In case you haven’t figured it out yet, Donald Trump has not given up ownership of his Trump businesses since being sworn in as President of the United States. It does appear however, that Donald Trump is using the office of the presidency to blatantly bring more publicity and thus, more income, to his businesses and private organizations.
It’s now common knowledge that Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Clubhouse in Florida is the place to be on weekends. A place owned and regularly visited by the president with national and international cameras and reporters closely attached to his side, Trump’s Mar-a-Logo resort will only benefit financially thanks to his frequent visits of the president.
But why stop there? One of Trump’s other businesses include Trump International Hotel in D.C, and it is here Donald Trump and his motorcade visited on Saturday for the president’s first official dinner in Washington.
Trump’s motorcade arrived at the Trump International Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue, a recently renovated property located less than a mile from the White House, shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The White House has not said who Trump is dining with or what’s on the menu, but scenes posted on social media from inside the hotel showed his daughter, Ivanka, with him and Florida Gov. Rick Scott.
Others apparently in attendance included his son in law Jared Kusher, a White House official, as well as former U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, a campaign backer.
