Can you say “Family Values?” Another Republican caught with an Ashley Madison account, but this time, he has a very creative reason.
According to the Executive Director for the Louisiana Republican Party, Jason Dore, his membership with the website whose main function was providing members with the opportunity to cheat on their spouse, was not for cheating purposes, but for “opposition research!”
Good one Dore, good one!
Jason Doré told the Times-Picayune on Thursday via text message that his name and former personal credit card bill address were used to create an account. A massive database of personal information and data, which included federal employees and military personnel, from the dating website for cheating spouses was released Wednesday by hackers.
“As the state’s leading opposition research firm, our law office routinely searches public records, online databases and websites of all types to provide clients with comprehensive reports,” Doré told the newspaper via text message. “Our utilization of this site was for standard opposition research. Unfortunately, it ended up being a waste of money and time.”
The newspaper reported his account started in 2013 and spent $175.98.
Michael Savage is so in love with Donald Trump, he’s even having dreams about the 2016 Republican presidential candidate.
While explain one of those dreams to his radio audience, Savage admitted that Trump is “getting into my subconscious.” He then said that Trump has made him more proud of himself, because now he can finally say “‘I worked hard, I achieved success, and I’m proud of it.’ I don’t have to hide it when he’s around in my mind. He’s already elevated the psyche of America, he’s already made America greater.”
Savage then gave Trump an assist in attacking Fox’s Megyn Kelly, calling her a “blondie” and “Marsha Washington,” saying that her debate questions helped Trump among women voters — “even black women” — because “they don’t like women putting men down. Most women in America are dying for a man, they are dying for a man to stand up, and I got to tell you something, he seems to be the only man in the campaign.”
The 8 year old boy is identified in court documents as S.R and the little girl as L.G. The grown up in the room is Kenton County Sheriff Deputy, Kevin Sumner and the court documents referenced above is a federal lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and the Children’s Law Center.
In the disturbing video below, the traumatized kid is seen crying, handcuffed above his elbows because his wrists were too small for the restrictive device, and the macho officer – like a hunter circling his lifeless catch – proudly surveys his handy work. Their crime? Misbehaving.
And what makes this scene even worse, as if that is even possible, is the fact that the girl is a special needs child and both kids are diagnosed with ADHD.
According to the ACLU, “Nationally, students with disabilities make up 12 percent of students in public schools, but are 75 percent of the students who are physically restrained by adults in their schools, according to the U.S. Department of Education. These disciplinary practices also feed into the “school-to-prison pipeline,” where children are funneled out of public schools and into the criminal justice system. Many of these children have disabilities, yet instead of receiving necessary educational and counseling services, they are often punished and pushed out.
He couldn’t deny it because the fact is clear. So hours after it was revealed that Josh Duggar, a Conservative icon who was once the Executive Director of the Family Research Council, had an Ashley Madison account, he was left with no option but to admit in a statement that he used the Ashley Madison account to pay for sex and did in fact, cheat on his wife.
‘I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.
‘I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.’
I have brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and fans of our show with my actions.
Duggar was one of 37 million people who allegedly went to the Ashley Madison website with the sole intent of cheating on their spouse.
The former president made the announcement earlier today that cancer spots have been detected on his brain. Mr. Carter also said that he is “perfectly at ease with whatever comes” and that his situation is “in the hands of God.”
While doctors thought an operation performed earlier this month had removed all the cancer in Carter’s liver, an MRI scan later found four new spots of melanoma on his brain. The cancer, Carter said, “is likely to show up in other places in my body.”
So the donald went on Bill O’ Reilly the other night and continued his fight against “illegals,” taking his deportation argument even further with his new stance – even if you’re born here, you can be deported if he becomes president! According to the donald, “illegals” come to this country to have their babies, also called “anchor babies” by many in the Republican party, so these babies, born in the U.S.A, are not Americans.
But O’Reilly wasn’t having that argument and at the end of the interview, O’Reilly fired back at Trump.
“If you’re born here you’re an American. Period. Period,” he said.
Ann Coulter, a strong defender of everything donald apparently missed the interview, but later tweeted that her email was “exploding with denounciations of Bill O’Reilly for interview w/ @realDonaldTrump.”
A minuite later, she tweeted, “Sorry for delay. O’Reilly: “YOU WANT ME TO QUOTE YOU THE AMT? IF YOU’RE BORN HERE YOU’RE AN AMERICAN! PERIOD!” #GoodGodHesStupid
Republican and conservative star Josh Duggar is so loved by those on the Republican side of the bench, he was made the executive director of the Family Research Council. According to its mission statement, the Family Research Council’s purpose is “to champion marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society.” And it was just revealed that Josh Duggar, director of the conservative Family Research Council, had an Ashley Madison account.
In May 2015, Duggar was forced to resign after In Touch Weekly reported that he had molested five young girls (four of whom were his own sisters) beginning in 2002. When the accusations became public, the family went into crisis mode, insisting that Josh had reformed and that the media covering the claims was intent on “exploiting women.”
Josh himself took to his family’s Facebook page to absolve himself of his past indiscretions and assure the world he was back on a righteous path:
Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.
And his wife, for her part, certainly seemed to believe it:
And when you, our sweet fans, first met me when Josh asked me to marry him… I was able to say, “Yes” knowing who Josh really is – someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended. Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right. I want to say thank you to those who took time over a decade ago to help Josh in a time of crisis. Your investment changed his life from going down the wrong path to doing what is right.
But data released online in the wake of the hack on Ashley Madison’s servers certainly seems to show otherwise. Someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary—a home that was consistently shown on their now-cancelled TV show, and in which Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child—paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015.
The video was posted by Gabriel Reilich over at GOOD MAGAZINE, and it shows protesters from the BlackLivesMatter movement having a one on one with the Democratic frontrunner, Hillary Clinton, after one of her campaign events in New Hampshire. GOOD has obtained exclusive video of the exchange between the Democratic candidate and members of the Boston chapter of #BlackLivesMatter, where a somewhat defensive yet candid Clinton responds to several tough questions.
Yes, I have better things to do, but I think it’s important that I let you all know how this Republican presidential nomination thing ends so we can move on from Donald Trump and into more consequential matters.
According to the latest CNN/ORC poll (scroll down to page 7), Trump is leading the pack ‘o candidates with 24% support of the poll’s respondents. The usual suspects follow, although we do have a new rising star in Carly Fiorina who went from 1% support in the July poll to 5% in August’s.
OK.
What this simply means is that one quarter of respondents support Trump. Add up the others’ scores and you have most respondents supporting someone other than Trump. Plus, Trump’s negative ratings outpace his positives by about 30 percentage points. What this also means is that the Republican Party is still in the grips of an extremist bunch who say things like “I support Trump because he tells the truth.”
No, he does not.
He says things that are provocative and media-friendly, and he says them loudly. He has no plan for the country and says that his strength is that he goes into negotiations with flexibility and tries to get the best deal possible. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but the Republican Party has not operated that way for the past 6 years, so I’ll need some clarification as to whether the Tea Party is willing to back Donald knowing that he’ll actually try to bargain with the Democrats. Or the so-called moderates in the GOP.
What Donald Trump has done is to alienate the one group that the GOP absolutely needs to win a national election, Hispanics, and has disrespected the other group that the GOP needs more support from, and that’s women. And the longer Trump stays in the race and has a megaphone, the more he will do damage to the party. Which is good for Democrats. And the latest issue, that of changing the Fourteenth Amendment to disallow the children of undocumented immigrants to have birthright citizenship, is a losing one for the right. So naturally, half the field supports the change.
What’s happening now in the Republican process will have a major effect on the race, and if you want to know what will happen, then please pay attention. The vast majority of the GOP field will make it to the Iowa Caucuses, and each one will get their moment in the media spotlight. Then they’ll say or do something Republicany and fall by the wayside. Trump will not win Iowa. After that, the lowest performing five candidates will drop out. After New Hampshire, another five will go, including NJ Governor Chris Christie, because he won’t win them and he won’t have enough money to conduct a campaign across enough of the remaining states.
By this point, only the most well-funded candidates will still be in the race: Jeb, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Scott Walker, Rand Paul, and perhaps, Trump. They will then duke it out over the next month or so, and by the end of April at the latest, the GOP will have its candidate, and my guess is that it will be Kasich. He will then choose Marco Rubio to be his running mate at the convention.
On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton will win the nomination and choose a Hispanic-American as her running mate.
After that, we’ll see, but you read it here first.
FILE - In this April 9, 2014 file photo, actor Tracy Morgan attends the FX Networks Upfront premiere screening of "Fargo" at the SVA Theater in New York. On Saturday June 7, 2014, a Wal-Mart tractor-trailer driving north on the New Jersey Turnpike slammed into the back of a limousine van carrying actor-comedian Morgan and several others on the way back from a Performance in Delaware. James McNair, a fellow comedian and mentor of Morgan’s was killed, and Morgan and two other companions suffered serious injuries. The accident shone a spotlight on the issue of driver fatigue after a criminal complaint alleged Wal-Mart driver Kevin Roper hadn’t slept in more than 24 hours before the crash. After experiencing a near death accident in which one of his friends was killed, Tracy Morgan is continuing the road back with an appearance on Saturday Night Live on October 17th.
Morgan’s limo was struck by a Walmart truck on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7, 2014, killing comedian James McNair and critically injuring Morgan and three others. In early June, Morgan appeared on TV for the first time since the accident, telling the Today Show that he doesn’t remember the actual crash.
“When I got home, it really hit me,” he said. “Every day I would just watch the accident on YouTube. One day I saw [McNair’s] funeral on YouTube, and I lost it for about a week.”
Morgan, who suffered extensive physical and neurological injuries from the crash, sued Walmart and received an undisclosed settlement in May. The truck’s driver—who hadn’t slept in 28 hours at the time of the accident—faces charges of death by auto.
They love the guy! No matter how low he goes – implying that war-hero John McCain is a coward, demoralizing women with sexist remarks including his most recent attacks on Fox’s Megyn Kelly – Donald Trump still finds a place to call home among Republicans.
In the national survey of more than 1,000 registered voters conducted August 11-13, Trump stands at 25%, one point less than his standing in the same poll before the debate, but more than double each of his competitors. Even with the margin of error at plus or minus three points, Trump’s lead is commanding.
His closest rival in the poll is Ben Carson at 12% (up five points post-debate), followed by Ted Cruz at 10% (up four points). In fourth place is Jeb Bush with 9%, dropping six points from his second place standing before the debate, the largest decrease of any candidate.
