Shut up! Mike Tyson has something to say about Floyd Mayweather!
“He’s a scared man,” Mike said when asked about Mayweather’s comments about Muhammad Ali. “He’s very delusional.”
Tyson cintinued dissecting Mayweather.
Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of greatness with Ali he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself. He can’t take his kids to school by himself, and he’s talking about he’s great? Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people, greatness is being accepted by the people. He can’t take his kids alone to school by himself.
MSN reports that Michael Jordan joined the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in the swelling ranks of the world’s billionaires, according to the annual Forbes’ World’s Billionaires List for 2015.
The 29th annual list, released Monday, showed Jordan jumping on board at No. 1,741, well behind Gates, who remained at the top of the list (net worth $79.2 billion), followed by Mexican telecom mogul Carlos Slim Helu at No. 2 ($77.1 billion) and the Oracle of Omaha, Warren Buffett ($72.7 billion), at No. 3. Microsoft founder Gates has topped the charts for 16 of the past 21 years, Forbes said.
A record 1,826 individuals made the list in 2015, up from 1,645 in 2014, with an average net worth of $3.86 billion, down a smidgen ($60 million) from last year. All told, the lucky few have a total net worth of $7.05 trillion, up from $6.4 trillion last year. The total wealth in the hands of about 1,800 people is roughly equivalent to double the GDP of Germany, Europe’s largest economy. The rising number of billionaires and their expanding assets underscores the growing global wealth gap, which Oxfam sayscould lead to the combined riches of the world’s wealthiest 1 percent overtaking that of the other 99 percent by next year.
A record 197 women made the list in 2015, up from 172 last year. And there were 290 newcomers, like MJ, also a record.
Just weeks after New York Knicks star Anthony Mason suffered a massive heart attack, it is now being reported that one of New York’s favorite Knick, has died.
The New York Knicks say Anthony Mason, a rugged power forward who was a defensive force for several NBA teams in the 1990s, has died. He was 48.
Knicks spokesman Jonathan Supranowitz confirmed Mason’s death, which was first reported Saturday by the New York Daily News.
Mason’s career averages — 10.9 points, 8.3 rebounds — don’t tell the full story of his game. A solid, muscular presence down low, Mason was there to play defense, and on coach Pat Riley’s bruising teams, he could shine.
Mason played for New York from 1991-1996, and then for the Charlotte Hornets until 2000. He made his only All-Star team in 2001 as a member of the Miami Heat, after reuniting with Riley.
Not that anyone really cares what Charles Barkley has to say about politics, but someone did ask and Barkley of course, offered his opinion.
“I am paying close attention to the political situation,” Barkley said, when Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch asked him in a new interview for his thoughts about the 2016 presidential election . “I have always voted Democratic. But I like some of the Republicans this time around. I like Chris Christie. I like Jeb Bush. I like those guys.”
Asked about Hillary Clinton, Barkley laughed and said, “Well, I just told you I was thinking about voting Republican.”
“But I was very disappointed in Chris Christie the other day on the measles thing,” he said, referring to the New Jersey governor’s comments about vaccinations. “It is a shame that these guys are afraid of just answering the question and trying to make everyone agree with you.”
Barkley said he did vaccinate his daughter but did not appreciate how Christie started to change his position once he received “blowback” from the media. “I’m like, dude, your opinion is just your fucking opinion,” he said. “I don’t understand why you answer a question and think everyone is going to agree with you. You can’t live your life like that.”
Beloved New York Knicks basketball star, Anthony Mason, suffered a massive heart attack on February 14th and was rushed to a New York hospital where he underwent four surgeries that same day. On hearing the news, players and fans sent their well wishes to the superstar and his family.
Sports broadcaster Tina Cervasioshared a typed statement from Mason’s son, who updated us on the state of his father’s health:
The fan wrote a very accurate email to the owner of the New York Knicks, criticizing some of the decisions he has made and offering some advice on how he think the Knicks can improve the basketball team.
James Dolan was not trying to hear it, however, and he responded with a nasty email calling the fan an alcoholic, and telling the fan that he should start watching the Nets basketball, because “the Knicks don’t want you.”
Below is the fans email, and Dolan’s response.
Subject: I have been a knicks fan since 1952
At one stage I thought that you did a wonderful thing when you acquired EVERYTHING from your dad. However, since then it has been ALL DOWN HILL. Your working with Isaiah Thomas & everything else regarding the Knicks. Bringing on Phil Jackson was a positive beginning, but lowballing Steve Kerr was a DISGRACE to the knicks. The bottom line is that you merely continued to interfere with the franchise.
As a knicks fan for in excess of 60 years, I am utterly embarrassed by your dealings with the Knicks. Sell them so their fans can at least look forward to growing them in a positive direction Obviously, money IS NOT THE ONLY THING. You have done a lot of utterly STUPID business things with the franchise. Please NO MORE.
Respectfully,
[Aaron Bierman’s dad]

You are a sad person. Why would anybody write such a hateful letter. I am.just guessing but ill bet your life is a mess and you are a hateful mess. What have you done that anyone would consider positive or nice. I am betting nothing. In fact ill bet you are negative force in everyone who comes in contact with you. You most likely have made your family miserable. Alcoholic maybe. I just celebrated my 21 year anniversary of sobriety. You should try it. Maybe it will help you become a person that folks would like to have around. In the mean while start rooting.for the Nets because the Knicks dont want you.
Serena’s win came today against Russia’s Maria Sharapova, and marked her 6th Australian Open win, her 19th Grand Slam victory.
“I’m so honored to be here and to hold this 19th trophy,” Williams said. “I didn’t think it would happen this fast, to be honest, but it feels really good.”
The 33-year-old Williams became the oldest winner of the Australian women’s title in the Open era and moved into outright second place on the list of major winners in the Open era, behind only Steffi Graf’s 22.
So what’s going on here? The Lakers aren’t playing good or something or is it Kobe? Didn’t he just passed Michael Jordan for the third all time leading scorer in the NBA?
In any case, this video surfaced, staring Kobe Bryant in Frozen’s Let It Tank!
And fans of boxing sit on pins and needles, anxiously awaiting a date.
Manny Pacquiao, the Filipino star, who is willing to take a smaller percentage of the purse to push negotiations through, suggested talks are on track to the Manila Standard (h/t Martin Domin of the MailOnline):
“We will make an announcement before the end of the month. I think it will happen,” Pacquiao revealed.
Fans can expect Mayweather’s love affair with Las Vegas’ MGM Grand to continue in a fight worth approximately $300 million. It is widely suggested Pacquiao wishes to battle on May 2 to coincide with Cinco de Mayo, but Miguel Cotto is also expected to face Saul Alvarez in another major box office draw on this date.
The Knicks were in the middle of losing their 14th straight game against Houston, so maybe the boyfriend was not in the mood for a kiss. She wasn’t having it though, as she turned to the next guy and locked lips.
I’m not a Golden State Warriors fan, but this beautiful between-the-legs hesitation move by Stephen Curry in the first quarter of a game against Oklahoma, was straight up bawling!
Maybe I need to pay more attention to this Golden State Warriors team…
