Ruling – Officers Who Shot and Killed Darrien Hunt Did Nothing Wrong

Yes, he carried a toy sword in the streets of Utah. But was that a crime punishable by death? Wait. Lemme ask that question this way. Was carrying a toy sword a crime punishable by an execution squad, firing and killing the victim, hitting him in the back as he ran for his life?

That was the outcome for Darrien Hunt when he walked a street in Utah with the sword – in Utah, that is not a crime – and the Utah police disposed of Mr. Hunt as if he were a rabid animal.

And now this: It was ruled that the officers who took Darrien’s life, did nothing wrong.

Back in September, two Saratoga Springs police officers fired a total of seven shots, Utah County Attorney Jeff R. Buhman told reporters, hitting Darrien Hunt, 22, six times — at least once in the back as he ran away. Buhman’s office investigated the Sept. 10 incident for nearly two months.

Buhman told reporters in a televised news conference that the officers had stopped to talk to Hunt, who was carrying the sword in public — which is not a crime in Utah — and that Hunt lunged “abruptly and without apparent provocation.”

The officers opened fire and may have wounded Hunt, who fled with the officers in pursuit. One of them, Cpl. Matthew Schauerhamer, shot Hunt from behind because he feared that Hunt would attack other people, Buhman said.

The shooting, Buhman decided, “was reasonable given Mr. Hunt’s prior unreasonable” attack on the officers.

Hunt was a resident of Saratoga Springs, which is about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City.

Hunt’s family rejected the county attorney’s decision and promised to file a civil lawsuit over the shooting.

Maryland Man Arrested – Charged with Threatening to Behead President Obama

The threat from 42-year-old Christopher Perkins O’Brian of Maryland should be taken seriously. He was previously arrested and served time in prison for strangling and killing 32-year-old Katherine Randolph White in her home.

O’Brian was so pompous, so angry with the President and his family, that he sent his threat to the First Family via the White House’s website and included his phone number in the threat.

According tot he Federal case against him, on October 16th, O’Brian wrote his threat.

“You stupid n——, between ISIS, homegrown terrorists/beheaders here in the USA, and now your inaction on EBOLA, do you want us all to f—— die?!?!,” O’Brien wrote, according to charging documents. “I cannot wait to take out your worthless n—— ass, hope to reach out to slash Michele’s throat… You?? I will make a point to behead you, then throw your head into the nearest body of water, as I drive off into Maryland.”

A U.S. Secret Service agent called O’Brien on a phone number he included in the message, according to court papers filled out by agent Mark Gaskins. Then a pair of agents visited O’Brien at his home and read the email to him, Gaskins wrote. At first O’Brien said he could not recall making any threat, but then changed his story, according to Gaskins.

O’Brien admitted sending the email but then said he would never hurt the president or his family. O’Brien added he was too ill to carry out the threat, according to Gaskins.

“He also expressed regret in sending the email and stated that he was embarrassed,” the agent wrote.

O’Brien appeared in court Thursday, according to records, and agreed to be detained. He was assigned a federal public defender, who declined to comment on Saturday. No one answered the phone number he included in the email threat or at another listed for him in Annapolis.

Police Kills Psychiatric Prisoner While Transporting Prisoner to Hospital

Way to get your name in the news guys, because  doing your job and peacefully transporting a psychiatric prisoner to the hospital is too mundane, no excitement and no one knows your name. But pulling over your patrol car and killing the prisoner? Excitement,  people know your name and you get a paid vacation.

More about Sgt. Scott Cullen and Adam Daniel Lopp.

Sgt. Scott Culler, a Davidson County deputy, said he shot and killed Lopp on the side of Interstate 40 because he was under attack. Lopp, a 41-year-old patient who was involuntarily committed, has no known criminal history — not even an arrest, and other deputies did not report any other trouble with Lopp, according to local reporting by NBC Charlotte.

The Iredell County Sheriff’s office said there was a confrontation betwen Culler and Lopp after Culler pulled over, and that it’s not clear whether the exchange started in the vehicle, which did not contain a partition sometimes used for transport in police cars. Culler called for back-up, but he shot Lopp before other officers reported to the scene. Culler had no injuries. A spokesman for the department declined to comment to ThinkProgress on whether Lopp was armed or was restrained during transport, but there is no indication that Lopp had access to a weapon.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assessing whether criminal charges will be filed, and Culler is on administrative leave.

Halloween Decoration Shows The Lynching of a Black Family – PIC

Yes, the year is 2014 and this despicable display is still considered funny and lighthearted by some. The people displaying the decoration on their property in Fort Campbell Ky. claimed they did not mean to cause any hard feelings with their display.

As you can see from the picture above, three black figures are hanging from a tree. One male, one female and one child. A fourth figure of another child has a knife in its back and is seen on the ground apparently trying to help get the male figure down. The sign carried by the black male figure is not legible in this photo.

Someone in the community took a photo of the display and forwarded it to Clarksville Now. Fort Campbell Public Affairs was also notified and after an investigation was conducted, the owners of the display removed it an offered an apology to the community.

“Displays of an offensive nature are not reflective of Army values and the family-friendly environment provided for employees and residents of the Fort Campbell community,” said Brendalyn Carpenter with Public Affairs.

White House Fence Jumper Screams For Help in Court

He was just the latest test for the Secret Service as he successfully completed the first part of his mission – to jump the White House fence.

But unlike his predecessor who successfully jumped the fence then casually went for a jog around the first floor of the White House, Dominic Adesanya was unable to complete his jog as he was attacked feet away from the fence by the Secret Service dogs.

Today, Dominic had his court appearance and the very same voices that told him to jump the fence told him to scream for help in court.

Dominic Adesanya, 23, of Bel Air, Maryland, began screaming after he was ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation and treatment for the next 45 days.

Adesanya has been charged with two federal offenses: unlawfully entering the restricted grounds of the White House and harming two law enforcement dogs that were released to apprehend him.

Don’t “do this to me,” Adesanya yelled at the end of a five-minute court proceeding as deputy marshals grabbed him in an effort to remove him from the courtroom.

He screamed that he was the victim of “a trap” and “a scheme.”

Deputies succeeded in pushing him through the doorway at the front of the court, but he started screaming for help from the other side and a loud crash could be heard from behind the closed door.

“Somebody help me please,” he said. Deputies could be heard telling him to “calm down” and to “relax, relax, relax.”

The brief court session was to have been a detention hearing. Magistrate Judge John Facciola announced that Adesanya was “presently incompetent” and would be placed in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons for psychiatric treatment. Facciola set the next court date for Dec. 22.

Security Breach – Man Pushes David Cameron in the Street

In an incident reminiscent of the recent Secret Service mishaps surrounding President Obama’s security, England’s prime minister David Cameron, got a taste of what  Obama is dealing with here in America.

Somehow, Cameron’s protection lapsed, as a jogger ran up to him outside of Leeds Civic Hall and pushed him before finally being stopped by the MPS.

A spokesman said: ‘The Metropolitan Police Service is aware of an incident in Leeds today, Monday, 27 October, involving a 28-year-old man and the Prime Minister as he left the Civic Hall.

‘The man was arrested by local officers and was later de-arrested. The MPS Specialist Protection Command is responsible for the personal protection of the Prime Minister and will now conduct a review of the incident in consultation with West Yorkshire Police.’

Mr Cameron spotted the man running up to him and took a step back and to the left before security noticed and bundled the protester to the floor.

Man Shots 13 Year Old 9 Times Because Boy Laughed at Him

Pure insanity – 13-year-old boy was shot and killed Friday evening in Gary by a neighbor who was upset about his house being burglarized and became enraged when the teen laughed at him, according to police.

Kobe Jones died of multiple gunshot wounds near his home in the 1000 block of Polk Street and was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:31 p.m., the Lake County coroner’s office reported.

A suspect is in custody and the residents on the block who know the connection aren’t talking.

“We know there were a lot of people out there when he was ranting and raving, but no one wants to tell us what they saw,” a frustrated investigations Cmdr. Del Stout said Saturday.

Without eyewitnesses who can connect the suspect to the shooting death of Jones, the boy’s 30-year-old neighbor may go free.

New York Cops on Ebola Detail Seen Dumping Gloves in Garbage – Video

While doctors and nurses have been trained to deal with Ebola and the proper way to dispose of protective gear, it seems the NYPD still have some learning to do.

Seen below, two officers working in the vicinity of the first ebola patient’s home, simply removed their gloves and crime scene tape and dumped the objects in the garbage on the sidewalk.

Donald Trump Wants Obama’s Resignation Because One Doctor Has Ebola in NYC

What else can I say about the idiot named Donald Trump that would convey to you how much of an idiot he really is? Well how about this: Donald Trump is now asking for the President’s resignation because a doctor traveled from West Africa to New York, then developed the Ebola virus days later.

Trump, in the vastness of his cranium, took to Twitter moments after it was revealed that a doctor may be infected with the virus and demanded that president’s resignation. Said trump, “If this doctor, who so recklessly flew into New York from West Africa, has Ebola, then Obama should apologize to the American people & resign!”

First of all, the doctor who Trump said “recklessly flew into New York” was not piloting the plane. And, said plane did not hit any of Trump’s buildings during this “reckless” flight. There might have been some turbulence but nothing to classify the flight as “reckless.” Actually, turbulence during a flight is common and quite frankly, expected. His plane did not almost hit the World Financial Center nor did the plane land anywhere near Wall Street. In fact, it was a rather non-eventful flight as nothing out of the ordinary was reported to traffic control. I know, I checked.

Putting the “recklessly flew into New York” claim aside, Trump wants Obama to resign because in a city that has 8.4 million people, one doctor contracted Ebola in another country while he was there helping the less fortunate. In case you forgot, Trump is the same one that said anyone traveling to West Africa to help these victims should “suffer the consequences” of their decision.

The doctor Trump hates so much is currently in isolation in one of the best hospitals in the nation! After he arrived in New York on October 17th, he checked his own temperature twice a day until the first symptoms of Ebola began manifesting on October 23rd. When he saw the signs, the doctor immediately reported his condition and was transported to Bellevue.

But that’s not good enough for the hateful old man named Trump! He apparently wants the doctor to suffer the consequences of his decision and die because he chose to help others. And he wants the doctor to die somewhere in West Africa! And then, he want’s Obama out!

Why stop at resignation Trump, why not call for Obama’s impeachment and possible imprisonment and, AND, maybe you can have him deported after he serves his prison term. Sidenote, you should lock him up for life and then deport him back to Kenya after he serves his life sentence! That’ll teach that Obama!

Trump, you are an idiot, just in case it wasn’t said earlier in this post!

Confirmed – Mitch McConnell is Bussing Supporters Around Kentucky

The Hill obtained an email sent out earlier this month by Mitch McConnell’s campaign,  begging supporters to join them on an all expense paid trip to different events around Kentucky. The supporters are asked to contribute to the “enthusiastic atmosphere” at McConnell’s campaign events.

Yawn!

“Senator McConnell is seeking volunteers to join him on a 3-day campaign bus tour around the state on October 20-22 to show our support for Kentucky coal. You would join local supporters in contributing to an enthusiastic atmosphere at each of his events,” she wrote.

Bussing in supporters isn’t a new tactic for McConnell, who has done it to fill out crowds during his previous appearances at the annual Fancy Farm picnic. Democrats have derided the move, however, as a sign of low enthusiasm for the Republican.

They again charged McConnell’s move to bus in supporters suggested momentum is headed in Grimes’ favor.

“It should surprise no one that Mitch McConnell is left to purchase grassroots support after he and his allies have spent more than $50 million running from his failed 30-year record in Washington. Momentum is clearly on Alison’s side as she draws record-breaking crowds of Kentuckians and runs laps around McConnell’s rusted DC-based campaign,” said Kentucky Democratic Party Chairman Dan Logsdon.

New White House Fence Jumper Identified as Dominic Adesanya – PIC

According to reporting by Buzzfeed, Secret Service identified the suspect as 23-year-old Dominic Adesanya of Bel Air, Maryland. Adesanya was taken into custody by agents after being stopped by guard dogs on the White House lawn around 7:16 p.m. ET. Video from the scene showed a man kicking and punching a dog.

Adesanya was transported to a hospital with injuries after he was taken into custody.

The cause of the incident was not immediately known, and comes in the wake of an incident last month where 42-year-old Omar Gonzalez scaled the fence and made it inside the White House before being apprehended. The security breach ultimately resulted in the resignation of Secret Service Director Julia Pearson.
