The footage above shows the chaotic moments as the rapper and his crew desperately ran for their lives.
According to police, the bad guys jacked 2 Chainz for his cell phone and wallet. Towards the end of the video, you can see a man running back up the street with what appears to be the loot stuffed under his clothes.
Interior designer Kenneth Bordewick, who was a regular visitor to the Jackson home before Michael died of a drug overdose in 2009, tells me: ‘Paris has always ruled the roost. She was in charge of the whole house before Michael died. The kids were completely spoiled by the staff, and Paris told everyone what to do, including her father. They would have big arguments; there was always a lot of drama with Paris.’
She was only 11 when Jackson died, and to this day, it’s said she assumes a maternal role, particularly where her younger brother Prince Michael, 11, is concerned.
Although his children emerged into a kind of normality after his death, they had to deal with the burden of sudden fame alongside their grief.
Paris seems concerned by her father’s legacy — and wants him to be remembered as a consummate entertainer, not a drug-addicted oddball.
In a newspaper interview last month she talked about wanting to get his old Neverland estate going as a kind of theme park — to help underprivileged children. She doesn’t see — as he didn’t — that the idea of an accused paedophile helping children could be viewed as grotesque. As a teenage user of social media, she has been bombarded with distasteful messages about his proclivities.
She is also said to be terrified by the prospect of testifying at the ongoing ‘wrongful death’ lawsuit the Jacksons are bringing against concert promoters AEG. Michael was signed to perform a series of gigs which the family argues he was in no fit state to perform. She can expect to be asked about her father’s health and state of mind before he died, and the events of the day he died.
Now AEG has a further bombshell — it claims to have ‘irrefutable’ proof that Michael is not the biological father of Prince or Paris, which they wish to bring to court.
Jackson family lawyers argue that the issue is irrelevant, and AEG is just seeking to embarrass the family.
Paris Jackson, the daughter of deceased singer Michael Jackson, was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a possible suicide attempt, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, the 15-year-old was transported to the hospital from the family’s Calabasas, Calif. home at approximately 2 a.m., after a 911 call was placed.
TMZ reports that the 911 caller reported a possible overdose, but also cites a source stating that there were cuts on one of Jackson’s wrists.
TMZ says that Jackson is currently “doing OK.”
Debbie Rowe, Jackson’s mother, confirmed the hospitalization report to Entertainment Tonight, and said Jackson has had “a lot going on [lately].”
LA County Fire confirms that they received a 911 call for an overdose at 1:15 a.m. and one person was transported to hospital.
Back in 2012, during a routine screening, the adult film industry discovered that veteran actor Mr. Marcus, real name Jesse Spencer, had syphilis. He received a penicillin shot immediately. But when he was screened 11 days later he still showed signs of the disease. But instead of sitting out of the next shoot, Mr. Marcus altered the results of the second test and returned to work.
Well, earlier today Spencer, who plead no contest to the charges, was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He was also ordered to perform 15 days of community service and serve three years probation.
Spencer is also jailed with a $200,000 bail for an unrelated drunk driving case.
A junior high school band member on the cymbals has new found fame after his instrument fails mid-show and the video goes viral.
His new found fame comes not because of the cymbal that falls apart in his hand, instead it’s his recovery that has people watching, sharing and talking.
Robin Thicke’s new single has sold 190,000 copies during its first week’s release in the UK making the tune the fastest selling single of the year.
and rightfully so…
This Blurred Lines collaboration with Pharrell and T.I. is perfect for the upcoming summer BBQ and backyard party jams. I caught Thicke’s new song earlier today on the radio waves and I’ve been playing this infectiously smooth dance jam ever since.
I am a huge fan of Thicke, Pharrell, and T.I., so I think this collaboration is quite a tasty one.
The song will no doubt remind you of Marvin Gaye’s classic beat, Got To Give It Up — Another perfect summer jam.
Have a listen and don’t be afraid to get up and dance a little. C’mon, Everybody Get Up!
The Big Three (From left to right: Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, and Lebron James) were meant to be dominate for years to come
In today’s world of basketball a superstar cannot take his team to the Finals, or even deep into the playoffs for that matter, anymore. No longer will we see superstars like Allen Iverson take a cap strapped and D-League talent team into the Finals. In today’s basketball world it takes two superstars and one star to carry a team into the playoffs, that is what we know as “The Big Three”. The Spurs have Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobli and we’ve seen the Celtics have their own in Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett. None though were ever as feared than Miami’s Big Three in superstars Dwayne Wade and Lebron James coupled with the star power in Chris Bosh. Around those core three a full team was built and made to win, no not just win, but to dominate the National Basketball League for years to come. Why then are the Miami Heat one game away from elimination? One game away from throwing away a season where the Miami Heat earned 66 wins and an almost record breaking 27 game win streak; One game away from what was suppose to be years of dominance being thrown away.
Rather the less famous of the Miami’s Big Three is Power Forward Chris Bosh
While Chris Bosh is not a superstar, he is easily the most important role player on the Miami Heat. His first two seasons in Miami he’s averaged around 18 PPG and around 8 RPG. In this series with Indiana though he’s come up small, so small he might as be invisible. His numbers suggest he’s in a slump (11.3 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and shooting 41.1%) and he’s even admitted he’s just not feeling his normal self. Granted Bosh is battling an ankle “injury” it can’t be that serious seeing how he has started all the games in the playoffs and only against Indiana has he really fallen off.
The Heat use to be Dwayne Wade’s team before Lebron
Oh the once athletic and high flying Dwayne Wade has started to show the wear and tear of playing basketball the way he does. We all knew Wade was hurting with his chronic knee problems but we never knew the extent of it until this series. His play vs Indiana has shown him miss open shots, easy lay ups, and just not the superstar caliber play we’ve seen Wade play with his entire career; he’s averaging only 14.0 points per game, a post season career low for him. Dwayne has been quoted by saying that the Heat cannot win with Lebron James playing hero ball and that James needs to trust the team and play the way the Heat did to win their last title.
The King is poised to either rise above the rest or watch the “Big Three” era crumble
Tonight all eye’s will be on Wade, James, and Bosh. Will we see a resurgence in Dwayne Wade’s ability to play like he use to? Will we see Bosh become that perfect complimentary piece to James and Wade? If those two continue to hide in the shadows when the spot light is on them, we can all safely say that the era of Miami’s “Big Three” is over and that King James now stands alone in his court.
Michael Douglas revealed the cause of his throat cancer was not smoking and drinking – as he previously believed — but instead by performing oral sex.
The 68-year-old actor was incredibly honest in an interview with The Guardian, explaining that he learned his cancer was caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).
“Without wanting to get too specific, this particular cancer is caused by HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus,” he said.
The actor, currently enjoying rave reviews for his performance as famed pianist Liberace, told the British newspaper that he though the diagnosis three years ago was sure to be a fatal one. The onslaught of bad news — including his son’s incarceration and his rehabilitation stint for his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, who suffers from Bipolar disorder – led him to believe stress was a trigger.
“I did worry if the stress caused by my son’s incarceration didn’t help trigger it,” Douglas said. “But yeah, it’s a sexually transmitted disease that causes cancer. And if you have it, cunnilingus is also the best cure for it.”
According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, one tract of HPV — known as HPV16 — is known to be linked to oral cancer, manifesting itself in the back regions of the throat and mouth.
The “Wall Street” actor has been open about the incredible discovery of a walnut sized tumor in his throat almost nine months too late. In an interview with New York Magazine, Douglas detailed symptoms of toothaches and infections that stumped doctors.
“After complaining for nine months and them not finding anything, and then they told me I was stage four?” he said. “That was a big day.”
Noticeably thin for months, the actor lost 45 lbs while undergoing treatment.
“The amount of chemo I was getting, it zaps all the good stuff too,” he said. “It made me very weak.”
Now, two years cancer free, Douglas said playing Liberace – who died of illnesses related to AIDS — was a “beautiful gift.”
“It was right after my cancer, and this beautiful gift was handed to me. I’m eternally grateful,” he said. “For this to come along, when you’re wondering if you have a career — you’ve had this big hiatus, you don’t know what repercussions cancer has for being hired. It was something to look forward to.”
Miguelis having a hard time moving past the Billboard Music Awards leg drop incident. Khyati Shah, the young woman who caught the fade during the performance, may file a lawsuit according to her attorney.
E! News got the exclusive from Shah’s attorney, Vip Bhola, who says his side is currently mulling their options while waiting on Shah’s health results from her doctors. Although Shah seemed to be fine during a backstage interview with the R&B star shortly after the performance, Bhola claims his client’s condition has since worsened.

Well the weather hasn’t been great here in New Jersey so I stayed away from the shore this Memorial Day Weekend and spent Monday night at the movies with my friends. They talked me into seeing Fast and Furious 6; here is my short review.
What I liked:
There are two simple things that appeal to a teenage guy like me, fast cars and hot girls. This movie has them both so that part of me was satisfied.
This movie is a direct sequel to F&F 5 so there isn’t this hour of character introductions and back stories.
What I disliked:
It’s a direct sequel…so if you are just now jumping into the Fast and Furious series, well you’ll be totally lost and confused.
This movie is no Tokyo Drift. Tokyo Drift is the ultimate movie in this entire movie series; it encompasses everything Fast and Furious should be about: fast exotic cars, hot girls, and awesome street races
What in the world was I watching? Fast and Furious 6 seemed to have more love stories than Twilight, more explosions than Transformers, more cheesy one liners than any comedy movie, more car crashes than The Blues Brothers, and more gun fights than an old western.
Hey…uh where were the car races? There was one legitimate street race that lasted three or four minutes.
The plot gets even more unrealistic to the point it just doesn’t even make sense. (Spoiler Alert) You mean to tell me a car crew of internationally wanted cons aren’t able to be tracked down while hiding in the near open and hired by a crime fighting unit to take down a rival crew led by an ex SAS operative? Sure…
There’s going to be another next July. I can tell you already that Fast and Furious 6 was made to lead directly into the next one that’s already been confirmed. Now I understand the need to bring the story full circle but the plot is going to be the same just with a new “bad guy” in it who is another big name (ahem Jason Statham). I just hope they bring Fast and Furious back to it’s roots because this series is becoming as played out as Saw and Final Destination.
My final impressions? Well if you have that much free time, a little kid who wants to see it, or friends who will buy you your ticket then by all means go see Fast and Furious 6. Otherwise save yourself the $13 for a ticket and go buy lunch or dinner.
