Vlada Kholod, 13, was filmed being attacked by a gang of four girls at her school in Korkino in western Russia’s Ural Mountains.
She was beaten up and forced to lie on a dirty road, before being made to drink filthy water from a puddle for ‘being too pretty’.

Shockingly, the attack was videotaped by two schoolboys and later uploaded to the Russian social network, VKontakte.
However, after teachers saw the video, Vlada’s attackers were reportedly reprimanded and forced to apologise to their victim.
The assault was carried out by Vlada’s classmates, Olga Guseva, 16, Lyubov Goloborodko, 14, Sasha Rattsova, 15, and Ekatirina Streltsova, also 15.
They claimed the schoolgirl had said something derogatory about one of their parents – and that they had needed to set an example ‘that nobody should curse somebody else’s parents’.

Vlada (above) said she was assaulted because her classmate was jealous about her boyfriend looking at her
However, Vlada later took to VKontakte to dispute claims that she had cursed one of their relatives.
Instead, she said she had been assaulted because Olga had been jealous about her boyfriend apparently looking at her.
Following her attackers’ apology, Vlada verbally denounced the bullies in front of the entire school.
One of her friends said: ‘She was very brave. She faced up to these bullies and they had to eat humble pie.’
According to NRA’s Wayne LaPierre, more guns is the answer to all the shootings and gun crimes in this country. LaPierre will have you believe that criminals only attack places where there is a “no guns” policy in effect.
Well this story just put a bullet right in the heart of that theory – robberies at Gun ranges.
Officials say two suspects – Poteet and Chandler – were involved in two holdups at two different gun ranges — the first at Yury’s Gun Range in Philly’s West Poplar neighborhood and the second at the Delaware Valley Sports Center in the city’s Bustleton neighborhood.
The suspects waited in a parked car, a late model dark colored 2-door coupe, outside of the ranges until potential victims exited.
They robbed a 68-year-old man at gunpoint outside Yury’s at 544 N. Percy St. around 6:40 p.m. June 11, emptying the victim’s pockets and taking off with his backpack, which contained two .22 caliber handguns, according to authorities.
The following day, the pair went to Delaware Valley Sports Center at 101 Geiger Road and pulled off the same heist on an unsuspecting 67-year-old man, who was leaving the range with a friend around 8:40 p.m., according to police.
Officials say they demanded the two men hand over their cash and guns. Even though the victims were cooperating, Chandler fired a shot, striking the 67-year-old and critically wounding him, according to authorities.
The church claims that this is their way of bringing people to Christ. For those who know what the Bible says in reference to bringing people to Christ, giving them AR-15s was not on the list. From what I remember, the Bible says to “preach the Gospel to every creature.”
Apparently this church is tired of the preaching. Time to bring out the heavy artillery.
In Joplin, Missouri, the pastor of the church told the Joplin Globe, “We’re just dudes,” adding, “If we can get more people to follow Jesus, I’ll give away 1,000 guns. I don’t care.”
Myrtle Beach police said Meleke Stewart, 18, and Broderick Roscoe, 18 planned to exchange sex for money with a 34-year-old man on Monday.
Alton Daniels of Shallotte, North Carolina was found dead in his car outside a Days Inn motel early Monday.
Police saw blood on his chest, and said he had been shot multiple times.
Investigators found a cellphone outside the car, and arrest affidavits said the phone contained text messages and phone calls from Stewart and Roscoe. They apparently were the last ones to talk to him before his death.
Myrtle Beach police said the two teens confessed to planning to rob Daniels. In one document, Broderick admitted to standing by while the robbery was going on.
Both men were arrested in Chester, at their own homes.
The historic Bradshaw Cemetery in Houston, Texas was bulldozed without its owners consent and now the family is searching for answers.
Bradshaw, a cemetery dating back to the 1800s and owned by the Nelloms family, was the final resting place for the “bodies of slaves and African Americans who fought in wars and were denied a proper burial…and the family who owns the land say they don’t even know who is responsible,” reportsNews92FM.
“I don’t want to see my grandmother dug up out of the ground,” said Jeremy Nelloms. “There’s no way. I’d die before I’d let that happen.”
Nelloms reportedly approached trespassers who were clearing the land, so they stopped—leaving in their wake desecrated sacred land, heartbroken family members and a mystery.
31-year-old Bianca Tanner of Charlotte, North Carolina, went missing on June 7. According to her boyfriend, Angelo Smith, the two got into an argument on that day, and an inebriated and upset Tanner left the house with a bag and didn’t return. But when speaking to investigators, Tanner’s 3-year-old son said that he hadn’t seen his mother since she was beaten by Smith in their family home.
According to the New York Daily News, Tanner actually moved in with Smith at the end of May after getting a job at a school in Charlotte. But by June 7, she went missing, and after it was reported, investigators spoke to both her live-in boyfriend and her son. The missing person’s case has since become a homicide case, after the 3-year-old told investigators that Smith may have physically abused his mother–and worse. He reportedly said the following:
“Mommy got a spanking with a belt.”
“Angelo kicked mommy’s butt and made her cry.”
“Angelo is mean to mommy and hurt mommy in the face.”
According to the Daily News, investigators are now searching Smith’s home to look for possible blood, any signs of clothes Tanner may have been wearing during an assault, as well as weapons they can take a look at that could have been used in such an attack, including belts and paddles.
All of this is especially scary considering the fact that Smith had a warrant out for his arrest in the past for domestic battery. While living in Arkansas at one point, he reportedly tried to smother an ex-girlfriend during a fight. However, he has not officially been named as a suspect in her disappearance. But according to Tanner’s sister, Cerise Richardson, via a CBS affiliate in Charlotte, Smith is refusing to cooperate with the investigation at this point, and will only talk to police through his lawyer.
“I’m disappointed. He has told me and my family on numerous occasions that he had nothing to do with Bianca’s disappearance and he has been in line with us that we want to bring her home as quickly as possible and safely. And he would do anything to do that, and so far his actions don’t coincide with what he is saying. It’s disheartening.”

I write this letter on the 10th anniversary of the Iraq War on behalf of my fellow Iraq War veterans. I write this letter on behalf of the 4,488 soldiers and Marines who died in Iraq. I write this letter on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of veterans who have been wounded and on behalf of those whose wounds, physical and psychological, have destroyed their lives. I am one of those gravely wounded. I was paralyzed in an insurgent ambush in 2004 in Sadr City. My life is coming to an end. I am living under hospice care.
I write this letter on behalf of husbands and wives who have lost spouses, on behalf of children who have lost a parent, on behalf of the fathers and mothers who have lost sons and daughters and on behalf of those who care for the many thousands of my fellow veterans who have brain injuries. I write this letter on behalf of those veterans whose trauma and self-revulsion for what they have witnessed, endured and done in Iraq have led to suicide and on behalf of the active-duty soldiers and Marines who commit, on average, a suicide a day. I write this letter on behalf of the some 1 million Iraqi dead and on behalf of the countless Iraqi wounded. I write this letter on behalf of us all—the human detritus your war has left behind, those who will spend their lives in unending pain and grief.
I write this letter, my last letter, to you, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney. I write not because I think you grasp the terrible human and moral consequences of your lies, manipulation and thirst for wealth and power. I write this letter because, before my own death, I want to make it clear that I, and hundreds of thousands of my fellow veterans, along with millions of my fellow citizens, along with hundreds of millions more in Iraq and the Middle East, know fully who you are and what you have done. You may evade justice but in our eyes you are each guilty of egregious war crimes, of plunder and, finally, of murder, including the murder of thousands of young Americans—my fellow veterans—whose future you stole.
Your positions of authority, your millions of dollars of personal wealth, your public relations consultants, your privilege and your power cannot mask the hollowness of your character. You sent us to fight and die in Iraq after you, Mr. Cheney, dodged the draft in Vietnam, and you, Mr. Bush, went AWOL from your National Guard unit. Your cowardice and selfishness were established decades ago. You were not willing to risk yourselves for our nation but you sent hundreds of thousands of young men and women to be sacrificed in a senseless war with no more thought than it takes to put out the garbage.
I joined the Army two days after the 9/11 attacks. I joined the Army because our country had been attacked. I wanted to strike back at those who had killed some 3,000 of my fellow citizens. I did not join the Army to go to Iraq, a country that had no part in the September 2001 attacks and did not pose a threat to its neighbors, much less to the United States. I did not join the Army to “liberate” Iraqis or to shut down mythical weapons-of-mass-destruction facilities or to implant what you cynically called “democracy” in Baghdad and the Middle East. I did not join the Army to rebuild Iraq, which at the time you told us could be paid for by Iraq’s oil revenues. Instead, this war has cost the United States over $3 trillion. I especially did not join the Army to carry out pre-emptive war. Pre-emptive war is illegal under international law. And as a soldier in Iraq I was, I now know, abetting your idiocy and your crimes. The Iraq War is the largest strategic blunder in U.S. history. It obliterated the balance of power in the Middle East. It installed a corrupt and brutal pro-Iranian government in Baghdad, one cemented in power through the use of torture, death squads and terror. And it has left Iran as the dominant force in the region. On every level—moral, strategic, military and economic—Iraq was a failure. And it was you, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney, who started this war. It is you who should pay the consequences.
I would not be writing this letter if I had been wounded fighting in Afghanistan against those forces that carried out the attacks of 9/11. Had I been wounded there I would still be miserable because of my physical deterioration and imminent death, but I would at least have the comfort of knowing that my injuries were a consequence of my own decision to defend the country I love. I would not have to lie in my bed, my body filled with painkillers, my life ebbing away, and deal with the fact that hundreds of thousands of human beings, including children, including myself, were sacrificed by you for little more than the greed of oil companies, for your alliance with the oil sheiks in Saudi Arabia, and your insane visions of empire.
I have, like many other disabled veterans, suffered from the inadequate and often inept care provided by the Veterans Administration. I have, like many other disabled veterans, come to realize that our mental and physical wounds are of no interest to you, perhaps of no interest to any politician. We were used. We were betrayed. And we have been abandoned. You, Mr. Bush, make much pretense of being a Christian. But isn’t lying a sin? Isn’t murder a sin? Aren’t theft and selfish ambition sins? I am not a Christian. But I believe in the Christian ideal. I believe that what you do to the least of your brothers you finally do to yourself, to your own soul.
My day of reckoning is upon me. Yours will come. I hope you will be put on trial. But mostly I hope, for your sakes, that you find the moral courage to face what you have done to me and to many, many others who deserved to live. I hope that before your time on earth ends, as mine is now ending, you will find the strength of character to stand before the American public and the world, and in particular the Iraqi people, and beg for forgiveness.
Five teenagers and one 20-year-old could spend the rest of their natural life in prison for the alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl. According to a report by the Waco Tribune, the men where indicted on a total of 91 counts. If convicted, the young males could be sentenced to 1,300 years each.
On April 23, Douglas Canada,19, and Da’Juan Degrate, 18, convinced the 15-year-old girl to cut school at Waco High School. The girl agreed to hang with her classmates at a home, but she soon discovered that four other men where also inside.
Canada took the girl to a restroom and allegedly raped her. The girl told police that after Canada finished, the other males took turns having sex with her in a bedroom.
Along with Canada and Degrate, the other men who were at the home include Devoric Javon Evans, 20; Lamont Tray Davis, 19; Day’tron Derrell Smith, 18; and Cory Darnell Hall, 18.
After the sexual act, Davis drove the girl back to her high school. She reported the assault and was taken to a hospital. Canada faces a maximum of 1,360 years in prison while the others face 1,340 years in prison.
The men face steep sentences because of a Texas law known as “acting in concert.” It makes every person at the scene of a crime responsible for the crime committed.
Roosevelt High School senior Jabre White was doing what so many of us were taught to do, respectfully addressing authority figures, when his teacher responded in one of the least respectful, and most dehumanizing, ways of all.
In a recent interview with The Des Moines Register, White says that, when he politely told his economics teacher Shawn McCurtain “Yes, sir,” the latter corrected him, insisting he “say ‘Yes, master.’”
White stood up for himself, replying, “Who the f— are you talking to? You’re nobody’s master, and this is not the slave days. If you thought it was funny, it’s not.” When he later reported the incident to Roosevelt High School’s white Vice Principal Joseph Blazevich, White claims that Blazevitch “didn’t seem surprised about what the teacher said.” Instead, White says, Blazevich “was more interested in about what I said. He was upset that I dropped the f-bomb.”
After White’s mother asked Blazevich to investigate the incident, however, he did say that it was “terrible” and “shameful,” and claimed that “the instructor was very remorseful.” Nevertheless, it is unclear whether McCurtain has been punished for the way he treated one of his African American students — though he did call White’s mother to apologize for the remark. According to a district spokesperson, McCurtain is still employed by the school district.
Can we now say that conservatives love their guns more than they love life? Really, how can they honestly say that they’re pro-gun and pro-life at the same time?
The Huffington Post reports that since the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, there have been an average of 1.37 school shootings for each school week, according to data maintained by Everytown for Gun Safety, a group fighting to end gun violence.
Including Tuesday’s incident at a high school in Troutdale, Oregon, 74 school shootings have taken place in the approximately 18 months since the Dec. 14, 2012, Newtown shooting. The average school year typically lasts about 180 days, which means there have been roughly 270 school days, or 54 weeks, of class since the shooting at Newtown. With 74 total incidents over that period, the nation is averaging well over a shooting per school week.
Everyone, please be quite. The right-winged media darling and favorite mouthpiece for the Republican and Teaparty movement has a story to tell. Of course he has no facts to back up his nonsense, but that’s exactly how Republicans love their news – as a total fabrication!
Ladies and gentlemen, as per Alex Jones, the shooting in Las Vegas that killed three innocent people along with the two shooters, was a plan by President Obama and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to come and take your guns and also to make the Teaparty look bad.
Go ahead Alex, make a bigger ass of yourself and your Republican colleagues… As if that’s even possible.
So this is what the civilized United States of America has come to.
Instead of doing something simple to curb gun violence, like issuing background checks to act as a deterrent for those with bad intentions, you know, make it harder for lunatics to buy a gun. We are instead, preparing our kids to be sitting ducks in schools with bullet proof blankets.
An Oklahoma company – ProTecht – has developed the blanket made from bullet proof material hopeful that schools would pay the $1000 price tag for the blanket.
The blanket they say, would help protect the child from falling debris in the event of certain natural disasters, but would also help when the mass murderer with his Second Amendment Semiautomatic comes knocking at their classroom door. The only requirement is that the nice murderer stands outside the classroom and wait until all the children are fully covered before opening fire.
And if that’s not good enough news for you, consider this: someone is about to make a lot of money with their bullet proof blankets.
Capitalism at work here folks, there is a need and the market steps forward to address that need!
Chalk up another victory for the NRA and the Republican party.
