Rick “Oops” Perry Gets It Wrong… Again

He was giving a speech in Louisiana, but he told the crowd that he was in Florida.

The exchange;

“There are many other states that embrace those conservative values, the approach that we’ve taken over the years… I’m in one today in Florida. You look at South Carolina, you look at Florida.”

“You’re in Louisiana!” an audience member shouted.

“I know,” Perry responded. “And I said that. I’m in one of those states that reflect those today in Louisiana,” he deadpanned, drawing audience laughter and applause.

“You got that,” another individual said.

“I got that,” Perry replied. “But I’m from Texas, so let’s start there.”

Rick Perry ended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination and endorsed Newt Gingrich this morning, saying he saw “no viable path forward” after his dwindling support took him from front-runner status to dead last.

Perry entered the GOP race as a breath of fresh air to many conservatives who hoped for a suitable candidate to oppose Mitt Romney, but after a few bad debate performances and bad finishes in Iowa and New Hampshire, he sank in the polls, and his supporters began to give up.

In South Carolina, Perry was polling in last place, in single digits, before the primary on Saturday.

Herman Cain Has His Oops! Moment, Minus The Oops! – Video

It must be something in the water these Republican presidential candidates are drinking. Last week it was Rick Perry experiencing a brain freeze… wait a second, you need a brain to have a brain freeze. Let’s not call what Perry had a brain freeze. Let’s call it his oops! moment.

This week, it’s Herman Cain having his oops! moment. Cain was asked if he agreed with President Obama’s decision on Libya. You will remember President Obama joined with NATO forces and assisted the “rebels” in ousting Muammar Gaddafi. Everyone in the world had an opinion on that crucial matter, except Herman Cain, who stared into space for an eternity before asking for help. He was slick though – he asked the interviewer to elaborate on the question, giving him more time to formulate his eventual no-answer.

Oops! Rick Perry Did It Again – Video

OMG!

Rick Perry might as well pack it up and leave the race for the Republican nominee. As a matter of fact, after tonight’s performance in the debate, he might as well pack it up and leave America. I’m sure we produce more intelligent people in this country to run as a presidential candidate than the Rickstar… well, with the exception of George Bush.

This was a planned debate. Every Republican contender knew that on November 9th, 2012, they would be on stage and asked to describe why they and their policies are different from those of their fellow Republican competitors. Every other contender studied, dotted their i’s, and crossed their t’s. They had their talking points down and were able to spew their nonsense without even thinking, but what exactly was Rick Perry doing to prepare?

Apparently, absolutely nothing if he simply couldn’t remember his own three policy proposals.

And this man wants to be president of the United States? HAH!!!
