Trump’s Products Are Still ‘Made in China’

Donald Trump is set to meet with China’s president, Xi Jinping this weekend. The meeting has pushed the Russian/Trump collusion conversation out of the way as the media now focuses on what the two men will talk about.

In his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump berated China so this meeting between the two men should be interesting.

In addition to that, North Korea is acting up again and Donald Trump is expected to ask about China’s role in diffusing that situation.

But will that be the full scope of their discussion? What about all the products Donald Trump still make in China? Should we not expect him to inquire about better prices or better deals?

Despite President Donald Trump’s calls for American companies to manufacture their products in the U.S., shipments of his daughter’s branded, Chinese-made dresses have continued to land on U.S. shores since he took office, documents reviewed by NBC News show.

Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping will have a lot to talk about during their first meeting Thursday, including the Trump’s allegations of Chinese currency manipulation and the loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to Beijing’s “unfair” trade practices.

“We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country,” Trump told his cheering supporters last year on the campaign trail in Indiana. “There are no jobs because China has our jobs.”

Some of those jobs are apparently still filled by Chinese workers assembling dresses for a licensee of Ivanka Trump’s namesake clothing line.

Since Election Day, the apparel brand run by Trump’s daughter has imported 56 shipments of Ivanka Trump products from China and Singapore, part of a total of 215 shipments from Asia since Jan. 1, 2016.

Donald Trump’s Approval Ratings Drop To New Lows

What do you expect? The man has been a total failure since Russia bulldozed him into the White House!

Just 34 percent of the country approved of the job Trump is doing, down from 44.1 percent in March, according to the latest survey this week from Investor’s Business Daily/TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence (IBD/TIPP). The president’s approval rating remained well underwater, with 56 percent of the respondents disapproving of his job performance.

Some key supporters have begun to migrate away from Trump, notably Republicans, independents and white men. Trump’s approval among Republicans dropped to just 74 percent, a 14-percentage-point tumble from last month, according to IBD/TIPP. His approval among independents fell 11 percentage points to 29 percent. Among white men, one of Trump’s strongest demographic bases, his approval rating fell from 58 percent to 49 percent.

Federal Judge Rules In Favor of Lawsuit Against Trump – He Incited Violence

Apparently, Donald Trump’s words during the 2016 presidential campaign have meaning. That’s according to a ruling by a federal judge who agreed with plaintiffs in a lawsuit accusing Trump of inciting violence against them at one of his rallies.

A federal judge in Kentucky is the latest to take Trump at his word when he says something controversial. Judge David J. Hale ruled against efforts by Trump’s attorneys to throw out a lawsuit accusing him of inciting violence against protesters at a March 2016 campaign rally in Louisville.

At the rally, Trump repeatedly said “get ’em out” and “get ’em the hell out of here” before, according to the protesters, they were shoved and punched by his supporters. Trump’s attorneys sought to have the case dismissed on free speech grounds, arguing that he didn’t intend for his supporters to use force. But Hale noted that speech inciting violence is not protected by the First Amendment and ruled that there is plenty of evidence that the protesters’ injuries were a “direct and proximate result” of Trump’s words.

“It is plausible that Trump’s direction to ‘get ’em out of here’ advocated the use of force,” Hale wrote. “It was an order, an instruction, a command.”

Republican Rep. on Trump – He’s Like “a child” trying to get his way

So, Donald Trump took a whopping last when his TrumpDontCare health care bill failed miserably in the House of Representatives. The bill, which generated a massive popularity of 17% with Americans, was also extremely unpopular with members of his own Republican party, and they turned their backs on Trump, causing him to pull the bill from a vote.

That all happened last week. This week, Trump decided that the way to win favor among his fellow Republicans, the way to be the master negotiator he thinks he is, is to do what he does best – attack the people in his own party!

In a Thursday tweet, Trump issued a warning to The Freedom Caucus – a group of Conservative Republicans who bucked his healthcare plan, causing it to fail.

“The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they don’t get on the team, & fast. We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018!”

The tweet was answered by members of the Freedom Caucus. One in particular compared Trump to a fifth grader, trying to bully others to get his way!

“It didn’t take long for the swamp to drain President Trump,” tweeted Rep. Justin Amash, a Freedom Caucus member.

“Most people don’t take well to being bullied. It’s constructive in fifth grade. It may allow a child to get his way, but that’s not how our government works

Republican Representative Calls for Nunes to Recuse Himself

When people from your own party starts calling for your resignation, then you know you have hit rock bottom.

Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.) on Tuesday told The Hill that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) should “absolutely” recuse himself from his panel’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in last year’s election.

Jones, a member of the House Armed Services Committee who frequently bucks leadership, is the first Republican in Congress to call on Nunes to step aside.

“How can you be chairman of a major committee and do all these things behind the scenes and keep your credibility? You can’t keep your credibility,” Jones said just off the House floor.

“If anything has shown that we need a commission, this has done it by the way he has acted. That’s the only way you can bring integrity to the process. The integrity of the committee looking into this has been tainted.”

Jones is the only Republican co-sponsor on a measure from Reps. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) that would establish an independent commission to probe Russian interference in the U.S. election.

Nunes on Tuesday brushed aside calls to recuse himself, asking why he should.

Dick Cheney – Russia’s Meddling in U.S Election Could be an “act of war”

You’ll think that since President Obama is no longer the president and a fellow Republican is, that Dick Cheney would be on television walking in line and singing the praises of Donald Trump. But it appears Cheney is not much of a fan on the Donald.

In a speech at the Economic Times’ Global Business Summit, Cheney calls Russia’s decision to help Donald win the presidency, “an act of war.”

“There’s no question there was a very serious effort made by Mr. [Vladimir] Putin and his government, his organization, to interfere in major ways with our basic fundamental democratic processes,” Cheney said.

“In some quarters, that would be considered an act of war. I think it’s a kind of conduct and activity we will see going forward. We know he’s attempted it previously in other states in the Baltics,” Cheney said, according to video of the remarks.

Some Democratic lawmakers charged last week that Russia’s election meddling amounted to an act of war, and others have accused Moscow of “attacking” the United States through its hacking.

“I actually think that their engagement was an act of war, an act of hybrid warfare, and I think that’s why the American people should be concerned about it,” Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) said at a House Intelligence Committee hearing on Russian election interference last Monday.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) also said back in December that Russia’s actions amounted to an act of war.

Hillary Clinton Responds to TrumpCare Failure – “The Fight Isn’t Over Yet”

Hillary Clinton reminded the nation yesterday that although Republicans were forced to cancel their so-called “healthcare” bill, “the fight isn’t over yet!”

Clinton tweeted an official statement along with a handful of stories from people who have benefitted from ObamaCare.

“Today was a victory for the 24,000,000 people at risk of losing their health insurance, for seniors, for families battling the quiet epidemic of addiction, for new moms and women everywhere,” Clinton said in her statement.

“Most of all, it’s a victory for anyone who believes affordable health care is a human right. We cannot forget: This victory happened because people in every cover of our country committed their time and energy to calling their representatives, showing up at town hall meetings, and making their voices heard.”

“The fight isn’t over yet,” she added, saying that “we will have to push back on future bad ideas and embrace good ones to make health care more affordable.”

CNN’s John King – “There’s a Credibility Problem” with Trump’s White House – Video

It has now become old news that Donald Trump and his White House are built on a foundation of lies. So when Trump’s White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, just about guaranteed a vote today on TrumpCare, a vote that didn’t happen by the way, CNN’s John King called out Spicer and Trump’s White House for the lies they tell.

“I hate to say it that early in a new administration, but there’s a credibility problem in the White House briefing room,” King said on CNN.

Trump ‘The Great Negotiator’ Stops Negotiating on TrumpCare

Donald Trump, the self praised “great negotiator” walked away from negotiations today demanding a vote on his TrumpDontCare healthcare bill.

Abandoning negotiations, President Donald Trump on Thursday demanded a make-or-break vote on health care legislation in the House, threatening to leave “Obamacare” in place and move on to other issues if Friday’s vote fails.

The risky move, part gamble and part threat, was presented to GOP lawmakers behind closed doors Thursday night after a long and intense day that saw a planned vote on the health care bill scrapped as the legislation remained short of votes amid cascading negotiations among conservative lawmakers, moderates and others.

At the end of it the president had had enough and was ready to vote and move on, whatever the result, Trump’s budget director Mick Mulvaney told lawmakers.

“‘Negotiations are over, we’d like to vote tomorrow and let’s get this done for the American people.’ That was it,” Rep. Duncan Hunter of California said as he left the meeting, summarizing Mulvaney’s message to lawmakers.

And if the vote fails, Obamacare “stays for now,” Hunter said.

“Let’s vote,” White House chief strategist Steve Bannon said as he left the meeting.

The outcome of Friday’s vote was uncertain. Both conservative and moderate lawmakers claimed the bill lacked votes after a long day of talks.

Colin Kaepernick Donates $50,000.00 to Meals on Wheels

Former San Francisco quarterback, Colin Kaepernick became hated by many Americans because he decided to protest police brutality by exercising his first amendment right and kneeling during the rendition of the national anthem.

But apparently, Kaepernick does more than just annoying people who fail to understand what freedom of speech is all about. According to a recent article, Kaepernick is also free with his money. And Trump’s recent budget to take money away from Meals on Wheels caused Kaepernick to jump into gear.

Kaepernick, who sparked controversy by kneeling during the national anthem before 49ers games in the fall of 2016, also donated $50,000 to the social media campaign #LoveArmyForSomalia, which aims to raise $2 million to aid starving people in Somalia, NFL.com reported.

Kaepernick’s donation to Meals on Wheels comes on the heels of President Donald Trump’s proposed budget plan for 2018, which would cut federal funding for the program. Kaepernick and Trump have sparred often since the quarterback began kneeling before football games to protest police brutality and racial oppression

FBI Director – No Evidence of Wiretapping, But Investigating Trump/Russia Ties

The Trump White House took another hit today when FBI Director, James Comey, shot down Trump’s false claims of being wiretap by former President, Barack Obama. Comey also confirmed that the FBI is actively investigating collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The FBI is investigating whether President Donald Trump’s campaign associates coordinated with Russian officials in an effort to sway the 2016 presidential election, Director James Comey said Monday in an extraordinary public confirmation of a probe the president has refused to acknowledge, dismissed as fake news and blamed on Democrats.

In a bruising five-hour session, the FBI director also knocked down Trump’s claim that his predecessor had wiretapped his New York skyscraper, an assertion that has distracted White House officials and frustrated fellow Republicans who acknowledge they’ve seen no evidence to support it.

The revelation of the investigation of possible collusion with Russians, and the first public confirmation of the wider probe that began last summer, came in a remarkable hearing by one branch of government examining serious allegations against another branch and the new president’s election campaign.

Tight-lipped for the most part, Comey refused to offer details on the scope, targets or timeline for the FBI investigation, which could shadow the White House for months, if not years. The director would not say whether the probe has turned up evidence that Trump associates may have schemed with Russians during a campaign marked by email hacking that investigators believe was aimed at helping the Republican defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton.

“I can promise you,” the FBI director vowed, “we will follow the facts wherever they lead.”

Hillary Clinton – “I’m Ready To Come Out of the Woods” – Video

Following her so-called “defeat” to Russia… Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, Hillary was spotted walking in the woods of Chappaqua NY., accompanied by her husband Bill Clinton. Photographs were taken and posted on social media and it was understood that the former Secretary of State needed some alone time with her family. Hillary sightings were few and in-between since the November 8th election, but things are changing.

In a speech in Scranton, Hillary says that she is “ready to come out of the woods,” and that watching Donald Trump and his kind of politics makes it hard for her to watch the news. The former First Lady then went on to advocate a united nation.
