the hostages, Louisiana State Police superintendent Col. Mike Edmonson said. State police then entered the building just before midnight Tuesday.

That’s when Ahmed shot the two hostages and then state police shot and killed him, Edmonson said. Edmonson said the hostages were shot in the upper body. He did not have any other information on the condition of the second hostage who was shot.

Homeless Prostitutes Killed john, Stole His Car for Shelter

Ashlee Gurule – allegedly used Pillow to suffocate and stabbed victim

Two young, homeless hookers from New Mexico stabbed a man to death so they could use his car as shelter, police said.

Jennifer McKee, 18, and Ashlee Gurule, 20, allegedly tortured, stabbed and then suffocated Maurice Gonzales, 51, at his Albuquerque home on Friday morning.

They told cops they were “tired of being homeless” and decided they needed a car.

Dumping his lifeless body in the trunk, they then stole his silver Dodge Avenger and drove around looking for somewhere to dispose of his corpse.

Jennifer McKee – Allegedly held victim’s legs while Ashlee killed him.

But the pair — who cops believe were selling sex to the victim — were busted after a high-speed 100mph chase ended in them crashing the vehicle.

Both have been charged with murder.

A criminal complaint, obtained by KRQE , claims Gurule stabbed Gonzales in the neck and chest as McKee held down his legs.

He allegedly begged for his life, offering to give them anything from his apartment if they spared him. But Gurule reportedly then used a pillow to suffocate him.

A third suspect, 16-year-old Julia Martinez, was also in the car during the chase. She now faces a conspiracy charge.

Two Year Old Girl Shot And Killed By Her Five Year Old Brother

After what happened in Sandy Hook, and especially after Congressional Republicans stood their grounds against any form of gun control, you can’t help but think that there will be many more stories like this. And with that knowledge, you’d think Republicans would want to cut down on these kind of news. But you’d be wrong to think that.

A Kentucky toddler was accidentally shot dead by her own brother as he played with a gun he’d been given as a gift, police said.

Caroline Starks, 2, was killed after her 5-year-old sibling fired the .22-caliber rifle at their Burkesville home at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

She was rushed to Cumberland County Hospital but pronounced dead.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports the weapon — a Crickett branded by makers Keystone Sporting Arms as “My First Rifle” — was given to the boy last year.

Florida Man Swallowed In Sinkhole While Sleeping In His Bed

A Florida man was missing and feared dead on Friday after a large sinkhole suddenly swallowed the bedroom of his suburban Tampa home, police and fire officials said.

Jeff Bush, 36, was in his room sleeping and the other five members of the household were getting ready for bed on Thursday night when they heard a loud crash and Jeff screaming.

Jeff’s brother, 35-year-old Jeremy Bush, jumped into the hole and furiously kept digging to find his brother.

“I feel in my heart he didn’t make it,” Jeremy told Tampa TV station WFTS. “There were six of us in the house; five got out.”

Jeremy himself had to be rescued from the sinkhole by the first responder to the emergency call, Douglas Duvall of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. When Duvall entered Jeff Bush’s bedroom, all he saw was a widening chasm but no sign of Jeff.

“The hole took the entire bedroom,” said Duvall. “You could see the bedframe, the dresser, everything was sinking,” he said.

Norman Wicker, 48, the father of Jeremy’s fiancée who also lived in the house, ran to get a flashlight and shovel.

“It sounded like a car ran into the back of the house,” Wicker said.

Authorities had not detected any signs of life after lowering listening devices and cameras into the hole and rescue efforts were suspended after the site was deemed too unsafe for emergency personnel to enter.

Grapevine Fugitive Shot And Killed In Texas

The manhunt for escaped convict Alberto Morales ended early Saturday in a hail of gunfire as the fugitive was cornered by police and shot and killed in a small town in Texas.

Authorities said Morales, who had somehow slipped out of his handcuffs since escaping police Monday, lunged at the officers with wooden sticks, according to Texas authorities.

Morales, 41, had been on the run since overpowering a Miami-Dade police detective, stabbing him with his eyeglasses and disappearing from a Walmart in a Dallas suburb. Two Miami-Dade detectives had been escorting Morales, a violent sex offender, to a Las Vegas prison at the time of his escape to finish serving a 30-years-to-life prison term.

“Obviously, we are very relieved,’’ Miami-Dade Deputy Mayor Genaro “Chip” Iglesias said Saturday. “We are relieved that he will not be able to hurt anybody else.’’

The detective, Jaime Pardinas, survived but suffered a collapsed lung. He is recovering at a Dallas-area hospital.

Man Who Killed Two Firefighters On Christmas Eve – Killing People “Is What I Do Best”

William Spengler Jr. — the man in upstate New York who ambushed four firefighters on Christmas Eve, killing two — left a three-page suicide note including this line, made public by police:

“I still have to see how much of the neighborhood I can burn down and do what I like doing best: killing people.”

Spengler, unfortunately, had experience killing people: earlier in his life, he had spent 17 years in jail for beating his grandmother to death. Police said that the note, which was described as “rambling,” didn’t reveal an explicit motive aside from a desire to “burn his neighborhood down” and murder as many people as possible.

Police also revealed that Spengler had a Bushmaster AR-15 in his possession (along with a revolver and shotgun ), which, of course, was the same gun used by Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza. There has not yet been any word from Bushmaster regarding the status of Spengler’s man card.

On a related note, as an ex-con, Spengler could not legally posses any guns, so police plan on tracing those guns back to their source. I’m sure the results of how a convicted murderer got his hands on a rifle that he then used to kill two volunteer firefighters will lead to significant strengthening of gun la— alright, I can’t even finish that sentence with a straight face.
