One driver, travelling on I-75 in Indiana noticed a driver ahead swerving his car and driving erratically. So the driver, David Kollar took out his camera and began recording. As Koller sped up to get a closer picture of the of the erratic driver, his camera captured a little more than he anticipated. A gun, pointed directly at him.
The erratic driver, a 51-year-old doctor by the name of Perrin Dobyns, rolled his passenger window down, pointed his 9mm to the man holding the camera in the car alongside him and fired. The bullet grazed Mr Koller, but he was not hit.
After police was told of the situation, they showed up at Perrin Dobyns’ place of work – Indiana’s Branchville Correctional Facility. It appeared that the man who shot his 9mm trying to hit the motorist filming him was a doctor at the prison.

Although investigations are still ongoing, the company is sharing details on what they believe could have been accessed. It’s pretty huge!
Seems like the hackers have obtained encrypted data for as many as 2.9 million customers, and while Adobe stresses that the data is encrypted and that they “do not believe the attackers removed decrypted credit or debit card numbers”, that data — encrypted or not — is definitely not something they want to be floating around in the matrix. Neither do Adobe’s 2.9 million customers.
Adobe has yet to disclose how that data was encrypted, so it’s currently unclear just how secure anything really is at this point.

Ted Cruz’s daddy, Rafael Cruz, was selected to give the keynote address at the Adams County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner. And Rafael didn’t disappoint. Those in attendance heard the usual talking points including their fact that President Obama is a Muslim.

Rick Joyner, head of MorningStar Ministries hosted his show “Prophetic Perspective on Current Events” on Monday and determined that President Obama’s presidency was a failure, and that the only hope for this great nation was for divine intervention using military force. Joyner asked God to speak to the good people of the military, in hopes that they would “seize the government!”
“We’re headed for serious tyranny, a terrible tyranny right now,” he continued. “But guess what? The kingdom is coming, the Kingdom of God is coming. And America is not the Kingdom of God. “That’s why I appeal to the Lord: Don’t let us be totally destroyed, please raise up those who will save us. And as I’ve been telling friends for a long time, no election is going to get the right person in there because the system is so broken.”
“And that the most crucial element of that is who to the martial [sic] is going to be,” he said. “I believe there are noble leaders in our military that love the republic and love everything we stand for. And they could seize the government.”
Video has emerged showing the shocking moment a Range Rover driver apparently drove through a crowd of motorbikes as it fled with its family inside for fear of being attacked.
Police have revealed the bikers started to attack the vehicle after the driver, 33-year-old Alexian Lien, hit a motorcyclist.
Apparently fearing for the safety of his wife Roslyn Ng and young child, aged five months, Lien sped off, hitting several bikers in his path.
The video shows Lien hitting another motorcyclist after his Rover was chased by the pack of bikers.

A planned Ku Klux Klan rally at a historic landmark of American history won’t happen due to the federal government shutdown.
The KKK event at Gettysburg National Military Park was canceled due to the government stalemate.
Park officials said they rescinded all permits for special events because of the shutdown that began Tuesday.
The permit had been approved for a Maryland-based KKK group, the Confederate White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, for a Saturday gathering.
Park officials had defended granting the permit, saying they have a responsibility to make the land available for citizens to exercise their right to freedom of speech, even if the views expressed are contrary to those of most Americans.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — A two-decade family feud came to a violent end when a man shot dead the two home invaders that killed his wife and son, not knowing the assailants included his long-estranged daughter, authorities said Sunday.
Though the investigation of Friday’s shootings continues, authorities said it appears Josephine and Jeffrey Ruckinger planned to murder her family at their rural central Pennsylvania home — but it remains unclear what exactly led to the deadly confrontation.
“They parked at the bottom of a long driveway, and walked up, heavily armed,” said Cambria County District Attorney Kelly Callihan.
Josephine Ruckinger was armed with a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun and her husband had a Derringer pistol and a .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun as they approached the Frew family home in Ashville, about 40 miles southwest of State College, according to investigators.
John Frew, his wife Roberta, and their son John Jr., 47, had just returned from dinner out, and were watching TV in the living room of the white mobile home when there was a knock at the door, authorities said.
Police say Roberta, 64, answered the door, and cried out something like “Oh my God, they have guns!” before her daughter shot her at point-blank range. John Jr. then may have attempted to arm himself with a gun, but Jeffrey Ruckinger shot him multiple times in the chest, killing him, police said.
The elder Frew, 67, grabbed a .22 revolver and came out from the bedroom to find the daughter he didn’t initially recognize pointing the shotgun at him. Frew fired once, hitting her in the head, then turned and exchanged fire with Jeffrey Ruckinger, killing him. He then called police.
Josephine Ruckinger was still alive when police arrived, but later died at an area hospital. John Frew was not hurt
I know a few people who would not take walk down the street if there is a negative review about taking a walk down the street on Yelp! They will not eat at a certain restaurant, they will not go to a certain movie theater, they will not shop at a certain store without first consulting Yelp. So to these people I say sorry.
A new report found evidence of fake reporting on Yelp, as much as 1 out of 5. Why? Because companies have figured out that offering people money to write fake reviews on the popular app, sends business their way.
In other words, Real People, but not real reviews!
According to MarketWatch, 20 percent of Yelp reviews are fake, or as Yelp likes to put it, “suspicious.” In a study dubbed Operation Clean Turf, NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman led a year-long investigation that ended in an agreement with 19 companies to cease the practice of creating fake online reviews. The companies also agreed to pay more than $350,000 in fines for false advertising.
Many of these businesses were guilty of paying freelance writers from the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Eastern Europe between $1 to $10 per review. Despite Yelp forbidding the use of paid reviews, a study by Michael Luca, an assistant professor at Harvard Business School, and Georgios Zervas, an assistant professor of marketing at Boston University, reports that fraudulent Yelp reviews rose from 5 percent in 2006 to 20 percent in 2013. The study predicts that the number may have risen to as high as 25 percent, unsettling news for avid fans who use Yelp as a go-to resource.
It’s not enough for Ted Cruz to be wrong, because he is. It’s not enough that he’s offensive, because he is. And it’s not enough that he’s a hypocrite, because he is. The worst part is that he has the whole package, and he’s terribly difficult to listen to. But Ted Cruz represents much more in our era of divided, extremist, conservative government: It’s the end of the line. When people like Ted Cruz make speeches that reference Nazi Germany and compare the present administration to it, you know that the GOP has gone gonzo overboard. This is not a governing party anymore–it’s a collection of conspiracy theorists who happened to win votes in gerrymandered districts and in states where the majority of uninsured people in the United States live, but who have convinced themselves that getting health insurance amounts to treason.
The conservative movement has reached its apogee and is now in its slow, painful, destructive decline. It will bring a good part of the country down with it, but the good news is that at its worst, it only controls the House of Representatives. If it shuts down the government next week, it will lose that in 2014 and if it runs an ultra-conservative in 2016, it will lose that election too.
I’ve heard many pundits and political science professors say that we live in a center-right leaning country, and at this time I’m inclined to believe it. The problem for the Republicans is that they are not center-right: They are far right and represent a minority of the country. Most people don’t want radical change of the sort that the far right is promoting. Many people oppose the health care law for good reason, but to say that it will drag down the economy and that it’s the death knell of our way of life is irresponsible and hyperbolic.
But I guess Ted Cruz had to happen. Even members of his own party are abandoning him. If the shutdown is to be avoided, Democrats in the House will need a bill to support. This is not good for John Boehner or any of the farther rightists.
But it’s the best thing to happen to the country in a while. Perhaps things are finally looking up.
A 66-year-old farmer and “self-proclaimed politician” from the town of Gigante, Huila in Colombia apparently—and “enthusiastically”—took too much Viagra in an attempt to “please his new girlfriend.” According to a local paper, he then suffered an erection for several days before going to a local hospital when the perma-boner began to cause pain.
By the time he was seen by medical professionals, they noted his penis was inflamed, fractured, and showing signs of gangrene. Local doctors were “alarmed by the complexity of the issue” and transferred him to a hospital in Neiva. Neiva doctors, in order to stop the gangrene from spreading to other parts of his body, determined the only option was to amputate the penis. He is now recovering and “doing well.”
The hospital then issued a warning to locals, advising them to abstain from using erection-enhancing drugs to “avoid incidents like this.”
