It’s insane, scary and believable … a 19-year-old girl admits to not only killing a guy who hired her for sex on Craigslist, she says she killed so many others, “When I hit 22, I stopped counting.”
Miranda Barbour is in a Pennsylvania jail, awaiting trial for allegedly stabbing Troy LaFerrara 20 times, because she tested him and said she was only 16 and he responded by saying he’d still have sex with her. And — as a molestation victim herself — that set her off.
Barbour said in a jailhouse interview over the weekend she’s been killing people since she was 13. She insists she only kills bad people, claiming, “I did this to people who did bad things and didn’t deserve to be here anymore.”
In an interview with the Daily Item … Barbour says the first murder coincides with joining a satanic cult in Alaska.
As for the LaFerrara murder, Barbour says she and her husband of 3 weeks killed him in their car.
Barbour says she has no remorse but does not want to be sprung from jail because, “If I were to be released I would do this again.”
There’s a kid in Dokka, Norway who is taking this lying thing to levels we never expected from a 10-year-old.The boy, who has not been named, stole his parents’ vehicle while they were sleeping, crashed it into a snowy ditch, and told police that he was a dwarf who forgot his license.
The boy – who lives near Dokka, a town 110kms (68 miles) north of Oslo – put his 18-month old sister into the car sometime before 6am, while his parents were still sleeping and set off to visit his grandparents in Valdres, about 60 kilometers away.
“The parents woke up and discovered that the children were missing and that someone had taken off with their car. They were pretty upset, as you can imagine,” said Baard Christiansen, a spokesman for the Vest Oppland police district.
When authorities finally found him (with the help of a snowplow who saw the boy in the ditch) he offered up that ridiculous explanation:
“The boy told the snowplow driver that he was a dwarf and that he had forgotten his driver’s license at home.”
Which is both clever and alarming for a 10-year-old to conjure up.
Thankfully, the kids and the car were uninjured. We do not, however, have details on what happened when his parents got ahold of him. But we’re guessing nothing good.
The jury weighing the fate of a white Florida man accused of killing a black teen during an argument over loud music could make a decision Friday in the much-watched case.
The jury resumed deliberations at 9 a.m. ET Friday.
Things remained silent most of the day until shortly before 5 p.m., when Judge Russell Healey answered a question from the jury: Is it possible to not reach a verdict on one count and reach a verdict on other counts?
To which Healey responded: Yes.
What’s at stake is the fate of Michael Dunn, who says he acted in self-defense when he opened fire on four teenagers in an SUV in Jacksonville in November 2012.
Prosecutors contend it was an act of murder. Dunn has been charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 17-year-old Jordan Davis. He also has been charged with three counts of attempted murder. If Dunn is found guilty, he faces up to life in prison.
Darren Sharper has just been charged with 2 counts of rape in L.A. … after the former New Orleans Saints superstar allegedly drugged multiple women and raped them in his hotel room … TMZ Sports has learned.
Among the charges … two counts of rape by use of drugs, four counts of furnishing a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance, all felonies.
Sharper — who had a Hall of Fame-caliber NFL career as a safety — is accused of drugging the women with zolpidem (Ambien).
Officials say Sharper met the two womenin a West Hollywood nightclub on October 30th and invited them to another party.
On the way, officials say they stopped at Darren’s hotel room and he gave them each a shot.
The women then passed out and hours later one of the women claims she woke up with Sharper sexually assaulting her. The second woman says she woke up and “interrupted his actions.”
Officials say Sharper STRUCK AGAIN on January 14th … when he returned to the same West Hollywood nightclub and found two more women.
Sharper allegedly pulled the same scheme — inviting them back to hs room, gave them a shot, they passed out, he raped them.
Officials say both women left his hotel and sought medical treatment.
Sharper was arrested on January 17th. He was released on $200k bail. In addition to the rape, officials also say he was illegally in possession of morphine.
If convicted, Sharper faces more than 30 YEARS in prison. Officials are recommending the judge set his bail at $100 MILLION.
(Update: We’re told the $100 million bail was a typo … officials meant to request a $10 MILLION bail).
Officials say Sharper is also accused of raping women in 3 other states — including Arizona, Nevada and Louisiana.
What’s in a name? In northwestern Mexico, officials say potentially a lifetime of bullying, so parents in the state of Sonora can no longer opt to name their children Scrotum, Terminator, USNAVY or Facebook.
The 61 banned names include technology-inspired monikers like Twitter and Yahoo, fictional characters Harry Potter, James Bond and Rambo and surgical terms like Circumcision.
Children will also be spared being dubbed Virgin, Hitler, Email, Burger King, Christmas Day, Robocop and Rolling Stone.
“It’s about protecting children,” said Cristina Ramirez, the director of Sonora’s Civil Registry. “We want to make sure children’s names don’t get them bullied in school.”
Ramirez anticipates the list will expand in future as officials discover more objectionable names
Lazio were forced to release official documents and threaten legal action to prove a youth team player was still a teenager and not in his 40s.
Joseph Marie Minala, 17, came in for abuse on social networking sites after releasing a picture showing him looking much older than his teenage years. Quotes also appeared in Senegalese media that said Minala was 41.
The Italian club and Minala’s agent rubbished claims that he was a cheat, producing the paper work to prove he was the correct age.

Mario Balotelli, 23, Italian professional soccer player for AC Milan, shed tears on the bench after racist taunts were repeatedly hurled at him, reports Bleacher Report.
Since Balotelli’s reaction was captured on video and spread like wildfire on social media, his coach and teammates have tried to downplay the incident, insisting that racism was not a factor.
“What can I say about Balotelli’s tears? They were the tears of a sportsman,” said CoachClarence Seedorf in a press conference following the game.
Seedorf insisted that Balotelli’s tears are “human.”
“These are things that happen many times in football and sport in general,” said Seedorf in an interview with Mediaset Premium. “I’d say it was actually beautiful, but I’d prefer to talk about the game.”
“We are players,” he said to Sky Sports Italia, “and there are times when we express ourselves that way. I see nothing wrong or abnormal in that. I experienced it at times too.”
