Pastor Explains – Women Were Born To Be submissive And Subject To Men

I’m at a loss of words on this one, so I’ll let the so-called “pastor” explain.

His rant on the roles of men and women really got interesting somewhere around the 51 minute mark in his sermon, where he went out of his way to explain that men are not better than women. But after making that point, Pastor Steven Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona explained that he is a dictator in his home and that his wife is happy to play the submissive role. She “was born to be submissive and subject to me,” he said.

When it comes to authority, there is no equality. You say, “How does your home run?” A dictatorship. Any questions? It’s a monarchy, okay? Mono. One boss. Okay? That’s how my home is run. That’s how every biblical home is run, by the way, okay? And you say, “Oh, your wife must hate you!” No, women love that. Because they were born to fill that role. Just like I was born to be the husband and the leader, my wife was born to be the wife and to be submissive and subject to me. And she’s gonna be most happier doing what God created her to do, just like I’m going to be most happy doing what God created me to do!

And, you know, you say, “Well, that’s not true, because I talk to all these women that are just, you know, they just want to be a feminist and stuff…” You know what? Here’s what I’ve found over the years: The women who are screaming the loudest that they want to be a feminist and that they don’t want a man telling them what to do, on the inside, are really screaming the loudest, please tell me what to do. Please put me in my place. And, you know what? If you don’t believe that? You’re just ignorant. It’s that simple.

And, yeah, I’m sure that there are some reprobate lesbians out there that have a different view. But let me tell you something: A normal woman, on the inside, wants to follow a leader. She wants to follow a husband. She wants a man there that she can look up to, not look down on…

Man Buys iPhone For $2.00… From A Three Year Old

A homeless man accused of snatching an iPhone from a 3-year-old boy in Greenwich Village told cops the tyke sold him the phone fair and square — for $2.

“Yeah, I f—ed up,” Feliberto Ramirez, 53, admitted after his arrest last month, according to a police confession released today, as he pleaded not guilty to grand larceny before Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ronald Zweibel.

“I took the phone,” Ramirez admitted. “But I offered the kid two dollars. He shook his head, said yeah, and he handed me the phone. And I walked out of the store,” he told cops, according to the confession.

As the Post first reported, the tyke, Aidan Tally, of Lodi, NJ, had been playing “Subway Surfer” on his mom’s smart phone while she shopped for sneakers just three feet away in Zacky’s on Broadway.

Ramirez did toss little Aidan a couple bucks before bolting out of Zacky’s on Broadway with the phone, cops said, but that isn’t getting him out of jail just yet.
Ramirez remains held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

A Pedophile or a Racist?

A pedophile or a racist? This teacher chose the latter.

A Texas woman is admitting to being a racist in order to clear her name of sexual assault. She plans to use the claim as a defense against the charges that she fondled an African-American student in her first grade class at Northwest Preparatory Academy Charter School in Humble.

According to RawStory:

According to a criminal complaint obtained by the Houston Chronicle, the 7-year-old girl said that 61-year-old Esther Irene Stokes sent all of the other students out of the room on March 1 and then touched her “private part” on the outside of her clothes.

“The victim said that she was in the classroom alone with the teacher and that the teacher touched her on the outside of her clothes, on what she called her ‘private part,’ her vaginal area,” Humble Police Department Detective J. Blanchard explained on Tuesday.

When Stokes took a polygraph test and failed, she told the police that she hadn’t touched the girl, and she had proof that she didn’t.

“She doesn’t like to even touch the black children on their hand, she shies away when they try to hug her — she admitted to being prejudiced,” Blanchard said.

The complaint stated that Stokes “doesn’t like black students because she was prejudiced” and “has little to no interaction” with her accuser.

The little girl also told police that Stokes made her stand out in the hall without any lunch. But of course, she denied that as well.

Stokes’ attorney, Patty Maginnis, said that any racist comments made by her client were “not proof that any crime has been committed.”

“I would consider that just a personal opinion,” the lawyer noted. “The facts of the case will determine that she is innocent.”

She was fired on Tuesday.

Next time she might want to argue that she doesn’t like to mess with kids PERIOD! Not that she has a preference. SMH.

Republican Lawmaker Refers To Women As “Vaginas”

New Hampshire State Rep. Peter Hansen referred to women as “vaginas” in an email to colleagues sent on the legislature’s official internal listserv. In response to a message debating a “stand your ground” measure being considered by the State House, the Republican lawmaker wrote:

What could possibly be missing from those factual tales of successful retreat in VT, Germany, and the bowels of Amsterdam? Why children and vagina’s of course. While the tales relate the actions of a solitary male the outcome cannot relate to similar situations where children and women and mothers are the potential victims.

Hansen’s use of metonym outraged his Democratic and Republican colleagues, prompting Democratice State Rep. Rick Watrous to respond:

“Children and vagina’s”??!! Are you really using “vaginas” as a crude catch-all for women? Really? Please think before you send out such offensive language on the legislative listserve.”

NARAL Pro-Choice New Hampshire weighed in, too:

Shame on Representative Hansen — we will do everything in our power to ensure voters in his district know about his demeaning rhetoric. Women are more than their reproductive organs. We are daughters, sisters, mothers, students, professionals, and community leaders. We deserve more than being referenced by our body parts.

Hansen initially remained defiant in response to criticism, explaining that he had a “fairly well educated mind” and did not need his colleagues to act as “self-appointed wardens” to his speech. He went on to suggest that anyone offended by his use of female genitalia to describe women everywhere should “re-examine [their] psyche.”

But his critics persisted and Hansen relented over his figure of speech, at least a little:

was not, and is not, my intention to demean women at any time. It is apparent that the intent of my remarks has been misinterpreted, the true goal of the message lost and for that I apologize to those who took offense.

This is an amazing video of a store owner and his brother who were fed up and fought back with a bat and chairs …and it’s hilarious!

I’m also happy to report that even after receiving a shot to the leg, Luis Quizhpe (store owner)  survived the attack and possibly taught those two robbers a lesson they won’t soon forget.

Florida Cop Fired For Using Trayvon Martin Silhouette As Shooting Target

A police sergeant from Cape Canaveral, Florida has been fired after it was discovered he brought two shooting targets resembling Trayvon Martin to a training session last week.

According to WFTV two officers saw the targets in the back of Sgt. Ron King’s vehicle and they informed the Chief of the Port Authority Police.

King was allegedly bringing the targets to a firearms training session in Cocoa, Florida at Brevard Community College.

The sergeant, who has been on the force since January of 2011, was on duty at the time.

He had purchased the two targets from the internet. It is not clear if they were used during the training session.

After an investigation from internal affairs, King was fired on Thursday.

John Walsh, the CEO of Cape Canaveral Port Authority, spoke to WFTV and apologized to Port Canaveral and the family of Trayvon Martin.

‘It’s something that we’d never want the Port Authority to be involved in and we truly apologize to the families for the pain that they even had to hear about something like this and had to relive their son’s death again.’

Texas Republican Wants to Hang All Who Votes For Background Checks

Thursday, 16 Republican senators voted to move forward with debate on gun control legislation. Texas Railroad Commissioner Barry Smitherman’s response: hang them.

Smitherman, a Republican who oversees the state’s oil and gas industry (the name is a bit of an anachronism) retweeted an image listing all 16 GOP senators, along with an image of a noose with “treason” on top of it.

Smitherman still has a long way to go if  he wants to claim the biggest overreaction to gun control legislation. Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) alleged that national firearms databases could lead to “evil consequences”—such as genocide.

Teenager Commits Suicide After Photograph Of Her Gang Rape Goes Viral

A Canadian teenager committed suicide after photos allegedly showing her being gang-raped spread through her school, her family has said.

Rehtaeh Parsons, 17, was found by her mother in the bathroom of their family home in Nova Scotia shortly after she hanged herself.

Her family said her suicide was the result of almost two years of bullying and depression after a photo purporting to show her being raped by four boys went viral and spread through her school in Dartmouth.

The photo of the incident reportedly also included one of the boys present posing with a smile and a thumbs up.

Speaking to CTV News in Canada, Leah Parsons said the attack occurred in November 2011 when her daughter was just 15. After drinking vodka with others at a friend’s house, Rehtaeh soon became heavily intoxicated.

“The group began drinking vodka straight. Rehtaeh didn’t remember all of it [but] she remembers a guy leading her up the stairs [and] guys taking turns on top of her.”

It was then that the boys took pictures of the attack and of her vomiting out the window.

Her mother said severe bullying and trauma following the incident meant Rehtaeh never fully recovered. According to Ms Parsons, Rehtaeh was repeatedly called a “slut” by fellow pupils and regularly received text messages jokingly asking for sex.

Despite moving schools and to a different community entirely, she continued to suffer from depression and was forced to spend almost six weeks in hospital as she became increasingly suicidal.

She hanged herself on Thursday and was taken off life support by her family on Sunday evening.

  • Children under 12 is charged 75% of the adult rate

The CEO Concludes…

“When the initial shock has worn off, there’s been nothing but support. People who are up around 200 kg recognize…they’re paying (for) 200 kg, so they deserve to get 200 kg of comfort.”

Maine Dance Instructor Faces Jail Time For Using Studio As Prostitution Ring

The dance instructor who used her Zumba fitness studio as a front for prostitution faces jail time after pleading guilty in a case that captivated a quiet seaside town known for its beaches and picturesque homes.The plea agreement, which calls for a 10-month sentence, spares Alexis Wright from the prospect of a high-profile trial featuring sex videos, exhibitionism and pornography. She’s scheduled to be sentenced on May 31.
Wright quietly answered “guilty” 20 times on Friday when the judge read the counts, which include engaging in prostitution, promotion of prostitution, conspiracy, tax evasion and theft by deception.“We’re very satisfied with it. It’s an appropriate outcome, given the gravity of her actions,” Assistant Attorney General Darcy Mitchell said after the brief court hearing.The 30-year-old Wright was accused of conspiring with insurance agent Mark Strong Sr. to run a prostitution business in which she kept detailed records indicating she made $150,000 over an 18-month period. She was also accused of using a hidden camera to record sex acts without her clients’ knowledge.

She was originally charged with 106 counts. All the counts in the agreement were misdemeanors, including three counts relating to welfare and tax fraud that were reduced from felonies.

Pope Francis Washed And Kissed The Feet Of Inmates – Pic

Pope Francis washed the feet of a dozen inmates at a juvenile detention center in a Holy Thursday ritual that he celebrated for years as archbishop and is continuing now that he is pope. Two of the 12 were young women, a remarkable choice given that the rite re-enacts Jesus’ washing of the feet of his male disciples.

The Mass was held in the Casal del Marmo facility in Rome, where 46 young men and women currently are detained. Many of them are Gypsies or North African migrants, and the Vatican said the 12 selected for the rite weren’t necessarily Catholic.

Because the inmates were mostly minors — the facility houses inmates aged 14-21 — the Vatican and Italian Justice Ministry limited media access inside. But Vatican Radio carried the Mass live, and Francis told the detainees that Jesus washed the feet of his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion in a gesture of love and service.

“This is a symbol, it is a sign —washing your feet means I am at your service,” Francis told the youngsters. “Help one another. This is what Jesus teaches us. This is what I do. And I do it with my heart. I do this with my heart because it is my duty, as a priest and bishop I must be at your service.”

What Does Easter Mean To You?

Happy Easter! But what does Easter mean to you? There are so many that believe Easter has something to do with a Bunny Rabbit that lay eggs for us to hide and hunt  for; or jelly beans and chocolate bunnies that are crème filled and full of calories and the fulfillment of a sweet tooth craving. Easter has turned into a commercially charged money-maker. With candy companies loading stores with their sweets and clothing stores laying out their racks with new suits and dresses, Easter has become a multi-billion dollar sales bonanza for major corporations.

According to the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Easter spending survey, conducted by BIGinsight in March of 2012, Americans shelled out an average of $145.28 on everything from apparel and candy to food and decorations that year, up 11 percent from $131.04 the previous year. Total spending was expected to reach $16.8 billion.

“Though the price of gas is on everyone’s mind, Easter is one of the few holidays some consumers are willing to stretch their budgets, especially because many children look forward to treats and new outfits on Easter morning,” said NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay. “Retailers will make sure to offer plenty of promotions on candy, apparel, food and decorations in the coming weeks for eager holiday shoppers.”

Due to consumer demand, the sales breakdown is expected to look like this:

  •  48.5% will head to retailers for spring sales on fashions and accessories for kids, men, and women while spending approximately $3.0 billion on these items.
  • 89.3% will purchase more than $2 billion on traditional favorites such as chocolate eggs and jelly beans.
  •  Easter meals with the average person expected to spend around $44.34 for a total $5.1 billion.
  •  53.6% will buy greeting cards, spending an average of $7.04.

My, how the most sacred of holidays has eclipsed the true meaning of what this week is supposed to represent. According to the Holy Bible, this week was the time in which Jesus triumphantly entered Jerusalem, promoting the “Kingdom of God” was at hand. The Passover and the Last Supper had taken place and Jesus was betrayed into the hands of the Chief Priest by Judas Iscariot and on Friday, he would be Crucified by the Roman soldiers. As He died on the cross, Jesus, in His last breathes asked GOD to forgive them for, “They no not what they do”. That still rings True on today. We, as a nation – even this whole world –, ‘know not what we’re doing’. The Good News is God Still Forgives! All we have to do is ask, which is why Jesus came into this world.

So, what is the true meaning of Easter? Is it the things that money can buy or is it the one thing that money could never buy?

A tiny hint, money can’t buy your Salvation. And Salvation is Sweeter than candy. Smile.
