OMG! Chuck Todd Thinks Benghazi Is All Partisan…”A Political Stunt!” OMG!

Chuck Todd works at MSNBC, but don’t let that fool you. He has developed a reputation of letting Republican talking points go unchallenged, and… wait… come to think of it, many of the MSNBC hosts these days allow Republicans to spew their talking points unchallenged. These hosts are concerned that if they challenge these Republicans with facts, the Republicans will avoid the network. So the kiss-ass is abundant!

Bring back the days of Keith Olbermann!

Anyways, like I was saying. Chuck Todd has developed a reputation as a soft reporter, so hearing him denounce the recent Republican fund-raising edition of Benghazi caused me to take another look. I had to make sure Todd was okay. Maybe he fell and hit his head on the White House lawn when no one was looking, who knows?

In a recent episode of Morning Joe, Todd said, “the way they rolled this out it seems very political, very ham-handed. . .  Right now it seems like nothing more than a partisan stunt.”

Enjoy some Chuck Todd like you’ve never seen before, cause you may not see or hear this Chuck Todd again!

So Now Mitt Romney Wants The 47% Moochers To Get a Raise

Photo:.(AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin)

Sidenote: It is becoming more and more apparent that Mitt Romney is attempting another run for the presidency in 2016. For those keeping count, 2016 would be his third run.

Remember the 47%? They are the ones who sank Romney battleship in the 2012 presidential election. Realizing his mistake, Romney is now trying to change his tone just in case 2016 is a go.

“I, for instance, as you know, part company with many of the conservatives in my party on the issue of the minimum wage. I think we ought to raise it,” he said. “Because frankly, our party is all about more jobs and better pay.”

The 47 percent were called moochers by Mitt Romney. According to the man who was the Republican’s choice for president in 2012, these 47% or moochers are those “who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it.”

Mitt Romney is also the man who bought businesses, fired the employees of those business, burden those businesses with debt and then liquidate those businesses, walking away with huge profits. It’s called being a venture capitalist and Mitt Romney the god of the vultures!

Sounds kind of crazy and disingenuious listening to him now talk about giving members of 47% a raise!

Weekly Address – First Lady Addresses Mothers and The Kidnapped Nigerian Girls

On this Mother’s Day weekend, First Lady Michelle Obama took the time to wish the mothers of the nation a Happy Mothers Day, and she spent some time talking about the unbelievable events unfolding in Nigeria, where over 200 young girls were kidnapped.

Hello everyone, I’m Michelle Obama, and on this Mother’s Day weekend, I want to take a moment to honor all the mothers out there and wish you a Happy Mother’s Day.

I also want to speak to you about an issue of great significance to me as a First Lady, and more importantly, as the mother of two young daughters.

Like millions of people across the globe, my husband and I are outraged and heartbroken over the kidnapping of more than 200 Nigerian girls from their school dormitory in the middle of the night.

This unconscionable act was committed by a terrorist group determined to keep these girls from getting an education – grown men attempting to snuff out the aspirations of young girls.

Pope Francis calls for The Redistribution of Wealth

Well he’s already hated on the right, and has been called all sorts of names like Marxist to socialist by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, and the rest of the cast over at Fox News.

But that is not stopping Pope Francis from continuing to preach about poverty. And in a message today, the Pope’s message was one of redistribution of wealth from the rich and greedy to the poor and needy.

Francis made the appeal during a speech to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the heads of major U.N. agencies who are meeting in Rome this week.

Latin America’s first pope has frequently lashed out at the injustices of capitalism and the global economic system that excludes so much of humanity.

On Friday, Francis called for the United Nations to promote a “worldwide ethical mobilization” of solidarity with the poor in a new spirit of generosity.

He said a more equal form of economic progress can be had through “the legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the state, as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society.”

Francis had a similar message to the World Economic Forum in January and in his apostolic exhortation “The Joy of the Gospel.” That document, which denounced trickle-down economic theories as unproven and naive, provoked criticism in the U.S. that he was Marxist.

Republican Representative Brings a Joint to a Hearing – Video

John Mica

“I have this joint here,” he said. And with that announcement, the congressman,  Rep. John Mica (R-FL), waved the rolled Mary Jane in the air.

“This is… okay, don’t get too excited, some of you. This is not a real one. It’s a mock one,” he said.

The Congressman was discussing the penalties of marijuana possession when he displayed the Ganga. Asked by a fellow congressman if he rolled the weed all by himself, Mica replied that his staff helped. “They have more experience,” he said.

As far as I know, this was the first time Cannabis made its way on the House floor.

FBI Begins Investigation into Bundy Militia Gunmen

They came armed with pistols, rifles and machine guns and they paraded about town as if they were filming a scene for a movie about the Wild Wild West.

Their goal was simple – do whatever they had to do, including putting their women on the front lines so they could be killed when the shooting began – all to make sure Cliven Bundy continued breaking the law.

Well an investigation has begun, and these militia members could soon realize that this is not a movie about the Wild Wild West, but a land of rules and laws.

Las Vegas TV station KLAS reported Thursday that the FBI has begun interviewing Clark County sheriff’s officials in what the news station describes as a “formal investigation into alleged death threats, intimidation and possible weapons violations” on the part of the Bundy militia.

Sheriff Doug Gillespie confirmed to KLAS that FBI agents asked him whether he saw Bundy supporters point guns at metro police officers during last month’s showdown, but declined to share what he told the agents.

Federal authorities with the Bureau of Land Management ended their round-up of Bundy’s cattle on April 12 over safety concerns. Hundreds of protesters, some armed, had gathered at the site to support the rancher. Those militias continued to maintain an armed presence on roads around Bundy’s ranch well after the federal authorities withdrew.

Sickos – Republicans Raising Money from Made Up Benghazi Scandal

I bet you never thought they’d go this low. Republicans are sending out fundraising emails in their sick and twisted charade, essentially profiting from the death of 4 Americans in Benghazi Libya. And not even the Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives, John Boehner, had an excuse for his party’s low-down, dirty, money-making venture.

The main question brought to him today at a press conference, was why were Republicans using Benghazi to raise money. Boehner dodged the question.

“Our focus is on getting the answers to those families who lost their loved ones, period,” Boehner (R-Ohio) said repeatedly when asked multiple times whether Republicans should stop citing the attacks in fundraising pitches.

The National Republican Congressional Committee this week has used e-mail blasts and a blog post meant to collect contact information and solicit donations in an attempt to capitalize on the reemergence of the attacks.

Those efforts come as House Republicans work to structure a select committee to further investigate the Obama administration’s handling of the attacks that left four Americans dead.

Democrats have accused Republicans of resurrecting the investigation into the Benghazi attacks as a way to score political points with their base — a charge fueled even further once the campaign committee began soliciting money by mentioning the attacks.

“Fundraising off the Benghazi tragedy is despicable and insulting and has no place in the national conversation,” Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Steve Israel said in a statement released Thursday.

The Nerve of Obama for Creating a Budget Surplus for Month of April

President Obama is at it again.

The man has given Americans affordable healthcare, stopped the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and on his watch the stock market has hit record highs on multiple locations. And he also had the nerve to implement policies that brought our on employment rate down from almost 10 percent when he took office to 6.3 percent now.

What is this guy’s problem? It’s like he’s trying to make America a better place for Americans. How dare he!

And now this!

New reports out today are highlighting to the fact that under this president, we ran a surplus for the month of April. A $114 billion surplus!

For the first seven months of this fiscal year, which began on Oct. 1, the CBO estimates the country has racked up a $301 billion deficit, which is $187 billion lower than it was for the same period last year.
Federal coffers saw a 7% increase in individual income taxes and payroll taxes, a 15% increase in corporate income taxes, and a 37% increase in money paid to Treasury by the Federal Reserve.

Meanwhile, overall spending fell by 2%.

Making America a better place for Americans? The Republicans must be livid!

Christian Conservative to Christians – Be More “Spiritually Violent”

John Hagee’s son Matthew sent out the special alert bulletin yesterday on “The Hagee Hotline” show, calling all Christians to become more “spiritually violent” in fighting against things like gay marriage and abortion because secularists who support such things have “become violent with people of faith.”

Citing the Supreme Court’s recent ruling upholding sectarian prayer at government meetings, Hagee said that he would have rejoiced if the ruling has been 8-1 “because then we would know that we have one liberal judge that we needed to get rid of.” But the actual 5-4 ruling is cause for alarm because it means that prayer is just one vote away from being entirely eliminated from public life, Hagee warned, and that “ought to be something that causes us to be chilled to the bone.”

It’s absolute nonsense for us to be debating the value of prayer,” Hagee said, just as it is “absolute nonsense” to even be having debates over issues like gay marriage and abortion.

The reason such debates are happening, he said, is because Christians are not being “intrusive enough to make sure that our faith is established in our culture.” As a result, secularists have “become violent with people of faith” and Christians need to fight back.

“There is a value in spiritual violence,” Hagee declared, “and it is time that you considered the role that you are playing or not playing and whether or not it’s time for you to become more aggressive in your beliefs.”

Republicans Fooled Them Again – Must Be An Election Year

Lois Lerner

Republicans are on a mission. They have once again managed to bamboozled the entire media and got the whole nation talking about an already debunked so-called Benghazi scandal.

And now they’re doing it again. They’re raising other debunked so-called scandal with the IRS, by voting to hold Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress abd requesting a special prosecutor to investigate the IRS agency.

A classic bate and switch technique.

Lerner, who headed an IRS division that processed applications for 501c tax-exempt status, refused to testify during two previous Republican witch hunt hearings, invoking her Fifth Amendment rights.

Republicans were obviously not amused.

The House voted 250-168 in favor of the measure calling for a special prosecutor to investigate the matter. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), who pushed for the move last week, has said the IRS’s actions are “too serious a matter to leave to the discretion of partisan political appointees.”

The contempt resolution asks the Justice Department to seek criminal prosecution against Lerner.

Do you see what’s happening here? There is a simple reason why Republicans are ramping up all these debunked “scandals” like Benghazi and now the IRS. They have absolutely no accomplishments, no policies to show the American people, except the masterful ways they’ve block progress. So ginning up their base with lies about the Benghazi and now the IRS, is a sure way to bring their base out to the polls in November.

And their base, the low information Fox News viewers they are, will rush to the polls because of a debunked “scabdal” call Benghazi, and another debunked “scandal” with the IRS.

US Senator – Some Won’t Work With Obama “because he’s the wrong color.”

See? I told you. It’s like this senator read my mind or something.

Sen. Jay Rockefeller unloaded on lawmakers Tuesday, accusing some of blocking efforts to solve urgent problems during Barack Obama’s presidency “because he’s the wrong color.”

Rockefeller (D-W.Va.), who will retire at the end of the year, made his comments during a Senate Finance Committee hearing on transportation funding, saying he’s confounded by the “lack of will to keep ourselves from dropping into rivers and rolling over bridges that are no longer there.”

“It’s an American characteristic that you don’t do anything which displeases the voters, because you always have to get reelected here,” he added. “I understand part of it. It has to do with — for some, it’s just we don’t want anything good to happen under this president, because he’s the wrong color.”
