Video Shows Police Shooting Eddie Irizarry While He Sat in Car

Originally, police tried to justify the shooting by saying the victim, 27-year-old Eddie Irizarry, exited his car and came after them. But two days later, Police Commissioner, Danielle Outlaw corrected that original report telling reporters that the victim was actually shot while sitting in his car.

Surveillance video showed that happened.

Video shows an officer exiting the passenger side of the patrol vehicle and pulling out a firearm from his belt as he crosses the front of the patrol vehicle and heads toward Irizarry’s car yelling what sounds like, “Show us your hands!” and then “Show me your hands” two times.

Approximately five seconds elapse between the time that the officer gets out of his patrol car, runs over to the driver’s side of Irizarry’s vehicle, and fires his gun what appears to be six times with at least one shot striking Irizarry’s front windshield. While firing his weapon, the officer is heard shouting what sounds like, “Drop the knife!”

As the officer runs over toward Irizarry who’s seated in the driver’s seat, Irizarry is seen pulling up the driver’s side window before the officer shoots inside his vehicle.

The video shows the officer appearing to recoil and run back toward his patrol car as he’s shooting at Irizarry.

Both officers responding to the traffic stop then appear to try to get into Irizarry’s vehicle but the doors are locked. The officers are then able to open Irizarry’s car and then drag him out of the vehicle and place him into the patrol car.

Trump is Upset with Fox News for using the “Big Orange” Picture of him with his “chin pulled way back”

Remember when Fox News was Trump’s best friend? Well, those days are long gone.

Today, Trump seemed to be upset with Fox and Friends for featuring a photo of him that he did not seem to like. He referred to it as the “big orange one” with his “chin pulled way back.” It is unclear why he is particularly unhappy with this particular image.

On his Truth Social site, Trump wrote;

“Why doesn’t Fox and Friends show all of the Polls where I am beating Biden, by a lot? They just won’t do it! Also, they purposely show the absolutely worst pictures of me, especially the big ‘orange’ one with my chin pulled way back. They think they are getting away with something, they’re not. Just like 2016 all over again…And then they want me to debate!”

So, is he saying that the big orange picture of him with his chin pulled way back is not an accurate portrayal? I don’t believe that. I’ll stick with Fox and Friends on this one.

With four indictments under his belt, you’d think he has bigger things to worry about.

Trump Supporter to Judge – “You are in our sights, we want to kill you”

SMH.

Some people, not all, but some people simply cannot separate their politics from basic common sense. I mean, basic! How can anyone think that in the technological world of 2023, they can still make threatening phone calls to a judge… and get away with it?

I guess you have to be a Trump supporter to attempt such a thing.

Abigail Jo Shry called the chambers of Judge Tanya Chutkan on August 5 and left a voicemail message threatening to “kill anyone who went after former President Trump,” according to a criminal complaint.

The death threats also allegedly included racist comments against Chutkan, who is Black. Prosecutors said in court filings that Shry called the judge a “stupid slave n***er” in the voicemail.

Shry is charged with Transmission in Interstate or Foreign Commerce of any Communication Containing a Threat to Injure the Person of Another. She is being held in detention pending trial, according to court documents, and a bond hearing has been set for September 13.

“If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you, so tread lightly, b*tch,” Shry said in the message, according to the complaint. “You are in our sights, we want to kill you.”

Michael Oher’s Lawsuit Claims Tuohy Family “made millions” off his story. Gave him nothing

In recent years, the name Michael Oher has become synonymous with inspiration, courage, and determination. His remarkable journey from homelessness to professional football, famously portrayed in the movie “The Blind Side,” touched hearts worldwide. However, a lesser-known aspect of Oher’s life has come to the forefront.

A recent lawsuit from the 37-year-old retired football player claims that not only was he fooled by the Tuohy family, he was also tricked and financially ripped off.

According to the suit, Oher – who was homeless as a teenager and was taken in by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy – was told he would be adopted by the family. Oher claims he signed paperwork that was presented as adoption paperwork, but was actually a Conservatorship. This conservatorship, according to Oher, allowed the Tuohy to make decisions on his behalf, and take what should have went to Oher.

The petition further alleges that the Tuohys used their power as conservators to strike a deal that paid them and their two birth children millions of dollars in royalties from an Oscar-winning film that earned more than $300 million, while Oher got nothing for a story “that would not have existed without him.”

In the years since, the Tuohys have continued calling the 37-year-old Oher their adopted son and have used that assertion to promote their foundation as well as Leigh Anne Tuohy’s work as an author and motivational speaker.

The 2009 movie about his life called, “The Blind Side,” grossed $300 million when it came out. Sean Tuohy told The Daily Memphian, “We didn’t make any money off the movie.”

Oklahoma Judge tosses Reparations Lawsuit for Black Wall Street Massacre

NPR is reporting that an Oklahoma judge has thrown out a lawsuit seeking reparations for the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, dashing an effort to obtain some measure of legal justice by survivors of the deadly racist rampage.

Judge Caroline Wall on Friday dismissed with prejudice the lawsuit trying to force the city and others to make recompense for the destruction of the once-thriving Black district known as Greenwood.

The order comes in a case by three survivors of the attack, who are all now over 100 years old and sued in 2020 with the hope of seeing what their attorney called “justice in their lifetime.”

Spokespersons for the city of Tulsa and a lawyer for the survivors — Lessie Benningfield Randle, Viola Fletcher and Hughes Van Ellis — did not immediately respond to requests for comment Sunday.

Barack Obama’s Brother – “F Biden” I’m voting for Trump

Donald Trump’s influence has extended even to the Obama clan, as he has now secured the backing of former president Barack Obama’s own brother, Malik Obama.

It should be noted that Malik considers himself a Republican. He is not a fan of his brother, Barack. According to reporting, Malik said, “I don’t get along with him. I think he’s a big disappointment to me because he’s not the same person that he used to be when we were together. It seems like once he became a big shot, it got to his head. And now he thinks that he’s god.”

Somehow, I don’t believe Joe Biden ever craved Malik’s support. It’s just a feeling…

Caitlyn Jenner: “I am a proud American… This is the first time I’ve ever been ashamed of my country”

When news broke of Donald Trump’s fourth indictment, his loyal supporters quickly turned to Fox News to express their unwavering support for the embattled Republican presidential candidate, who now faces a staggering 91 criminal charges.

One of those suspects was Caitlyn Jenner, who apparently felt the need to proclaim her love for the country she’s now ashamed of.

“You know, I am a proud American, I love this country,” Jenner said. “I am a child of a World War 2 veteran, I grew up a patriot, I was the first person to put up a flag of the good ole US of A, why? Cause I was so proud of this country. And I have to say, today, and watching all this come down. This is the first time I’ve ever been ashamed of my country.”

There is a problematic belief among certain Americans that a person’s political affiliation should determine their treatment under the law. This warped ideology puts Republicans on a pedestal above the law, while Democrats are expected to adhere strictly to the justice system.

Such a notion is not only unfounded but also harmful to the very foundations of our justice system. It is imperative that we reject this misguided belief and hold all individuals accountable for their actions, regardless of their political leanings.

Georgia Reveals 4th Indictment Against Donald Trump – Arrest Warrant Issued

Donald Trump’s attempt to pressure Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, into finding enough votes to overturn the election results is a blatant act of election interference. His statement, “I just want to find 11,780 votes,” shows a disregard for the democratic process and undermines the integrity of the election.

Since 2020, a significant amount of evidence has surfaced, resulting in four indictments and multiple charges against Donald Trump. As a result, he is quickly becoming one of America’s most indicted individuals. The latest indictment came from Georgia.

In an effort to hold Trump and his associates accountable, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis addressed reporters and issued a stern demand. She urged them to surrender to authorities by next Friday, following the release of the Georgia indictment.

“Subsequent to the indictment, as is the normal process in Georgia law, the grand jury issued arrest warrants for those who are charged. I am giving the defendants the opportunity to voluntarily surrender no later than noon on Friday the 25th day of Aug., 2023,” she told the press late on Monday night.

“Specifically, the participants in association took various actions in Georgia and elsewhere to block the counting of the votes of the presidential electors who were certified as the winners of Georgia’s 2020 general election. As you examine the indictment, you will see acts that are identified as overacts and those are that are identified as predicate acts, sometimes called acts of racketeering activity,” she said.

Dunkin’ Donuts to Sell Alcoholic Beverages

Yes, you read that right. The establishment will spike their drinks beginning in early September and the alcoholic drinks will include versions of their iced coffee and iced tea.

The reason? Money.

According to NIQ reporting, “sales of RTDs amassed more than $10 billion in US sales over the past 12 months, a 7% increase from the prior year.”

“Like other well known non-alcoholic brands, Dunkin’ wants to capitalize on a built-in audience and established brand equity as it pushes its way into alcohol,” Duane Stanford, editor of Beverage Digest, told CNN. “This trend is just getting started.”

Protestors roll out the unwelcome mat for Ron DeSantis – “Go Back to Florida, Go Back to Florida!”

In this country, we have the right to freedom of speech. The woman in the video below fearlessly exercised that right.

During a recent campaign stop at “Freedom Rock” in Menlo, Iowa. Heather and Kara Ryan met DeSantis’ entourage. Using their trusty bullhorn, the protestors gave the Republican presidential candidate a greeting I’m sure he would never forget. Even when a DeSantis ‘hero’ tried to intervene, she turned the bullhorn inches away from his face and yelled, “Get the F*ck Off Me!”

Ron meanwhile, pretended not to hear, but we all know he did.

Republican Pollster Admits – DeSantis is getting killed on the campaign trail

In a Sunday appearance on CNN’s ‘Inside Politics’, Republican pollster, Sarah Longwell, assessed Ron DeSantis’s campaign and concluded – the Florida governor and current Republican presidential wannabe is getting killed on the campaign trail.

“I have to tell you, he has been getting killed in the focus groups and it’s not even that kind of criticism. We always ask people who do you want to see be the 2024 nominee. And six months ago, Ron DeSantis, he would always come up. He was the first one, if it wasn’t Trump, it was him,” Longwell said.

“People don’t even mention him right now. We’ve had two groups in a row where nobody’s even said his name. They’ve said Tim Scott, they’ve said Vivek Ramaswamy and he’s just not even getting mentioned — there was one guy who liked him. And he said, you know, he’s fine, he’s fine. That is brutal”

“Family Feud” Contestant who murdered wife is sentenced to Life

During his appearance on Family Feud, Timothy Bleifnick indicated that things in his marriage were less than perfect. When asked by the television host, Steve Harvey, “what’s the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?” Bliefnick looked off to the side as if looking at his wife then answered, “Honey I’m sorry, but said ‘I do.'” Steve Harvey, really at a loss for words, was dumbfounded.

The couple later went through a bitter divorce and custody battle and on February 23rd, his ex-wife’s body was discovered by her father riddled with 14 bullets in her home. Timothy was later found guilty of her murder.

At the sentencing on Friday, Adams County Judge Robert Adrian said Bliefnick would spend the rest of his life in prison on two counts of murder and another of home invasion after denying a defense motion.

“Mr. Bliefnick, you researched this murder. You planned this murder. You practiced this murder. You broke into her house, and you shot her one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 times,” the judge said, raising his voice as he counted through each gunshot wound Becky Postle Bliefnick suffered in the second floor of her home. Bliefnick did not live there.

“I don’t know how long it took you to do that, but some of those shots were fired while she was lying on the ground. And you did all of that while your children were upstairs at your house, lying snug in their beds.”

“When you murdered Becky, you took from your boys the person who loved them the most on this Earth,” Bernadette Postle, the victim’s mother, said, reading from a statement as Bliefnick looked on, his back to the courtroom camera. “You replaced their mother’s love with emotional scars and trauma that will last their lifetimes.”

Bliefnick declined to speak when the judge offered him the opportunity after Postle Bliefnick’s family read their victim impact statements to the court.

Police searched his home in early March and found more than two dozen shell casings in his basement that state forensics experts said were fired from the same gun as eight casings recovered at the crime scene.
