Controversial YouTuber Kevin Samuels Dead at 56

According to reporting by The Hill, the controversial self-described “relationship guru”, Kevin Samuels, has died.

A close personal friend of Samuels, Melanie King, said she received “family confirmation” that the self-described “relationship guru” had died, The Source reported.  

Samuels was allegedly found unresponsive in his home, according to BLS. But his death has yet to be officially confirmed.  

Samuels was best known for the misogynistic comments towards women, particularly women of color, he made on his channel where he would give out relationship and lifestyle advice.  

In April, Samuels sparked social media outrage after calling unmarried women 35 years old and older “leftovers.” 

“If you have made it to 35 and you are unmarried, you are a leftover woman…you are what is left. Men know that there is likely something wrong with you whether you want to hear it or not,” said Samuels. “I am telling you the truth that you don’t want to hear. Men know that there is likely something wrong with you—that you can not be an adjustable six or higher—35 and unmarried. Something wrong with you. That’s where men automatically coming at it.”

Woman Wakes Up in Coffin at her Funeral

This could very well be in an episode of The Walking Dead, but this incident is not a television show. This really happened in Peru.

Funeral attendees recently got the shock of a lifetime when a person on the verge of being buried suddenly woke up.

Rosa Isabel Cespedes Callaca was reportedly being buried on April 26 when, in the midst of a funeral procession in Peru, mourners carrying her coffin heard a strange knocking sound from inside the coffin.

It was Callaca, who was actually alive and found to be gasping for air when the coffin was placed on the ground.

“(She) opened her eyes and was sweating,” Juan Segundo Cajo, the caretaker of the cemetery, described the scene. “I immediately went to my office and called the police.”

Metro U.K. reported that after Callaca observed everyone at her own funeral, her family rushed her to Referential Hospital Ferrenafe for care. Doctors had difficulty finding signs of life, immediately putting her on life support until she died a few hours later.

D.L Hughley Says Pete Davidson is Antagonizing Kanye

Comedian D.L Hugley wasn’t joking around in a recent interview with TMZ, telling the media outlet that a new tatoo on Pete Devidson’s neck, “KNSCP” is antagonizing to Kanye because the letters apparently represents the first letter in Kim’s name, along with the children she had with Kanye West – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

“It’s his body, it’s his woman, those are Kanye’s kids,” Hughley said. “That would piss me off. If you put my kids—and I got my kids tattooed on me—but if you did that…look, look, they’ll always be mine. I don’t know what happened with that situation, but they’ll always be my children. And now, to me, the father’s alive, he’s a good father, he’s taking care of his kids, I don’t understand what that is all about. It’s none of my business but if you tattooed my kids on your neck, I’d have something to say about it.”

Hughley elaborated that when you “do things like that, it’s trouble for you.”

“Nobody’s telling you [that] you can’t live your life,” he said. “That’s your woman, you’re having a good time. But you’re putting that man’s kids on your neck, that’s antagonizing. That’s out of pocket to me.”

Biden Hits Fox News at White House Correspondents Dinner

After two years of hiatus because of Covid 19, the White House Correspondents Dinner returned to Washington last night, and President Biden took aim at his favorite “news” outlet… Fox News!

The President talked about being fully vaccinated and boosted, saying that those who still are still wondering how to be fully vaccinated, should “contact their favorite Fox News reporter” because “they’re all here, vaccinated and boosted. All of them.”

Vice President Kamala Harris Tests Positive for Covid-19

CBS News is reporting that Vice President Kamala Harris tested positive for COVID-19, her office announced Tuesday.

Harris, 57, received positive rapid and PCR tests, but is exhibiting no symptoms, according to her press secretary Kirsten Allen. She will isolate and work from the vice president’s residence. Allen added that Harris is taking Pfizer’s Paxlovid antiviral pills, which can reduce the risk of becoming severely ill, at the direction of her physicians.

Harris has not been a close contact to either President Biden or first lady Dr. Jill Biden because of their recent travel schedules, the statement said, and will return to the White House once she tests negative. She has been vaccinated and received two booster shots.

Elon Musk Wants to Buy Twitter

Already a major shareholder in the company, Elon Musk wants to take it one step further.

In just ten days, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has gone from popular Twitter contributor to the company’s largest individual shareholder to a would-be owner of the social platform — a whirlwind of activity that could change the service dramatically given Musk’s self-identification as a free speech absolutist.

Twitter revealed in a securities filing Thursday that the sometimes whimsical billionaire has offered to buy the company outright for more than $43 billion, saying the social media platform “needs to be transformed as a private company” in order to build trust with its users.

“This is not a sort of way to make money,” Musk said during an onstage interview at the TED 2022 conference Thursday. “Having a public platform that is maximally trusted and broadly inclusive is extremely important to the future of civilization.”

Dave Chappelle threatens to pull his investments if low-income housing is built in his neighborhood

Said he’s not bluffing!

Residents of a small town in Ohio — including comedian Dave Chappelle — expressed concerns at a Monday night council meeting over plans to build an affordable housing development, local news outlet Dayton Daily News reported.

The Yellow Springs Village Council voted 2-2 — one member did not vote — against it, but the 53-acre development will still be built without the affordable housing component, which would have included duplexes, according to local newspaper Yellow Springs News. 

The council previously approved the development to include 143 single-family homes starting at $300,000 each. 

Chappelle, who currently lives in the area and frequented there as a child, threatened to remove all of his business investments from the area should the affordable housing development be built.

“I cannot believe you would make me audition for you,” Chappelle said as he took to the mic, referencing Oberer Homes, with which the council planned to build the development. “You look like clowns.”

“I am not bluffing,” Chappelle continued during the council meeting. “I will take it all off the table.”
