Donald Sterling Vows – “I Will Never, Ever Sell This Team” – Calls His Wife a “Pig!”

Loose cannon Donald Sterling vowed in court on Wednesday to fight the NBA will all his might until his dying day. The racist Clippers owner was forced out by the league for violating owner’s rules and for being a total racist. In a deal reached by his wife to sell the team, Sterling said emphatically that selling is not happening!

Donald Sterling denounced his wife, her lawyers and the NBA from the witness stand Wednesday, saying he would never sell the Los Angeles Clippers and vowing a lifetime of lawsuits against the league.

“Make no mistake today,” Sterling shouted toward the end of his second day of testimony in the trial to determine his wife’s right to make a $2 billion deal to sell the Clippers, “I will never, ever sell this team and until I die I will be suing the NBA for this terrible violation under antitrust.”

He was followed to the stand by wife Shelly, who tried to approach him in the front row of the courtroom after she was done for the day.

“Get away from me, you pig!” Sterling shouted.

The judge then admonished him to make no further comments.

Can He Be Converted? Donald Sterling Attends Black Church Service

Donald sterling recently made news for telling his girlfriend not to bring black people to his basketball games. The owner of the Clippers was quickly rebuked by the NBA find, and is now being forced to sell his team.

Last Sunday, Sterling,  known now for his racist statements and actions against minority, went to Zion Missionary Baptist Church – a predominantly black church in South Los Angeles. The invitation came from the pastor of the church and reports say Sterling was warmly welcomed by the congregation.

When asked what he thought of the service, Sterling said it was “beautiful.”

Although God works miracles, converting this lifetime racist may be a lost cause.

Steve Ballmer

TPM reports that former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has agreed to buy the Los Angeles Clippers for a record-breaking $2 billion. Now it’s up to others whether the deal goes through.

Shelly Sterling said in a statement issued late Thursday that she’d signed a binding contract for a sale of theClippers by The Sterling Family Trust to Ballmer in what would be a record deal if approved by the NBA.

Ballmer “will be a terrific owner,” Sterling said, “We have worked for 33 years to build the Clippers into a premier NBA franchise. I am confident that Steve will take the team to new levels of success.”

Donald Sterling Calls President Obama “Flippant”

Besides being a total racist, I knew there was something else about Donald Sterling I didn’t like. And now I know what that something is.

In yet another interview, Sterling decided to take on President Obama, calling the president’s response to his racist statement was “flippant.”

“I think that was such bad judgment on his part to make a flippant comment from Malaysia.”

Of course you remember the comment the president made. When asked about Sterling’s racist comments, when he requested that his girlfriend refrain from bringing black people to his LA Clippers games, the president replied, “When people — when ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don’t really have to do anything, you just let them talk. And that’s what happened here.”

A reason of a statement as far as I can tell, but Donald sterling apparently thinks it was disrespectful of the president to answer a question posed to him.

Thinking the president was disrespectful? Yeah, that’s how you make friends Mr sterling.

Donald Sterling Blames “the girl” For his Racist Statements

It is never the racists’ fault,  someone else is always to be blamed. In an interview with CNN, Sterling’s scapegoat was “the girl” who recorded his racist rants.

“I’m not a racist. I made a terrible mistake,” Mr Sterling told CNN. “I’m here to apologise.”

“When I listen to that tape, I don’t even know how I can say words like that,” he said. “I don’t know why the girl had me say those things.”

Sterling, the present owner of the LA Clippers, was recently banned from the the day to day activities of the team and the NBA is currently going through the process of removing him as team owner. But the 81 year old Sterling has decided to fight to maintain ownership, and feels that his past will help him regain ownership.

“I’m a good member who made a mistake,” he said. “Am I entitled to one mistake, am I after 35 years? Am I entitled to one mistake? It’s a terrible mistake, and I’ll never do it again.”

Oncoming Legal Fight, As Shelly Sterling Insist on Keeping Ownership of Clippers

Shelly Sterling and Donald Sterling

Donald Sterling may be banned for life from the NBA and the Clippers, but not his wife. Shelly Sterling has hired a lawyer and is planning a legal fight to keep her hold on the team.

According to ESPN.

Shelly Sterling has been a co-owner of the Clippers with her husband since 1981 and is one of two alternate governors. The other, team president Andy Roeser, began an indefinite leave of absence Tuesday. The team is owned by a family trust.

“Commissioner Silver made it clear, that when he announced sanctions against Donald, that the NBA was taking no action against me or my family,” Shelly Sterling said in a statement given to ESPN.

She has hired attorney Pierce O’Donnell to represent her interests as the league moves to terminate her husband’s ownership of the team.

“She will not agree to a forced or involuntary seizure of her interest,” O’Donnell said Thursday. “As her lawyers we will fight vigorously to defend her property rights.”

O’Donnell also told The Associated Press that Shelly Sterling has been separated from her husband for the past year and is considering divorce.

Leon Jenkins came under fire after it was made known his chapter honored Donald Sterling.

NAACP interim President and CEO Lorraine Miller has accepted the resignation of the Los Angeles chapter president after questions surfaced as to why his branch honored beleaguered L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver banned Sterling for life Tuesday after revelations surfaced regarding Sterling making numerous statements denigrating black Americans.

In a letter of resignation, L.A. chapter President Leon Jenkins wrote, “Please be advised that the legacy, history and reputation of the NAACP is more important to me than the presidency. In order to separate the Los Angeles NAACP and the NAACP from the negative exposure I have caused the NAACP, I respectfully resign my position as president of the Los Angeles NAACP.”

STERLING SCANDAL: Clippers owner could use divorce to avoid sale

Jenkins has come under fire from the public in recent days after it was made public that the chapter honored Sterling with a lifetime achievement award in 2009 and planned to do so again this month. Published reports indicated that Sterling had donated $45,000 to the chapter since 2007.

Earlier in the week, Jenkins told a press conference that the donations came to “an insignificant amount” and the chapter planned to return the money.

The NAACP said in its statement Thursday that its national office in Baltimore is developing guidelines to assist branches in their award selection process.

Conservatives Now Lining Up to Defend Donald Sterling

We all knew this was going to happen. No matter what the situation, no matter what the cause, Republicans and conservatives always find themselves on the wrong side of every issue.

And you knew it was just a matter of time before racist Donald Sterling found support from the Conservatives. That support began Tuesday with a theory from a caller to the Rush Limbaugh radio program.

It is the caller’s belief that the whole issue is a plot to take the team away from Donald Sterling. The caller who identified himself as Niel, said that he hopes people rally around Sterling and of course, his theory found favor with the conservative host. The conspiracy was born.

“Whoever set this up is really good. They covered every base. They’ve got the media wrapped around their little finger,” radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday according to a report by Talking Points Memo.

“This is a fascinating theory. And, Neil, I’m glad that you held on through the break so I could dig deep, explore further,” he said, crediting the caller for the theory. “You know, you got it.”

Conservative blog Daily Caller reporter Patrick Howley questioned Magic Johnson’s involvement in the scandal. Below are some of the tweets from Howley:

And Allen West thinks Donald Sterling is being used to distract the world from the Fox News made up conspiracy called… Benghazi.

Yes, somehow you knew they would include Benghazi in the whole Donald Sterling fiasco.

West admitted that what Sterling said was deplorable, but… “But what is really concerning,” he continued, “as I listen to the sound-bite montage that you played, where is the outrage of the public? The outrage of the public seems to be totally focused on Mr. Sterling but, you know, you’ve got this thing with Benghazi and we have an even bigger lie, an even bigger deceit, which is even more impactful on the country that no one is really caring about.”

And… FREEDOM…

Fox’s Bill O’Reilly – Racism is “an individual problem, not a Country problem”

Well, what else do you expect from Fox? This is their message – that racism is dead and whatever little slither there is left, belongs to that slither along. This message is supported by racists and further underlined by the Supreme Court in last week’s Affirmative Action ruling. These folks really think racism is dead!

This House Republican Lied – Said Donald Sterling Is A Democrat

By now the entire world knows who Donald Sterling is – a verified racist who have been sued for his racist ways, and currently the owner of the LA Clippers.

Oh yea, Donald Sterling is also a registered Republican.

That last fact however, was either entirely missed by Republican Representative Sean Duffy (R-WI), or it was intentionally misused as an effort to distance the Republicans from racism – a feat that’s almost impossible to achieve considering some recent activities of the party.

In any case, Duffy was at a House Financial Services Committee hearing and felt the need to broadcast the lie that Sterling was a Democrat.

“We’ve all heard of the comments that were recently made by Mr. Sterling from the LA Clippers,” Duffy said, then he added, “who is a Democrat — made absolutely offensive comments.”

Again, Sterling voter registration says otherwise.
