The star is releasing a special collection of live performances titledLive at The Jazz Cafe, London.
Recorded in 1995, the six-track EP was only available in Japan, but on March 25 Virgin/UMe will release Live At The Jazz Cafe, London: The Complete Show, featuring the original six songs plus five previously unreleased performances. Talk about exclusive!
Complete with an updated version of the original Japanese EP cover art and a brief 1995 interview with D’Angelo, the record that was once a sought-after collector’s item is now being issued in the U.S. for the first time.
The jazzy set lets fans relive the raw sound of D’angelo as he was just breaking onto the scene.
