Mentally Ill Man Shot and Killed Seconds After Police Arrived On Scene – Video

Are you getting used to this yet? Police officers taking it upon themselves to decide who deserves a death penalty and then enforcing that death penalty on American citizens? You’ve seen numerous examples of this. You should be used to it by now.

But I’m not. Although I’ve seen countless videos of people being gunned down by police, I still cannot understand the act. It seems to me that gunning down the same person you’ve sworn to “serve and protect” is the ultimate living oxymoron.

On April 30th, Officer Neal Browder took a call to investigate a report of a man with a knife at an adult book store in San Diego. When Browder pulled up on the scene, the video shows him stopping his car and asking dispatch for a description of the perpetrator. After getting the description, Browder replied that he has the man in sight. The man, a 42-year-old mentally-ill homeless man named Fridoon Rawshan Nehad, walks into the video as Browder opens the drivers door and steps out of his car, gun drawn. Almost instantly, a flash of light leaves Browder’s gun and Nehad falls to the ground and dies.

The footage below was released by San Diego County District Attorney, Bonnie Dumanis. However, Bonnie Dumanis held a press conference stating that there will be no charges against the officer, according to reporting by KGTV.

Police Shooting – Black Man Shot Dead while Walking Away from Police – Video

Eye witnesses say the man, a 28-year-old, was walking with a gun and “shooting rounds into the air.” Police say their commands for the man to drop the gun were ignored, so they fired multiple rounds at the man as he walked then crawled away from them, killing him.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the shooting happened around 11 a.m. outside of an Arco gas station near Long Beach Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue.

Deputies from the Century Station responded to the area after receiving multiple calls about a man in a checkered shirt with a gun and shots being fired.

An eyewitness who asked to remain anonymous captured video of the gunfire and said the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Nick Robertson, was shooting in the air and did not want to comply with commands.

Deputies at the scene said they yelled multiple commands at the suspect to drop the gun, but ended up opening fire when he didn’t listen.

In the video, Robertson is seen walking away from officers and then several rounds are fired. He is seen injured, crawling on the ground. Deputies fire several more shots until he stops moving.

Other witnesses at the scene told authorities they saw the suspect turn and point the gun at the deputies prior to the shooting.

“The video is just one piece of evidence that’s going to be examined as part of a comprehensive, long investigation and that’ll be analyzed against the physical evidence, the witness statements and the deputies’ statements,” LASD Lt. Eddie Hernandez said.

New Report – Police Could Not See Gun When They Killed Tamir Rice

According to a new investigative report, 12 year old Tamir Rice did not have a gun or even a pellet gun in his hand when police pulled up and gunned him down at a recreation center in November 2014.

And the various reports that said Rice was killed  2 to 3 seconds after police arrived on the scene are wrong. According to this new report, the 12 year old boy was killed one second after the police car stopped a few feet away from him.

Tamir Rice did not have enough time to remove his hands from his pockets before being shot, and his hands weren’t visible to the officer, according to the analysis released late Friday night by attorneys for Tamir’s family.

The new report and two others from experts already used by the family are the latest analysis of evidence to be released as a grand jury considerswhether to bring charges against the officers in Tamir’s death. The boy was shot after authorities received a report of a man pointing and waving a gun outside a recreation center in November 2014.

Previous reports concluded that officer Timothy Loehmann shot Tamir within 2 seconds of opening his car door. The new analysis determined it happened even faster, within less than a second, according to the review by California-based shooting reconstruction expert Jesse Wobrock.

Warning! The video below is graphic!

San Francisco police responded to a report of a stabbing and met this man on the sidewalk with a knife. The man, a 26-year-old named Mario Woods, is seen on the video surrounded by six police officers, still holding a knife in his hand. Police say the man refused to obey commands to drop the knife and was shot after he began walking in the direction of one of the officers.

Police say Woods is responsible for the stabbing of another man in the shoulder. That incident, according to police, happened about an hour before the encountered Woods.

Dashcam Video of Laquan McDonald’s Murder Released – Video

Officer Jason Van Dyke

It took a year! I’ll say that again, the Chicago police sat on this video for a year under the guise that they were conducting an internal investigation. But now, following the orders of a judge, the video showing the murder of Laquan McDonald is released.

Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke is credited with this killing and received a 1st degree murder charge for shooting 16 rounds into Laquan’s body as he laid dead on the ground. Van Dyke turned himself into police custody today, but when this incident happened a year ago in October 2014, the police union said that Laquan “lunge” at the officers and was shot one time.

Of course, eye witnesses on the ground denied that claim.

“To watch a 17-year-old young man die in such a violent manner is deeply disturbing,” Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez said. She called the video “graphic,” “violent” and “chilling” and said it “no doubt will tear at the hearts of all Chicagoans.”

She goes on to say that Officer Van Dyke was on the scene for less than 30 seconds when he shot 16 bullets into Laquan. Alvarez also said that the officer began “shooting 6 seconds after getting out of his vehicle.” and that 13 of the shots were done when Laquan was on the ground.

WARNING, Video contains disturbing images!

Video of Laquan McDonald’s Shooting Could be Released Pending Judge’s Ruling

Chicago police may be forced to release video that is said to show an officer shooting a black teenager 16 times, WGNTV reports.

A Cook County judge is expected to decide Thursday whether to order police to release dashcam video of the October 2014 shooting death of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald.

Police have said McDonald refused to drop a knife when officers confronted him while responding to a call about a person walking down a street with a knife.

An attorney for McDonald’s family who has seen the video says the footage shows the teen was holding a small knife and walking away from officers when one officer opened fire.

A freelance journalist requested the footage in a public records request. Judge Franklin Valderrama has said he would announce his decision Thursday.

Report – Father Had His Hands Up When Police Killed His 6-Year-Old

Why am I not surprised.

Police body camera video shows the
father of a 6-year-old autistic boy had his hands up and posed no threat as police opened fire into his car, severely wounding the motorist and killing his son, the man’s lawyer said Monday.

“This was not a threatening situation for the police,” said Mark Jeansonne (ZHAN’-sawn), the attorney for Chris Few, who remained hospitalized Monday and could not attend the funeral of his son, Jeremy Mardis.

Jeansonne spoke with The Associated Press after a closed hearing in a Louisiana jail where he said the two local marshals were ordered held on $1 million bonds. Derrick Stafford, 32, of Mansura, and Norris Greenhouse Jr., 23, of Marksville, are both charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.

The lawyer said he still hasn’t seen the video, but its contents were described to the judge during the hearing.

Black American Seeking Refuge in Canada Because of Police Brutality – Video

It has come down to this!

Kyle Lydell Canty, 30, crossed into B.C.’s Lower Mainland in early September of 2015, telling border agents that he was here to visit and take photographs, but once in Vancouver decided he would apply to remain as a refugee.

“I’m in fear of my life because I’m black,” he told IRB member Ron Yamauchi in a hearing on October 23rd in Vancouver. “This is a well-founded fear.”

Canty argues that black people are “being exterminated at an alarming rate” in the U.S. and included examples such as the shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri and the death of Eric Garner in New York City at the hands of police.

Canty represented himself at the hearing, which he applied to have made public, and was commended by Yamauchi at its conclusion, who said Canty had put together a “well prepared case … and argued it as well as it could be.”

Canty submitted a significant evidence package to the IRB including videos, media reports and the UNHCR’s handbook on determining refugee status.

In order for someone to be called a refugee in Canada, they must prove they are in danger in their home country, “that you’re someone with a well-founded fear of persecution in your country, based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group.” said Melissa Anderson. who speaks for the IRB.

Born in New York, Canty has lived in six different states before arriving in Canada, a country he says he’s never been to before.

Officers Charged with Second-degree Murder in Killing of 6 Year Old

The 6 year old was shot 5 times and died. And the two police officers responsible for his death were charged with second degree murder.

Norris Greenhouse Jr., 23, and Derrick Stafford, 32, were charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in the shooting in the city of Marksville on Tuesday, Col. Mike Edmonson said during a news conference late Friday. Jeremy Mardis was killed and his father, Christopher Few, was left in critical condition.

The shooting happened when the two city marshals allegedly opened fire on a vehicle following a pursuit, said Edmonson.

“That little boy was buckled in the front seat of that vehicle and that is how he died,” Edmonson said Friday.

Edmonson called body cam footage showing the shooting “the most disturbing thing I’ve seen.” The video will likely not be released until the officers’ trials, Louisiana State Police said Saturday.

Youngest Victim of Police Shooting – A 6 Year Old Killed, Shot 5 Times by Police

As of Thursday morning, at least 834 people had been shot and killed by American police officers so far this year, the Washington Post reports.

Six-year-old Jeremy David Mardis is the youngest among them.

The autistic first-grader was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car being driven by his father, Chris Few, in Marksville, La., when city marshals attempted to serve the man a warrant about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Few fled, eventually turning down a dead-end street.

Police say Few then attempted to back his vehicle out, striking officers’ cruisers, prompting a hail of gunfire that left him hospitalized.

An official briefed on the shooting said that Few was unarmed when two officers opened fire, shooting between 13 and 18 bullets combined. That official said it is unclear if the shooting was captured on camera.

“Days like these I wish I was a plumber,” said L. J. Mayeux, the Avoyelles Parish coroner. “These last two days have been bad, and it’s getting worse.”

Five of the officers’ bullets pierced Jeremy’s body, Mayeux said, with the two fatal shots hitting him in the head and chest.

Fox News Contributor – BlackLives Matter “Will Join Forces with ISIS”

He is a regular face on Fox News especially when Fox is looking for a black person to talk bad about other black people. And he has called the BlackLivesMatter movement all sorts of names in the past. So him saying “Black Lies Matter will join forces with ISIS to being [SIC] down our legal constituted republic…” is nothing strange. Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. is just saying what he is getting paid to say.

Today, Fox’s favorite black sheriff took to his twitter account and tweeted this;

Church Drummer Killed by Police as he Waited for Help on Highway

It was early Sunday morning when his car broke down at the side of the highway. As he waited for help to arrive, he was shot and killed by a police officer.

For this story let’s go back to Florida.

Just hours before the fateful encounter, 31 year old Corey Jones – a well known Church drummer in Florida – had just wrapped up a gig with his band, Future Prezidents, and was on l-95 heading home to Boynton Beach when his car broke down. Corey never made it home, as  his life was permanently interrupted by Palm Beach Gardens officer, Nouman Raja.

Raja claimed that he stopped to investigate the car at the side of the road when he was confronted by an “armed subject.” Of course, Corey’s side will never be told.

“As the officer exited his vehicle, he was suddenly confronted by an armed subject,” Officer Ellen Lovejoy wrote in the release on Monday. “As a result of the confrontation, the officer discharged his firearm,” resulting in Jones’ death.

Police haven’t specified what type of weapon Jones had. And additional details about what led to the shooting haven’t been disclosed, pending an investigation.

The whole incident has left Jones’ family demanding answers.

“He was sitting on the side of the road and got shot,” said Jones’ uncle, Sylvester Banks Jr., of Clearwater. “We didn’t find out about it until about 12 hours later.”

Raja has been placed on paid administrative leave, per department policy. He has been with the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department since April, after working with the Atlantis Police Department, state records show.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting
