Bobby Brown Denies Rumor that Daughter Bobbi Kristina is Married

Word on the street is that Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina is married to Nick Gordon, but Bobby is not a believer, although the rumor was started by Bobbi and Nick themselves.

Back on January the pair was seen showing off their rings and telling everyone they had tied the knot.

TMZ caught up with Bobby and conducted an impromptu interview the way they always do, and one of the questions had was about the supposed marriage.

Bobby immediately laughed and said, “No, she didn’t get married… she’s still single.”

Asked if a marriage is in the works, Brown said he didn’t know, but he’d give her his full support if she “chose the right one.”

By the end of the interview, Brown said of BK’s possible marriage, “If she says she is, I don’t know about it.”

World’s Tallest Man Gets Married in Mardin Turkey

Ankara (AFP) – Turkey’s Sultan Kosen, at 2.51 metres (eight foot three) the world’s tallest man, has wed a Syrian woman he called the “love of my life”, though he towers over his 1.75-metre bride.

“I cannot describe my feelings in words,” the 31-year-old groom said during the wedding celebration in his hometown in the southeastern province of Mardin on Sunday.

“I am the happiest man in the world,” he was quoted as saying on the website of the state-run Anatolia news agency.

His 20-year-old bride Mervi Dibo, who hails from the Syrian town of Hasaka, added: “I hope this happiness will be long-lasting.”

The groom’s black suit was custom made, requiring six metres of fabric, Anatolia reported.

Born into a farming family in southeastern Turkey, Kosen won global fame in September 2009 when Guinness World Records declared him the tallest man in the world. He was then 2.47 meters tall.

His growth has resulted from a tumor affecting his pituitary gland.

Billionaire George Soros to Tie The Knot for 3rd Time

NEW YORK (Reuters) – George Soros, the 83-year-old billionaire investor, philanthropist and active supporter of liberal political causes, is set to marry health care and education consultant Tamiko Bolton on Saturday at his estate near New York City.

Three days of festivities will begin Friday with a dinner followed by a reception at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan for a preview of the new exhibition, “Magritte: The Mystery of the Ordinary, 1926-1938” of works by Belgian painter Rene Magritte.

Soros and Bolton, 42, plan to exchange vows in a small ceremony on Saturday morning at the Bedford, New York estate, which Soros bought in 2003 from “Jurassic Park” author Michael Crichton. Kimba Wood, a federal judge, will perform the non-denominational ceremony, which will be attended by members of the couple’s families, including his five children, a source familiar with the arrangements told Reuters.

NBA Star LaBron James Now A Married Man

Saturday was a slam dunk for LeBron James, who wed his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, in a super-luxe — and super-secret — ceremony at the Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego.

The Miami Heat All-Star, 28, and Brinson, 27, exchanged vows in front of a select group of family and friends, including the pair’s two children, LeBron Jr., 8, and Bryce, 6, R&B singer Ne-Yo, Heat teammate Dwyane Wade and his girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union, who posted a photo from the wedding with a special message to Instagram.

While it wasn’t exactly an intimate affair, the guest roster was rather conservative by celebrity standards. “[LeBron] cut the list down because he didn’t want to have 1,000 people at the wedding,” a source told the New York Post.

And, according to Us Weekly, those who were lucky enough to make the cut were treated to a surprise performance of “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé and Jay Z, complete with a full band!

James, who has been with his lady love since he was 16, finally popped the question at the Shelborne hotel in Miami on December 31, 2011. Though the two had a long engagement leading up to their walk down the aisle, both threw big blowouts this summer to commemorate their last days of being single. He celebrated the end of his bachelorhood with a bunch of pals in Toronto last month, while Brinson hosted a seven-day bachelorette bash in July that started in Las Vegas before jetting off to Anguilla with a bunch of girlfriends.

Congratulations are in Order for Newlyweds Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto!

Talk about a slam dunk! After five years of dating, former NBA star Michael Jordan, 50, and his model-fiancée, Yvette Prieto, 35, made it official with a wedding in Palm Beach, Fla., on Saturday.

About 500 people arriving by tour buses piled into an Episcopal church called Bethesda-by-the Sea, where Donald Trump was married to Melania in 2005.

Jordan invited another 1,500 to join them for the reception at the Bears Club, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course community in Jupiter, Fla., where Jordan recently built a 38,000-square-foot home.

“They’ve been planning for months and months,” says a source of the nuptials. “He wanted to give Yvette everything she’s ever wanted.”
Jordan, now the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, proposed over the Christmas holidays in 2011. They applied for their wedding license in March at the Palm Beach County courthouse.
On Friday afternoon, they were spotted attending their rehearsal at the church.
Prieto, 35, met Jordan at a Miami nightclub in 2008.
This is the second marriage for the Chicago Bulls legend. He and his first wife Juanita Vanoy divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage, and the couple have three grown children together.
