Tiger Woods’ Brother Arrested for Making Bomb Threat

Tiger Woods’ half brother, Earl Dennison Woods Jr., was arrested Thursday after police said he called in a bomb threat to an Arizona Department of Economic Security office in Phoenix.

Woods, 58, worked at the office and admitted to supervisors that he called in the threat as a joke, authorities said.

Phoenix police responded at about 8:30 a.m. to the DES building at 1824 E. McKinley St. after a caller — later identified as Woods — said that he had a bomb and was going to blow up the building, said Sgt. Trent Crump, a Phoenix Police spokesman.

The building was evacuated and searched, but no device was found.

During the search, Woods admitted to management that he called in the threat and he had done so as a joke, Crump said, adding that Woods repeated his admissions to authorities during an interview.

Woods was booked into a Maricopa County jail on suspicion of use of an electronic communication device to terrify, intimidate, threaten or harass, which is a misdemeanor.

Another Week, Another Republican Arrested For Rape

They constantly pat themselves on the back and brag that they are the party of responsibility and Christian morality. But I’m getting to the point where writing about another Republican charged with rape, is becoming the norm.

Sadly.

Robert Kerns, former chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Committee in Pennsylvania, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with 19 criminal counts, including rape of an unconscious victim, rape of a substantially impaired person, sexual assault, aggravated assault without consent, aggravated assault of a person unaware penetration was occurring, and 8 other forms of assault.

He also faces charges of possession of an instrument of crime with intent, possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with evidence. According to the Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman, a grand jury discovered that Kerns had “delivered a controlled substance and sexually assaulted a woman in multiple locations.”

Authorities said that Kerns had drugged the woman by spiking her drink with Ambien, a drug used to treat insomnia, during a Republican Party dinner. He then allegedly raped her multiple times when she lost consciousness.

Once Again, George Zimmerman Finds Himself Arrested

Yes folks, we’re talking about the same model citizen who murdered an innocent child and walked free.

George Zimmerman, acquitted in July in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, was arrested Monday in Seminole County Fla., authorities said.

“He is in custody,” Officer Green, with the county sheriff’s office told USA TODAY. He said the booking officer handling Zimmerman was still filing his report and he had no additional information.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that Zimmerman was en route to the Seminole County Jail in Sanford, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger. The Sentinel said it was not clear what happened or what crime he’s accused of committing.

WESH-TV reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend in the unincorporated area of Apopka. The station said sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call, and that several sheriff’s office vehicles were at the home.

Zimmerman’s new girlfriend lives in the area of Apopka where the arrest took place, the Sentinel reports.

Zimmerman, 30, was a neighborhood watch volunteer in a gated community in Sanford, Fla., when he shot Trayvon, 17, on Feb. 26, 2012. Trayvon was black, Zimmerman is Latino. The shooting of Trayvon, who was unarmed, touched off protests across the nation. Some of the wrath targeted the state’s Stand Your Ground statute, although Zimmerman’s lawyers opted to rely on a more standard self-defense argument at trial.

Zimmerman has had several involvements with authorities since his acquittal. In September, police were called to the home of his estranged wife’s father amid claims of a domestic dispute, but no charges were ever filed. He also has been pulled over three times for minor traffic incidents, twice receiving warnings and once issued a speeding ticket.

Chris Brown Arrested in Washington DC – Punched Man in Face

According to reporting from TMZ, Chris Brown was arrested in Washington today on a felony charge for punching a man in the face.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … at around 4:30 AM Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel on K Street and allegedly punched him once in the face.  We’re told the alleged victim never threw a punch. 

The alleged victim tells TMZ … he and a friend were hanging out at the W when they saw 2 woman about to take a picture with Brown.  The victim — who says he’s not a Chris Brown fan — says he and his buddy photo bombed the 2 woman and Chris went nuts, punching him in the face and BREAKING HIS NOSE.  He went to the hospital and says he may need surgery as early as tomorrow. 

Law enforcement sources and the alleged victim tell TMZ … before striking the man, Chris said, “I’m not into this gay s**t, I’m into boxing.”  After Chris punched the man, the fight was taken to the ground.

Sources connected with Chris tell TMZ … the alleged victim is full of BS.  He was NOT trying to take a pic with Chris … he was trying to get on Chris’ tour bus, and Brown was simply trying to stop a trespass.  The sources say before the incident the 2 girls tried to get on the bus but the were stopped, and that’s when the victim and his friend made their move.

HIV Infected Priest Arrested For Solicitating Sexual Act

A 69-year-old Catholic priest was arrested in a Cleveland park after offering a ranger $50 for a sexual act, police said.

James McGonegal exposed himself to an off-duty Metropark ranger last week and then proceeded to pleasure himself while seated in his SUV on park grounds, police reported.

Because he is HIV-positive, he was charged with a felony count of solicitation after testing positive for HIV, as well as public indecency.

He was a pastor at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, according to several local reports.

He was released on bond.

He solicited an off-duty ranger wearing civilian and said he was “cruising,” police said. The ranger, who was not part of a sting operation, asked the man what he meant by that.

McGonegal said he needed help to “get off,” according to officers. Sex aides were found in his vehicle.

Then the priest showed the ranger his penis and began masturbating, police said.

He was arrested without incident.

Ted Nugent’s Wife Arrested at Airport For Gun Possession

The wife of singer Ted Nugent was arrested Thursday afternoon after security found a gun in her carry-on luggage at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Airport spokesman David Magana confirmed that the DFW Airport Department of Public Safety took Shemane Ann Nugent, 51, into custody, and “the rest of it is working its way through our system of legal approval.”

Nugent’s attorney, David Finn, said that taking the gun to the airport was an “honest mistake.” Finn said Nugent has a concealed handgun license.

Finn said Nugent had worked late and got up early Thursday for the airport, and either “completely forgot or never knew the weapon was in her bag.”

“She is very embarrassed. She’s never been in this situation before,” said Finn. “She has expressed remorse for any inconvenience for any public safety officials.”

Scottie Pippen has just been Arrested for Felony Assault

Law enforcement sources tell us, Pippen turned himself in to authorities in Malibu moments ago.   He’s being booked for felony assault with intent to commit great bodily harm.

Pippen allegedly brutalized an autograph seeker outside Nobu restaurant Sunday night.  The man was knocked out after Pippen allegedly punched him in the face and kicked him repeatedly.

Chad Johnson Update: Former NFL Star Arrested for Violation of His probation

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson has been arrested on charges that he violated probation stemming from an altercation with his now ex-wife, TV reality star Evelyn Lozada.

A Broward County judge ordered Johnson jailed Monday until he posts a $1,000 bond. Another hearing was set for June 3. An arrest warrant was issued earlier this month when Johnson failed to meet his probation officer.

The six-time Pro Bowl player formerly known as Chad Ochocinco is serving a year of probation after Lozada said he head-butted her during an argument last August. She quickly filed for divorce. They had been married only since July 4.

Johnson was released by the Miami Dolphins after the incident. He also played for the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots.

Malcolm Shabazz Murder Suspects Arrested In Mexico

 

MEXICO CITY — Two waiters at a Mexico City bar will face homicide and robbery charges in the beating death of Malcolm X’s grandson Malcolm Shabazz, authorities said Monday.

Prosecutors said police were seeking at least two other people believed to have participated in the attack on Shabazz, who was beaten early Thursday in a dispute over a $1,200 bar bill.

Prosecutor Rodolfo Fernando Rios said bar employees David Hernandez Cruz and Manuel Alejandro Perez de Jesus would be charged with aggravated robbery and homicide.

Rios said there was no indication of a racial motivation in the attack on Shabazz, 28, who was assaulted after he drank with a friend at the Palace bar on Garibaldi Plaza, a downtown square famous for open-air performances by strolling mariachi musicians.

Miguel Suarez, a friend of Shabazz, told The Associated Press last week that the fight broke out after the owner of the bar demanded that the two men pay 15,000 pesos for the time they spent drinking at the bar. He said he found Shabazz outside the bar and took him to a hospital where he died.

Report: Charles Ramsey Was Arrested for Spousal Abuse

As if you didn’t already know this was going to happen. As soon as Charles Ramsey showed his face on television, some in the media started digging, trying to find any and all negative news possible about the new American hero.

Well The Smoking Gun has apparently found what they’ve been looking for. They have issued a report claiming that Charles Ramsey was locked up in the past for spousal abuse.

Ramsey’s first domestic violence charge came in February 1997. He entered a no contest plea a year later and was found guilty of the count by a Cleveland Municipal Court judge. While waiting to be sentenced, Ramsey was again arrested for domestic violence.

At the time of Ramsey’s second collar, in July 1998, he was already the subject of an arrest warrant issued in connection with his failure to appear for a court hearing in the first domestic violence case. As a result, Ramsey was jailed for violating terms of his release on bond. Ramsey subsequently entered a no contest plea to the second case and was, again, found guilty by a Cleveland judge.

The domestic violence cases apparently were consolidated for sentencing in August 1998, when Ramsey was ordered to serve six months in jail, placed on five years probation, and directed to attend a domestic violence counseling program.

Following his release from custody, Ramsey violated probation terms, according to an April 1999 court docket entry. While an arrest warrant was issued for Ramsey, it is unclear from court records whether it was executed before both misdemeanor cases were formally closed several years later.

Hot 97 DJ Arrested For Soliciting Male Prostitute

What the hell is going on with Mister Cee?

According to report by The New York Daily News, the popular New York DJ who works at the number one radio station called hot 97, was arrested last weekend for soliciting a male prostitute.

According to the report, Mister Cee was cruising in Brooklyn in the wee hours of the morning when he picked up an undercover police officer who was acting as a male prostitute.

According to other employees at hot 97 the problem is not that Mister Cee may be gay, the problem is he’s soliciting prostitution and that act is a crime.

It was also revealed, that this is the third time Mister Cee is arrested for soliciting prostitutes.

Three More Arrested In Boston Marathon Bombings

Three more suspects have been taken into custody in the marathon bombings, city police said Wednesday.

The police department made the announcement in a tweet Wednesday morning, saying more details would follow. Police spokeswoman Cheryl Fiandaca confirmed the tweet but referred all other questions to the FBI.

Three people were killed and more than 260 injured on April 15 when two bombs exploded near the finish line.

Suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev died after a gunfight with police several days later. His brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was captured and lies in a hospital prison.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s relatives will claim his body now that his wife has agreed to release it, an uncle said. Tsarnaev, 26, has been at the medical examiner’s office in Massachusetts since he died after a gunfight with authorities more than a week ago.
