Man Kills Mistress who Revealed she was HIV Positive

Larry Dunn cheated on his wife and killed his mistress after she revealed that she was HIV positive. According to the Dallas Morning News, Dunn, 37, believed that he would not live long and wanted revenge.

One week after his mistress, Cicely Lee Bolden, revealed that she was HIV positive, Dunn arranged another sexual encounter with her. Dunn admitted that he had unprotected sex with Lee for the last time.

As she laid in bed, Dunn went to the kitchen and grabbed a steak knife. He returned to the room and slashed Bolden’s neck. Dunn told authorities that he believed that she gave him a death sentence and decided to kill her.

When Dunn left, Bolden’s 7-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter discovered her body. The children have been separated and are staying with different relatives. Authorities found Dunn’s number in Bolden’s phone and contacted him.

Dunn was arrested and revealed that he killed Bolden while enraged because he was unsure if he had infected his wife. However, Dunn and his wife have yet to test positive for HIV. Both will have to undergo more tests to get complete confirmation on their status.

Dunn faces two-20 years in prison if convicted.

Zimmerman Nailed Bullet Ridden Bullseye on Wife’s Wall

Shellie Zimmerman, estranged wife of George Zimmerman, alleged Wednesday that he nailed a bullseye to her wall, complete with seventeen bullet holes, after she ordered him to collect his things and move out in early September.

Photos of the target were obtained by Radar Online, which quoted an anonymous source as saying, “This is the photo that Shellie sent to her lawyer and said, ‘Look at the subliminal message George left me,’ following their showdown in September.”

“At the time, Shellie was in New York, appearing on the TODAY show,” the source said. “What Shellie’s mom didn’t notice was the target. Then, when Shellie got home, she went over to the house and discovered the target with bullet holes in various quadrants. There it was…tacked up on the wall of their home office, right between the garage and the kitchen where the domestic incident took place.”

Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce in September, and called the police on her husband for a domestic dispute days later.

Woman Plans to Give “You’re Fat” Notes to Obese Kids This Halloween

And she swears this is not being mean spirited. As far as she’s concerned, she’s looking out for the children’s health abd wellbeing.

Her plan is to give the unsuspecting child a sealed envelope containing a note for that child’s parents.

The letter, which Y94 says was emailed to them by the woman, reads in part:

“You [sic] child is, in my opinion, moderately obese and should not be consuming sugar and treats to the extent of some children this Halloween season.

My hope is that you will step up as a parent and ration candy this Halloween and not allow your child to continue these unhealthy eating habits.”

When asked by the hosts of the show why she didn’t give out toys or stickers instead of candy, the woman, who identified herself only as Cheryl, said she didn’t want to be the “mean lady” in the neighborhood. The woman also said that she doesn’t plan to deny candy to any of the children who visit her house.

“Well really, I just want to send a message to the parents of kids that are really overweight. It’s just, these kids, I can see them and they’re struggling to stay healthy and they want to play with the other kids, and I think it’s really irresponsible for parents to send them out looking for free candy just because all the other kids are doing it,” the woman said.

Corey “Zero” Schaffer, one of radio hosts who conducted the interview, said they plan to follow up with the woman to see if she carried out her plans.

Depressed Man Cuts Off His Penis Because He Couldn’t Find A Girlfriend

This is why we have an WTF section.

A Chinese man frustrated at being single cut off his own penis then, in agony, decided to cycle to a hospital for treatment.

When he arrived doctors told him they couldn’t help save his manhood and ordered him to cycle back home to get the penis before he could be treated.

When Yang Hu, 26, eventually arrived back at the hospital with the severed member, doctors told him that it had been without blood for too long, and it was impossible to reattach it.

Yang’s friends said that he had been increasingly depressed about the fact that since moving to the city he could not find a girlfriend.

What was worse, they said, was that he was doing such long hours in a clothing factory in Jiaxing, in Zhejiang province in east China, that he doubted he would ever have a chance to meet a woman.

His depression grew so bad that after returning home after work at 9pm on October 27 to his rented room he had suddenly decided to cut off his member as there was no use for it anyway, and believing it would stop him thinking about getting a girlfriend.

Incredibly he managed to cycle to the hospital, then cycled home again to collect the severed member and then back to the hospital.

World’s Tallest Man Gets Married in Mardin Turkey

Ankara (AFP) – Turkey’s Sultan Kosen, at 2.51 metres (eight foot three) the world’s tallest man, has wed a Syrian woman he called the “love of my life”, though he towers over his 1.75-metre bride.

“I cannot describe my feelings in words,” the 31-year-old groom said during the wedding celebration in his hometown in the southeastern province of Mardin on Sunday.

“I am the happiest man in the world,” he was quoted as saying on the website of the state-run Anatolia news agency.

His 20-year-old bride Mervi Dibo, who hails from the Syrian town of Hasaka, added: “I hope this happiness will be long-lasting.”

The groom’s black suit was custom made, requiring six metres of fabric, Anatolia reported.

Born into a farming family in southeastern Turkey, Kosen won global fame in September 2009 when Guinness World Records declared him the tallest man in the world. He was then 2.47 meters tall.

His growth has resulted from a tumor affecting his pituitary gland.

Man Pleads Guilty To Hiring ‘KKK’ To Hang Neighbor

A 29-year-old military veteran in Alabama pleaded guilty to hiring what he believed was a Ku Klux Klan member to kill his neighbor and mutilate his body.

Allen Wayne Densen Morgan began his murder plot when he thought that his neighnor, Clifford Maurice Mosley, who had a previous record of sexual abuse, had raped his wife, according to FOX News. Investigators have not commented on how Morgan came to such conclusion.

“I want this man hung from a tree like he is an animal. I want his d— cut off and I want him cut,” Morgan told Cornelius Harris Jr., an undercover FBI Special Agent. Morgan was arrested on Aug. 25, 2013, when two undercover agents, posing as the KKK members, met him at a motel to finalize the deal. He will be sentenced in February of 2014.

High School Ask Students to Sign No Twerking Contract

A high school in Lacey is making students and their parents sign an agreement stating students will not twerk, lap dance, or otherwise “look like you’re having sex” on the dance floor during school-sanctioned events.

River Ridge High School officials sent home the RRHS Dance Contract earlier this month.

The contract outlines various examples of “inappropriate dancing,” as well as consequences that will incur following a student violation.

Punishments range from a warning to removal from a dance and ban on future dances.

Students’ parents are asked to sign the form, notifying them that the cost of the dance will not be refunded following a student’s dismissal.

Judge Who Ordered ‘Baby Messiah’ to Change Name is Facing Charges

A three-member investigative panel associated with the board filed a formal report against Child Support Magistrate Lu Ann Ballew in Cocke County on Wednesday.

In August, Ballew ordered the name of 8-month-old baby Messiah Deshawn Martin be changed. She stated in a ruling and a later interview with Knoxville TV station WBIR that the name “Messiah” was a title reserved only for Jesus Christ.

Another judge later overruled Ballew’s decision and said she had acted unconstitutionally. By then, the baby’s parents had filed a complaint against Ballew with the Board of Judicial Conduct.

The state board’s charges allege Ballew did not promote confidence in the judiciary or uphold the law without bias or partiality through her actions.

Ballew now has 30 days to answer the board’s charges, according to the documents filed in the case. Once she responds, the board will hold a hearing on the case within 60 days.

Another School Shooting – Teacher Killed, Others Injured

A student at Sparks Middle School shot and killed a teacher and wounded two other students Monday morning before fatally turning the gun on himself, police said.

Two unidentified males were wounded in the shooting and were taken to Renown Regional Medical Center in critical condition, a spokeswoman said. The Reno Gazette-Journal is trying to confirm the identity of the shooter and the teacher, who was reportedly a popular math teacher there, according to eyewitness accounts. Police said the teacher who was shot was trying to protect students.

Police said the shooting happened at 7:15 a.m. and students were evacuated to nearby Agnes Risley Elementary School and then to Sparks High School, where parents picked up their children.

At an 11 a.m. press conference, officials said of the two injured students, one was out of surgery and the other was doing well.

Eyewitness Kyle Nucum, 13, an eighth-grader at the middle school, said he was at the basketball court outside when the shooting happened.

“We heard a pop, like a loud pop, and everybody was screaming and the teacher came to investigate,” Nucum said Monday morning. “I thought it was a firecracker at first, but the student was pointing a gun at the teacher after the teacher told him to put it down, and the student fired a shot at the teacher and the teacher fell and everybody ran away.

“And we ran across the field to get somewhere safe and while we were running we heard about four or five more shots and we just got somewhere safe. This lady let us into her house.”

Authorities released few details about the shooting during a 9:15 a.m. press conference at Agnes Risley Elementary School.

Michelle Hernandez, a student at the middle school, said she saw the shooter Monday morning.

“I heard him saying, ‘Why you people making fun of me, why you laughing at me,’” Hernandez said.

Seth Hinchberger, an eighth-grader at Sparks Middle School, said the shooter “pulled out a weapon and just shot it. And scared all of us and we just started running.”

Principal Raped Boy in Office, While Boy’s Parent Waited Outside

A former middle school principal in North Carolina is accused of sexually assaulting a student while the boy’s unsuspecting parent was outside the room.

David Ellis Edwards, 49, was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree forcible sex offense, sexual acts with a student, taking indecent liberties with a minor and crimes against nature, WTVD reported.

Deputies say that between 2009 and 2011, Edwards molested at least three boys between the ages of 11 and 14. At least one of the incidents allegedly occurred in Edward’s office while the victim’s parent sat in a nearby waiting area.

Edwards resigned from his position at Douglas Byrd Middle School, where he had been principal since 2010, in August, WNCN reported. Before that, he was principal of Ramsey Street Alternative School. Officials believe that all of the sexual assaults took place on the campuses of these two schools.

Authorities have also noted they “believe there were more than the three victims,”sheriff’s spokeswoman Debbie Tanna told the Fayetteville Observer.

Let’s Fake A Deal

In the end, we got a terrible economic deal, but a nice political gift. Congress essentially kicked the problem down the road and ensured that early January would mark the beginning of other round of hostage-taking on the part of the right, more attacks on the health care law, and an intransigence on raising revenue in a fiscal deal that will raise hypocrisy to a new level, after they lambasted the president for not negotiating on the debt. Which he did. Anyway.

Even worse is listening to chastened Republicans talk about the importance of bipartisanship and how they hope that Democrats learn the lesson that they shouldn’t do this when they’re in the GOP’s position. Remember: Only the right can shut down the government and scare the world into thinking we’d default on our loans.

The good news is that this deal was worse for the Republicans than even I thought it would be. It was clear that this gambit was not going to help them, and Ted Cruz made it even better for the left because he was convinced that everyone outside of the major cities agreed that the ACA was from the devil and needed to be exorcised. The president stood his ground and public opinion shifted severely away from the GOP. It will take quite a bit of work on their part just to maintain their ranks in the Congress next year. They can kiss the Senate goodbye and might even lose the House, gerrymandered or not.

That this all occurred at the same time that the ACA rollout produced disastrous results makes the episode even sweeter, and is the political equivalent of rubbing salt in right wing eyes. If they had played it straight, they could have earned two years of political capital and would have had the Democrats on the run. But the right made sure that the computer problems will be mostly fixed by the time they’re ready to renew their attacks, and most people won’t pay attention anyway.

The only positive redemption I can see is if the GOP makes the debt and deficit an issue that only they can solve. The public is on their side on that argument, but that would also include cuts to Medicare and Social Security that will not go down well. The shutdown showed that Americans were upset because national parks were closed. Does the GOP think we’d also like to privatize entitlements? I think not.

Let’s hope that Barack Obama keeps his spine straight and forces the right to accept a deficit deal mostly on his terms and without significant consequences for the health care bill. He can also push the immigration bill while the right is down and hope that enough of them see fit to change their minds. Probably not, but it’s fun to dream.

In any case, enjoy the next six weeks. Then it all starts again.

Meltdown

I’ve used the tsunami wave metaphor in other posts about the decline of the Republican Party and  its associated havoc-wreaking on the country over the past two years.

Today we talk about the complete meltdown of the party. The debacle over the debt ceiling and the as-we-speak collapse of any kind of deal shows us the final truth about the right: This is not an entity that can be a partner in governing.

Here we are on the brink of a default that many conservatives believe will not be “that bad,” despite the warnings from banks, foreign governments and ratings agencies, most of whom could not remotely be labeled liberal, and they are still trying to knock off the Affordable Care Act. Yes, I understand how important it is to settle the issue of whether congressional aides can qualify for subsidies on the health insurance exchanges, but is is worth embarrassing the United States and inviting the wrath of the financial markets?

Clearly, it is. And that’s the problem with the GOP as is exists today. The extremism knows no bounds and the disdain of the president is ugly. They accuse Obama of not negotiating when that has been their strategy since he was elected. They want to stall, delay, overturn and defund anything he’s signed. They want no revenue increases in any fiscal bill. They want the Consumer Protection Board gone and they want the EPA to stop telling factories they can’t pollute. These are non-negotiable items, yet it’s Obama’s willingness to stand his ground that has them so incensed (I would be worse, though. Open the government and increase the debt ceiling for a whole year, says I).

It’s a sad state of affairs that only the party muckymucks can address. John Boehner doesn’t know which way to go, because all paths lead to The Tenth Circle of Hell (the one that Donald Trump bought and developed). He either has to continue giving in to the Tea Party or he has to sacrifice his speakership and get Democrats and moderates to get us out of this mess.

Some people who know more than I say that the American voters will probably forget all this by next November. I don’t think so. The next wave will be a Democratic takeover of the House.
