Here’s the Statement from Toronto’s Mayor Rob Ford

The embattled crack pipe mayor of Toronto was found indulging with another crack pipe and this time, like all the other times, there’s a video tape.

Ford, realizing that he is once again caught with his hands in the cookie jar, admitted himself to rehab.

He released a statement.  Here it is:

For Immediate Release

April 30th, 2014

Tonight I want to take some time to speak from my heart to the people of Toronto. It’s not easy to be vulnerable and this is one of the most difficult times in my life. I have a problem with alcohol, and the choices I have made while under the influence. I have struggled with this for some time.

Today, after taking some time to think about my own well-being, how to best serve the people of Toronto and what is in the best interests of my family, I have decided to take a leave from campaigning and from my duties as Mayor to seek immediate help.

I have tried to deal with these issues by myself over the past year. I know that I need professional help and I am now 100% committed to getting myself right.

I love the people of Toronto, I love being your mayor and I hope you will continue to stand by me.

With the support of my family, friends, professionals and the people of Toronto, I will conquer this.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers during these difficult days ahead.

I just want to say to the people of Toronto that I thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement. I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate it.

Mayor Rob Ford

Report: 70 Bags if Heroin Found on Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Home

The NYPD reportedly found 70 bags of heroin labeled “Ace of Spades” or “Ace of Heart” in the apartment of Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was discovered dead of a drug overdose yesterday morning. Police have launched a citywide hunt for Hoffman’s drug dealer.

“An internal email went out to all supervisors asking if anyone has had any experience with those brand names of drugs,” a law enforcement source told The New York Post. “They’re going to try to find the source.”

Using something called a “nitro dump,” police hope to narrow down the dealer’s location. From the Post:

“Basically what that is, is any time we make a narcotics arrest we include the brand name on the arrest report and store it in our system so our investigators can see where those brands are being sold,” the source explained.

Once they determine a location, they can zero in on the dealer or dealers selling that particular brand.

Authorities – Drugs Found on Justin Bieber’s Tour Bus

The name of his tour is “Believe,” like I believe that this kid is officially out of control based on his recent antics and the so-called “friends” he hangs out with. An intervention may be necessary.
Justin Bieber tweeted “I’m a lucky guy” on Tuesday morning — and it may have been because he narrowly escaped a drug bust over the weekend.

The embattled pop star’s Believe Tour has been riddled with headline-grabbing bad boy antics since the beginning, the latest of which came Sunday as Bieber was on his way to perform in Detroit.

U.S. border agents found marijuana on one of the “Baby” singer’s tour buses as it crossed into Detroit from Windsor, Canada — but Bieber wasn’t on it.

The bus was stopped as it attempted to enter the U.S. on the Ambassador Bridge, U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Ken Hammond confirmed to the Detroit Free Press.

Medical Official – Drugs Led To Kriss Kross Rapper’s Death

Chris Kelly

And his mother confirmed that Chris Kelly used cocaine the night before he died.

Investigator Betty Honey of the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office in Atlanta said Monday that a toxicology screening showed the 34-year-old Kelly had a mixture of drugs in his system when he was pronounced dead on May 1. However, Honey said she did not know which specific drugs Kelly had used.

A police report says Kelly’s mother told investigators her son used cocaine and heroin the night before he died and had a history of drug abuse.

Kelly, known as “Mac Daddy,” performed alongside Chris Smith, known as “Daddy Mac,” in the early and mid-1990s. The duo was remembered for the song “Jump” from their 1992 debut album, “Totally Krossed Out.”

The Parenting Extremes

For as long as I can remember I’ve had complete freedom when it comes with what I can do with my life. My parents have rarely, if ever, said I can’t do something or hang out with certain people. For as long as I can also remember, I’ve never met parents that are anywhere near as lenient as my parents; many of my friends parents hover over them in one way or another.

My parents didn’t think twice letting me drive and take my friends to play paintball

If you ask my parents why they give me such freedoms, their answer will be that they trust me completely. I’ve never given them a reason to not. I don’t come home drunk or on some drug(s), do reckless things, hang out with the wrong crowd, or be a total numb skull. This trust is what lets me leave late at night, come home even later, have my own car, promote for clubs, sleep over a girlfriends house and hang out with friends they have never met.

Now you may think my parents aren’t involved much in my life if they give me such freedom but, that would be wrong. I love hanging out with my mom and though I can be seen as a tougher kid, I’m not ashamed to say that. Sure me and my dad may get on each other nerves sometimes but, we still have a lot in common that keeps us close. I really do enjoy being around my parents and hanging out with them both.

I was trusted with a car as soon as I got my license

On the other side of the spectrum, most of my friends parents still have a tendency to hover over them as if they’re twelve years old. Their parents control who they hang out with, don’t trust them when they’re out, check in on them constantly, to sum it up they baby their teenage son or daughter. They seem to shelter their kid from the world as much as they possibly can, the same world they’ll one day be on their own to live in.

Ask these teens if they can’t wait to get away from their parents thanks to college or to just be able to move out one day and they will all say “yes!” These same teens usually go totally rebellious once they are free of their parents since they can finally choose their own life to live.

I am not a parent nor am I claiming to be one in anyway. I’ve never raised a kid and don’t plan to for many years to come. I am only a product of how I was raised by my parents; I was raised in a way that I believe every kid should be as well. We all need to be able to experience the world when we’re young, the world we will one day be on our own to live in.

A-Rod Had No Intention Of Stopping

Friday morning, the Miami New Times again released information regarding Alex Rodriguez and his steroid use. Sources say A-Rod was spending $14,000 a month on steroids and was injected regularly by the head of Biogenesis of America, Anthony Bosch. Bosch has publicly denied treating Alex.

Sources also revealed to the Miami newspaper that A-Rod had an agreement in place with Bosch that would have Alex paying $12,000 a month for the next 4 years. Proof that Alex had no intent to stop what he was doing any time soon. Clearly, A-Rod does not trust his own level of talent. It also stands to reason that Rodriguez has likely used PEDs for almost all his career.

Alex again denied allegations Friday through a spokesperson. The evidence released was very damning to Rodriguez.

In a letter obtained by the Miami New Times from the BoA director, Anthony Bosch claims that Melky Cabrera owes him $14,000 including “a $5,000 bonus for making the All-Star Team.” The letter was addressed to Juan Nunez, a consultant who worked for agents Sam and Seth Levinson of ACES. ACES is the agency that handled Cabrera.

The Levinsons are currently under investigation by MLB but have been cleared by the players union. Juan Nunez has since been fired from ACES and could not be reached for comment.

Lance Armstrong In 2001 Nike Ad – Denied Taking Performance Drugs

Lance Armstrong is expected to finally admit to Oprah what everyone has known for years, that he used performance enhancement drugs throughout his cycling career.

But the Daily Caller is taking us back to 2001, a time when we all thought Armstrong was on something. In the Nike ad, Armstrong answers his critics, telling them that the only thing he was on, was his bike.

”Everybody wants to know what I’m on. What am I on? I’m on my bike busting my ass six hours a day. What are you on?”

No one knew at the time that “Bike” was just another name for PEDs.
