DNC Vice Chair Steps Down – Endorses Bernie Sanders for President – Video

Just last month, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii and Chair of the DNC refused to say which of the two Democratic candidates she would support for president. Today, she stepped down from her job on the DNC and announced her support for Bernie Sanders for President.

“As a veteran, as a soldier, I’ve seen firsthand the true cost of war,” Gabbard said in her announcement. “As we look at our choices as to who our next commander-in-chief will be is to recognize the necessity to have a commander-in-chief who has foresight. Who exercises good judgment. Who looks beyond the consequences – who looks at the consequences of the actions that they are willing to take before they take those actions. So that we don’t continue to find ourselves in these failures that have resulted in chaos in the Middle East and so much loss of life.”

Republican Admits on CNN – Republicans “have gone bat-shit!” – Video

Republicans lost their minds a long, long time ago, and their frustrations have manifested itself in many ways. On CNN, a panel was assembled to talk about Thursday night’s Republican slug-fest, and a Republican on the panel had to admit that Republicans and the Republican party “have gone bat shit!”

Radio host Scottie Nell Hughes was visibly aggravated by Thursday’s GOP debate that saw candidates Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz standing on the stage yelling at each other while CNN moderator Wolf Blitzer stood helplessly by.

Saying Rubio had pledged to not attack Trump, Hughes was dismayed by the change in tactics by the Florida senator during the debate.

“In 24 hours we see the most rabid frothing politician that I’ve seen yet,” she explained. “Spewing nothing but lies from him that night.”

Asked ” What does that do to the party?” Hughes went off on a rant that found her swearing on live TV — which she realized seconds after her outburst as the other guests laughed.

“It absolutely destroys our party,” she exclaimed. “I think both of those politicians — Governor Christie and Senator Graham are right. We have gone bat shit.”

John Kasich Tells When He Will Quit his Campaign for President

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie endorsed Donald Trump yesterday. Yeah, that happened.

An unbelievable Pause goes here.

In the meantime, Ohio governor John Kasich is laying out his exit strategy from running a losing campaign for president.

“I will beat Donald Trump in Ohio, and that will be the beginning of a new day,” Kasich told a crowd in Nashville, according to the New York Times.

“Some of the other candidates, if they can’t win their home state, they got to get out, OK?” he added. “If I don’t win my home state, I’ll get out. But you know what? I’m going to win Ohio.”

The remark was a dig at his rival Marco Rubio, who is trailing Trump by 16 points in his home state of Florida, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll.

Ohio goes to the polls on March 15. Another Quinnipiac poll puts Trump ahead of Kasich in Ohio by 5 percentage points, just outside the poll’s margin of error, but the governor has insisted that he will have no problem winning the state.

Carson Doubles Down – Barack Obama “was, you know, raised white”

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson was awarded a little spotlight from the media today when he said that President Obama was not raised like a typical African-American, but was “raised white.” Carson then went on CNN and doubled down on that original statement.

“I grew up in Detroit, and I grew up in Boston. In Boston, we lived in the ghetto. There were a lot of violent episodes there. There were rats, there were roaches. It was dire poverty,” Carson said, speaking of his mother who worked around-the-clock but refused to accept welfare. “Now, let me contrast that to the President, who went to private schools, grew up in a relatively affluent environment, had an opportunity to live in multiple cultures and different countries. I think that’s a very different experience.”

Carson maintained that he was not “criticizing” Obama. But he had gone further in an interview with Politico’s Glenn Thrush on his “Off Message” podcast that aired Tuesday.

“He’s an ‘African’ American. He was, you know, raised white,” the retired neurosurgeon said. “So, for him to, you know, claim that, you know, he identifies with the experience of black Americans, I think, is a bit of a stretch.”

Ex CIA Director – If Trump Wants Waterboarding, He should “bring his own bucket”

Please don’t put ideas in the man’s head. Trump has already proven that he has zero morals!

Former CIA Director Michael Hayden’s pithy line, which he first uttered in a Showtime documentary and repeated to NBC News, underscores a serious issue: The GOP front-runner has vowed to bring back torture if he becomes president, but current and former CIA officials say the agency feels so burned by what happened when its post 9/11 interrogation program was exposed that it would refuse any such orders.

“Multiple investigations, grand juries, presidential condemnations and congressional star chambers have a way of doing that to you,” Hayden, who was CIA director at the end of the George W. Bush administration, told NBC News.

He then offered an even stronger version of his Showtime quote. “Like the man said, if you want somebody waterboarded, bring your own damn bucket.”

Trump said Wednesday he is convinced that “torture works,” so he would bring back waterboarding and “much stronger” methods.

John Kasich – Women “Left their kitchen” to Support Me – Video

I don’t know what is up with these Republican men and their demeaning view of women. Even John Kasich, easily considered the most level-headed in the group running for the Republican nomination for president, can’t seem to get past the women belong in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant mentality.

At an event in Virginia on Monday, Kasich bragged that women came out of their kitchen to support his first campaign in Ohio.

Hillary Clinton Beats Bernie Sanders in Nevada

Whatever retooling the Clinton campaign team did after being blown out by Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire, worked… at least in Nevada, as the former Secretary of State was projected the winner of the Democratic Nevada caucus long before the results rolled in.

Clinton prevailed in the third contest of the primary campaign with the backing of women, union workers, minorities and voters who are certain that the former secretary of state will have a better shot of winning in November, according to entrance polls.

Marvin Teske, a 53-year-old security guard at a Reno casino, said he worried that Sanders would have trouble winning in the fall. The Vermont senator largely appeals to white liberals, a relatively narrow swath of the Democratic Party.

“As far as being too far left, I agree with a lot of the stuff he has to say. But the problem I have is that all the stuff he is promising is never going to happen,” Teske said. “I’ve always liked Hillary.”

Revealed – Cruz Pulls Carson into a Closet And…

It’s the pinnacle of hypocrisy – say a big lie in public with the goal of misleading, then try to correct your lie in secret when no one is watching. And that is exactly what the Ted Cruz campaign is accused of doing to the Ben Carson campaign.

In the first voting event in Iowa, Ted Cruz and his campaign was accused of stealing the election by fooling Ben Carson’s supporters, telling them that their candidate was dropping out and that they should vote for Cruz. The goal was successful and Ted Cruz pulled off what none of the polls predicted – an Iowa win.

On Thursday night when no one was looking, Ted Cruz pulled Ben Carson into… a closet of all places to, I hope, personally apologize for his Iowa lie. The closet meeting took about 20 minutes and according to Carson’s campaign, the meeting on Thursday night “did not go well.”

Senior Carson spokesperson Jason Osborne said to The Daily Beast that the meeting “did not go well” because he did not have time to prepare Carson for the discussion, which went long enough that Carson’s staff had to knock on the door to get him ready to speak at the event. The Beast, citing an unidentified party operative, reported that the two met for between 20 and 25 minutes while Carson’s Secret Service detail stood outside the closet.

According to Osborne, Carson told him that he and the Tea Party senator agreed to “disagree on accountability and culpability.”

A spokesperson for Cruz’s campaign, Rick Tyler, also confirmed that the meeting took place, saying, “Yes, they had a good visit.”

#Insanity – Trump Guards Christianity Against The Attacks of The Pope

Donald Trump has basically offended every group on the planet, and Republicans love him for it. Now, Trump is engaging in a religious war with, of all people, the Pope.

Speaking at the US/Mexico border, Pope Francis was asked to comment on Donald Trump’s immigration plan to build a wall between the two countries. The Pope did not hesitate to point out the hypocrisy of the Republican leader who loves to call himself  “a Christian” every time he talks to Christian Republican voters.

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,” he said. While Francis said he would “give the benefit of the doubt” because he had not heard Trump’s border plans independently, he added, “I say only that this man is not a Christian if he has said things like that.”

Trump, a Presbyterian and the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, responded within minutes.

“For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful,” he said at a campaign stop in South Carolina, which holds a key primary on Saturday. “I am proud to be a Christian, and as president I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened.

So now Donald Trump, the man who is known for using the podium to spit his profanity, is now the gatekeeper for Christianity, and he is accusing the Pope of attacking and weakening said Christianity!

Who will win this holy war? Amazingly the profane laced, xenophobic has a good chance of winning this war against the Pope among today’s Republicans. What is wrong with these people?

Canadian Born Ted Cruz Sued Over his Claim of Being a “Natural Born” US Citizen

“I never breathed a breath of air on this planet when I was not a U.S. citizen,” Canadian born Republican presidential candidate, Ted Cruz said at a CNN town hall.  “It was the act of being born that made me a U.S. citizen.”

He added: “There will be some who try to work political mischief on it, but as a legal matter, this is clear and straightforward.”

But apparently the matter is not settled. It is not “clear and straightforward.” Numerous law professors and constitutionalists have raised questions about Cruz’s eligibility to be president of the United States. Some even said flat-out that the man born in Canada cannot run for the highest office in the land. One lawyer in Chicago is bringing his questions and concerns to the court.

Lawrence Joyce, a lawyer and Republican, is taking Ted Cruz to court. Yes, he is a Republican supporting Ben Carson, but Mr. Joyce wants no questions hanging over Cruz’s head if he becomes the Republican nominee for President. And apparently, Joyce is well aware that Democrats like Alan Grayson already have their lawsuits lined up… waiting…!

“What I fear is that Ted Cruz becomes the nominee, come September, Congressman Alan Grayson of Florida will go forward with his threats and probably several other Democrats will file suit to prevent Ted Cruz from being on the ballot,” Joyce, a pharmacist and attorney from Poplar Grove, Ill, told USA TODAY.

Joyce’s suit is just one of a few. A federal lawsuit was filed in Texas last month asking for a determination of Cruz’s eligibility to run. And voters in New York, who raised similar concerns about Cruz’s citizenship, on Thursday filed a challenge with the state Board of Election challenging the senator’s eligibility to be on the ballot.
