Missouri Republican Sexually and Physically Abused His Kids

The shocking revelations were made before the Missouri House Ethics Committee, revelations that included recollections from his daughter about an incident she suffered when she was 9 years old.

In 1990, Rick Roeber’s 9-year-old daughter was tucked in bed wearing a long Simpsons T-shirt when he allegedly picked her up, took her into the living room, laid her on his bare chest and placed her hand on his genitals, the now-adult woman told lawmakers earlier this year in testimony against Roeber, 65, now a Republican member of the Missouri House.

“I didn’t know what to do. I just froze there. I was 9,” she said in her testimony before the Missouri House Ethics Committee.

The incident was one of several disturbing stories recounted to the committee by Roeber’s ex-wife and three of his four children, who accused the freshman lawmaker of terrorizing them while on alcoholic benders and regularly whipping his children with a belt. His ex-wife also said that he once “drowned several puppies” in a pond.

Another NFL Player Indicted on Child Abuse Charges

When it rains, it pours, and it’s thunder and lightning, and tumultuous rain in the NFL right now.

A grand jury has indicted Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson with reckless or negligent injury to a child, and will not play in this Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.

The team tells WCCO that Peterson had been deactivated.

Police say Peterson told them he “whooped” his 4-year-old son with a switch earlier this year.

Photographs obtained by CBS Sports Radio 610 in Houston show a number of cuts on Peterson’s legs and thighs.

Police say the injuries took occurred in Texas in May when Peterson’s son was visiting.

When the boy returned to his mother in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, she took him to a doctor.

Police say the 4-year-old told the doctor Peterson had punished him for pushing his brother off a bike by hitting him with a switch

Police: Fla. Father Beats Accused Child Abuser

A Daytona Beach father beat an 18-year-old man unconscious after finding him sexually abusing his 11-year-old son early Friday morning, police said.

The father called 911 around 1 a.m. after he walked in on the alleged abuse, police said. When officers arrived, they found Raymond Frolander motionless on the living room floor. He had several knots on his face and was bleeding from the mouth.

“He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you,” the father told the 911 dispatcher. “I drug him out to the living room.”

The Daytona Beach News-Journal ( http://bit.ly/1tZV6o9 ) reports that the father — who was not identified by police — told investigators he walked in as Frolander was abusing the boy.

When asked by the 911 dispatcher if any weapons were involved, the father said “my foot and my fist.”

The father has not been charged with any crime.

“Dad was acting like a dad. I don’t see anything we should charge the dad with,” Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood said. “You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had sex with the victim multiple times.”

Frolander is charged with sexual battery on a child under 12. He is being held without bail. It was not immediately known whether he’d hired a lawyer.

According to the arrest affidavit, Frolander admitted the abuse.

“Dad was acting like a dad. I don’t see anything we should charge the dad with,” Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood said. “You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had sex with the victim multiple times.”

According to the boy, Frolander had been abusing him more than three years during alone time. The boy said he was afraid if he didn’t comply that he would get hurt.

Frolander allegedly admitted to the ongoing abuse saying, “I’m guilty,” WESH reported. Frolander allegedly told authorities he had been abused as a child.

Frolander is charged with sexual battery on a child under 12. He is being held without bail. It was not immediately known whether he’d hired a lawyer.

Raymond Frolander, 18, (pictured in his mugshot today) was beaten to a pulp by the father of the 11-year-old boy that he allegedly caught his sexually assaulting at a home in Dayton Beach, Florida

The father added: ‘He stood up and his pants were around his ankles and nothing else needed to be said. I did whatever I got a right to do except I didn’t kill him.’

The father had left his home around 1am to pick up some food and when he returned, heard a strange noise coming from the bedroom, police said.

He pushed open the door and allegedly found Frolander with his pants down performing a sex act on the child.

Frolander, 18, admitted to the abuse on the 11-year-old, according to his arrest affidavit. He is being held without bail on charges of sexual battery

The boy told investigators he had been playing video games with friends but when they left, Frolander took him to a back room and pulled down his pants. He also said Frolander had been abusing him for three years.

Daytona Beach police chief Michael Chitwood told MailOnline today that Frolander had a close family connection to the alleged victim.

The chief said the young boy was intimidated and told by Frolander that terrible things would happen if he revealed the abuse.

Chief Chitwood said: ‘He’s 11 years old, he should be running around outside and playing video games, not dealing with something like this.’

He earlier told the Daytona Beach News-Journal that the father was ‘just acting like a dad’.

The father was not charged in the suspect’s beating, police spokesman Jimmie Flynt said.

Frolander was taken to Halifax Heath Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.

The arrest affidavit said that Frolander admitted the abuse.

The teen was charged with sexual battery on a child under 12 and is being held without bail. It was not known whether he’s hired a lawyer.

Three Adults Arrested for Child Abuse – Posted Video of Abuse on Facebook

The child abuse shown in the 6 minutes video is totally wrong. But the ignorance displayed by the three adults by posting the video on Facebook was dumb beyond words.

The video of the child abuse has since been taken down from the Facebook page, but not before getting over 8600 views and getting the attention of law enforcement. The mother of the child, along with two other adults were arrested.

The video shows the child being hit with a belt over 50 times and smacked in the face. The mother is heard threatening to share the video on Facebook and saying she does not care if viewers call Child Protection Services about the incident.

According to Prosecutor David Leyton, “the law says that you can administer ‘reasonable’ physical force upon a child for disciplinary purposes. I think this was ‘unreasonable.’”

“The adults in this case clearly went beyond what is a reasonable level of ‘parental discipline,’” he continued. “What the video in this case reveals is a group of adults whose actions were a criminal assault against a child and that behavior cannot be condoned nor allowed under the law.”

The child’s mother Demitria Powell, as well as Stefon Felton and Uteas Taylor  are charged with third degree child abuse, conspiracy to commit child abuse in the third degree, and third degree child abuse committed in the presence of another child.

Dad left 4 Year Old in Care of Girlfriend, who Sources Say Fatally Beat Tot

On Wednesday, the last day of his tragic life, Myls asked King to go to McDonald’s. Instead, he was beaten and locked in a bathroom — a punishment that he’d endured before, along with many others that were just as evil, or perhaps even worse.

Paramedics rushed inside the apartment that day, responding to a 911 call placed by King, they found Myls unconscious, his small, battered body covered in cigarette burns, his torso and legs marred by bruises, police sources said. One of his front teeth had been knocked out. He died at a Manhattan hospital not long after his arrival.

Myls Dobson’s body showed signs of abuse and the sitter has admitted hitting him with a belt and a hanger, say police sources, adding that cigarette burns and defensive wounds were also found on his body.

In reality, Wade was thrown in jail in New Jersey after his arrest. He’s charged with second-degree counts of conspiracy and money laundering for his alleged role in withdrawing at Atlantic City casinos more than $275,000 from people’s bank accounts.

Instead of calling his immediate family to care for Myls, Wade called his new girlfriend, his family said. The family also did not know Wade was dating King, nor that she was a transgendered woman.

Ashlee Dobson, shown here with son Myls, lost custody of the 4-year-old, who was then placed with his father. When dad Okee Wade was tossed in jail in December, he asked new girlfriend Kryzie King to care for him. The boy died Wednesday, allegedly after enduring beatings from King.

Detectives from the Manhattan South Homicide Squad surround Kryzie King, real name Janaie Jones, who’s accused in the death of her boyfriend’s 4-year-old, Myls Dobson.

Dr. Phil’s Child Therapist Charged with Child Abuse

She has appeared on the Dr. Phil Show as an expert in her field. But now, Karen Corcoran Walsh has been arrested for doing what she was trained not to do – child abuse and neglect.

Karen Corcoran Walsh is alleged to have left her 11-year-old step daughter home alone after storming out of her Florida home following an argument with her husband.

When contacted on the phone she is alleged to have refused to return to the house to take care of the child telling a security guard to call the girl’s father.

Walsh, who runs the Inspiration for Youth and Families Center which helps teens addicted to drugs, was arrested on child abuse charges.

The 51-year-old later told local media she was the victim of wrongful arrest and her lawyer said he hoped the charge would be dropped.

According to a police report the incident began after Walsh and her husband Christopher had an argument at their home.

During the row Walsh broke her husband’s cell phone and told him to leave the house. After he left, Walsh also walked out leaving her step daughter alone in the gated community.

The arrest report said the girl was ‘scared, when she walked out of the bedroom to find herself home alone.

‘She had no cell phone, no house phone, no house key or no note left saying where her mother had left to. (The girl) explained she left the home unlocked and proceeded to walk down the road to the guard gate barefoot. The road was very dark and unsafe for a child to walk at night alone.’

The guard called Boca Raton Police who located Karen Walsh and placed her under arrest – charging her with ‘Neglect of a Child.’

Walsh later posted $3,000 bond
