I will stop broadcasting these stories about police brutality when those hired to serve and protect figure out what it really means to “Serve and Protect.”
This example of excessive force and police brutality comes from Arizona in an incident that happened on February 19th, when a suspect who allegedly had a gun was followed by various cops and then rammed by one officer driving a patrol car. This particular officer wanted to go home to his family and used his patrol car to send the man flying in the air. Fortunately, the man did not die from his injuries and the officer who used his vehicle as a weapon faced no charges from the department.
Eric Harris is just another man gunned down by a police officer… a reserved police officer… with the incident caught on camera.
Harris was involved in an undercover drug operation when things went south. The video shows him exiting a car and running away, being chased by police officers and Robert Bates, a 74 year old millionaire, who volunteered as a reserved cop. On the video, Harris is caught by one of the officers and is on the ground when the 74 year old apparently went for his taser and pulled his gun instead, shooting and eventually killing Harris.
“He shot me!” Harris yelled, before he died. “He shot me, man. Oh, my god. I’m losing my breath.”
“Fuck your breath,” another officer is heard yelling on the video.
Harris’ brother Andre spoke with CNN and explained his frustration.
“It was a situation where I didn’t necessarily think that a taser should even be used,” Harris said on New Day. “As you see the footage that was three or four, maybe five people on him. We hadn’t seen the whole tape so I’m not exactly sure how many people are on him. But there was enough people on top of my brother, knees on his head, to not even have to use a taser. For it to be that many people around him and him go to use a taser really didn’t make any sense.”
“And then with the taser being yellow and on his chest, for him to shoot my brother with a .357 makes no sense to me,” Harris said. “It was overkill.” Harris added he was pleased to see charges brought against Bates.
Another recording was released today showing the aftermath of a police shooting in South Carolina, where a black man was shot in the back and died from eight gunshot wounds inflicted by the officer. In the audio recording, another man is heard advising the officer on what the next steps will be, telling the officer that his gun will most likely be taken away and advising him to take a few days to get his story straight.
“Once they get here, it’ll be real quick,” the other man says to Officer Slager. “They’re gonna tell you, you’re gonna be off for a couple days and we’ll come back and interview you then. They’re not gonna ask you any type of questions right now. They’re gonna take your weapon,” the officer says. “It’d probably be a good idea to jot down your thoughts about whatever happened … once the adrenaline stops pumping.”
Slager is also heard apparently answering a call on his phone, telling the person on the other end of the call that “everything’s OK. OK? I just shot somebody. He grabbed my Taser, yeah. Yeah,” says Slager. “He was running from me. … I’m fine.”
Of course, the only thruth in that statement is the fact that the man, a 50-year-old man named Walter Scott, was in fact running away from Slager when he was shot in the back and died on the spot.
The video below shows San Bernardino police officers, kicking, tasing and beating a man accused of stealing a horse in the Deep Creek area of Apple Valley California on Thursday. The disturbing video shows between 5 to 6 cops doing everything possible to go home to their families. The non responsive man received multiple kicks to the head, kicks to the groin and multiple body and face blows by the apparent scared bunch of cops.
His goal was to give a review of the new Jay Z music streaming app, but then the news broke about another black man gunned down by another police officer, and in this edition of The Illipsis, Jay Smooth shared his thoughts on the killing of the 50 year old African American, Walter L. Scott.
“Why do they never try to save them?” Smooth asked.

In the middle of Sunday services, where God is supposed to be praised and where love is celebrated, a gun stored in someone’s pocket went off, grazing another man’s head… in church… during Sunday services!
The firearm’s safety was off and the trigger caught on the man’s pocket, firing off a shot and grazing the man’s hand, according to television station WTAE.
“I immediately took a step back and was about to take cover,” Jason Wagler, who was attending service at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, told the station.
“You never know if you’re safe anymore in this world. It’s a shame to know you can’t go into church without having something like this happen,” he said.
Wagler caught video on his phone of one man sat in a pew, flanked by two women appearing to care for him.
He said he also noticed that the man handed the gun off to someone else, who attempted to conceal the weapon in a church booklet amid the chaos.
“He immediately concealed it in a white program, so I took pictures of the gun inside this program,” Wagler said.
Authorities have not released the name of the man they suspect mistakenly fired the gun. WTAE reported that he was driven to to hospital.
So based on the flight recordings from the Germanwings airplane that crashed a few days ago killing all 150 people onboard, it is now being determined that the co-pilot deliberately locked the pilot out of the cockpit and crashed the plane. This is leading many to ask why? Why would the co-pilot do something so hideous?
Well, according to Pat Robertson, the reason could be that the co-pilot was a Muslim. Of course! He killed a lot of people, so… there!
“What happened to that plane that crashed into the French Alps?” Robertson asked on Thursday’s edition of The 700 Club. “Well, they’ve begun to find out. The pilot went to the lavatory and was soon locked out of the cockpit. He pounded on the door, begging to come in. But the door was not opened.”
“The co-pilot then takes the plane, pushes it into a dive and crashes it. The passengers are screaming as the plane went down. The pilot is yelling.”
“What a terrible tragedy,” the TV preacher continued. “Was that co-pilot a Muslim? Was he suicidal? What was it about him?”
Mind blowing revelation straight out of Republican congressman Louie Gohmert. The joker in the pack is no doubt, Mr. Gohmert, but that is not stopping the Louie from talking openly about probably running for president in 2016!
The Hill reached out to Gohmert to ask if he would be supporting Ted Cruz‘s presidential campaign. Gohmert said, “Ted is a good friend and would be an outstanding President; however, I haven’t ruled out an exploratory committee myself.”
Gohmert mounted a campaign earlier this year against John Boehner to become the next Speaker of the House. He received three votes, but claimed afterwards that at one point they had enough votes to take down Boehner.
A daredevil on a motorcycle taunted officers and performed stunts at speeds over 100 mph as he led police on an hour-long pursuit in Southern California, the NY Post reports.
The entire high-speed chase was caught on camera Wednesday night and shows the “crazy” motorcyclist standing proudly on his bike’s seat with his arms spread wide in the air. Moments later, he turns back and appears to egg on the cops, gesturing to them repeatedly.
Rancho Cucamunga resident Phillip Resendez, 22, was eventually arrested and booked for driving on the wrong side of the road and failure to yield after he pulled over and surrendered at a gas station, according to NBC Los Angeles.
At one point during the pursuit, Resendez — who was riding a Honda — can be seen parked in a cul-de-sac, acting completely cool as helicopters hover overhead. He nonchalantly takes his helmet off, puts his earbuds in and then takes off just as patrol cars approach him.
Later, he appears to even slow down and chat with two motorcycle cops who are riding next to him. But the fun and games abruptly came to an end once Resendez finally pulled over.
“I just want to say I love my family and my two baby girls,” he told CBS Los Angeles, moments after being taken into custody. “I’m sorry I disappointed them and put them in the middle of all of this.”
But Resendez didn’t look too remorseful sitting in the back of a cop car. Wearing a shirt with a marijuana leaf, he can be seen smiling from ear to ear as he stares directly at news cameras.
The ruling came Thursday from the New York Supreme Court after formal requests were made by civil rights groups, including the New York Civil Liberties Union, the Legal Aid Society the city’s public advocate, and the NAACP.
“The failure to indict the officer responsible for the death of Eric Garner has left many wondering if black lives even matter,” NYCLU executive director Donna Lieberman said in a statement. “Sadly, today’s decision will only leave many asking that same question again.”
Veteran New York Supreme Court Justice William E Garnett said in the ruling that he did not believe the civil rights lawyers had established a compelling enough reason for warrant a disclosure of the grand jury minutes.
“What would they use the minutes for? The only answer which the court heard was the possibility of effecting legislative change,” he wrote. “That proffered need is purely speculative and does not satisfy the requirements of the law.”
The Garner family was not a part of the petition but supported calls for the release of the grand jury transcripts. Garner’s mother, Gwen Carr, and his daughter, Erica Garner were present in court for the oral arguments.
Okay, here’s the lead up to the Ludacris and Jeb Bush encounter!
Apparently, Ludacris’ foundation is doing some great charitable work so he was invited to the House of Representatives in Atlanta GA., for a formal recognition of said work. Jeb Bush was there on other business and someone thought it would be great if Bush was seen with Luda. Let’s call it their black outreach attempt.
The meeting happened and a pic was taken. Then Jeb tweeted with excitement that Luda was his “opening act!”

This, from a FBI statement. “Earlier in the day, the Claiborne County Sheriffs Department and the Mississippi Wildlife Fisheries and Parks conducted a ground search for a man who had been missing since early March. Officers located a man hanging in the woods near Roddy Road a half mile from his last known residence.
“The sheriff’s department contacted the MBI and FBI for forensic and investigative assistance. Investigators are currently processing the scene for evidence to determine the cause and manner of death.”
The man was reported missing on March 8 after disappearing on March 2nd.
