Asking that her full name not be used, Valerie also known as Juror #4 did an interview on ABC’S Nightline on Wednesday, and she explained that she believed Michael Dunn is guilty of murder and could have de escalated the situation if he wanted to.
“I believed he was guilty. We all believed that there was another way out, another option. Roll your window up, ignore the taunting, put your car in reverse … move a parking spot over. That’s my feeling.”
Confessed serial killer Miranda Barbour is giving Satan a bad name — so says the high priest for the Church of Satan who says she’s just too wicked.
TMZ broke the story … Barbour confessed to committing between 22 and 100 murders … saying she was compelled to kill by the devil after joining a cult in Alaska.
High Priest Peter H. Gilmore tells TMZ … the official Church of Satan has never had any involvement with Barbour … and would NEVER accept her as a member.
Gilmore tells TMZ … true Satanists don’t believe in murder (not even sacrifices) … and if Barbour is truly a killer she should get the death penalty.
Gilmore says his church is not a cult but a legally recognized atheist organization … adding Barbour is simply using Satan as justification for her crimes.
A new study has found that around 60 more people have been murdered each year since the state of Missouri made it easier to buy a handguns without going through a background check.
In the study which will be published in an issue of the Journal of Urban Health, a team of researchers led by Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research Director Daniel Webster found that between 55 to 63 more people were murdered each year after Missouri repealed its permit-to-purchase (PTP) handgun law in 2007.
“This study provides compelling confirmation that weaknesses in firearm laws lead to deaths from gun violence,” Webster said in a press release. “There is strong evidence to support the idea that the repeal of Missouri’s handgun purchaser licensing law contributed to dozens of additional murders in Missouri each year since the law was changed.”
I had lost all hope for Wolf Blitzer. No, I had lost all hope for CNN. The network was quickly travelling down the same road as Fox News, catering to sensational “journalism” and leaving the American people factless.
Tonight however, Wolf Blitzer gained some of that respect back. Not because he stood up for a Democratic President, but because he stood up for what was right. Which means that Newt Gingrich stood up for what was wrong. Hey, he’s a Republican.
The controversy surrounds a statement Ted Nugent made, where he called the President of the United States a “subhuman mongrel.” In an interview with Guns.com, Nugent said;
“I have obviously failed to galvanize and prod, if not shame enough Americans to be ever vigilant not to let a Chicago communist-raised, communist-educated, communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel like the acorn community organizer gangster Barack Hussein Obama to weasel his way into the top office of authority in the United States of America.”
The name calling by itself is not a news maker considering that it came from Ted Nugent. What made this statement especially horrendous was when it was amplified by the poor judgement of an official trying to be the next governor of Texas. GOP gubernatorial nominee Greg Abbott invited Nugent to speak at a campaign event and that is where the ‘subhuman mongrel’ controversy erupted.
Wolf Blitzer, like much of the rest of the country – not counting Republicans and the Teaparty – thought a gubernatorial nominee regardless of party, should not be associating himself or a campaign event with the likes of Ted Nugent. Blitzer invited Gingrich on his show to talk about the Nugent/Abbott association and that is where the sparring took place.
Welcome to the continuation of the Republican clown show. Rand Paul is doing his part. He is a very funny Republican!
In an interview with Politico released Tuesday morning, Republican Sen. Rand Paul is about as forthright as he’s been about wanting to run for president in 2016. “The country’s a mess, and I think there needs to be a program that Republicans put forward, and also there needs to be a messenger who can actually win,” he told Politico, which caught up with him on a political swing through Texas earlier this month. “And I’m concerned that if we put forward the same sort of candidate again, that we won’t be successful.” The candidate Republicans need, Paul reasons, is Paul. He’s the only one who can appeal to minorities.
While Paul’s buddy in the Senate, Ted Cruz, has completely derailed immigration reform, Paul is willing to address it. Politico reports that to a crowd of self-described Cruz and Sarah Palin fans at the Harris County GOP dinner in Houston, Paul said explicitly,
Texas is going to be a Democrat state within 10 years if we don’t change. That means we evolve. It doesn’t mean we give up on what we believe in, but it means we have to be a welcoming party. What I’ll continue to say, and it’s not an exact policy prescription, … but if you want to work and you want a job and you want to be part of America, we’ll find a place for you.
Paul doesn’t support the bipartisan Gang of Eight immigration bill that’s currently stalled in Congress, but he does approve of reform that goes beyond border control. He’s taking cues straight from Republican National Committee chair Reince Priebus here. In the RNC’s “autopsy report” from the 2012 election, Priebus didn’t offer a specific policy prescription for immigration reform, but he made it clear that change needs to happen to appeal to Latino voters. Paul noted to Politico,
I think that our message … has great appeal if you are part of any kind of group that’s ever been mistreated in history. That could be African-Americans, Jewish-Americans, Japanese-Americans, all of which, at times in our history, haven’t been treated as they should be.
It’s interesting that this is the angle Paul is pushing, considering he had to fire one of his top aides last year for being less than racially sensitive. Paul’s aide Jack Hunter was a shock jock radio host who espoused neo-Confederate views on air into the mid 2000s. He once suggested that John Wilkes Booth’s “heart was in the right place” when he shot President Lincoln.
George Zimmerman has said he ‘absolutely’ believes that he is a victim of the fallout following his fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida.
In his second TV interview in a matter of days, Zimmerman also compared himself to ‘all our fallen soldiers’ as he claimed his trail for second-degree murder and manslaughter had been unjust and the result of political pressure.
‘I feel the people in power, like [Florida] Gov. Scott, cowered to political pressure and shredded the Constitution, and spit in the face of all our fallen soldiers, and went through with a malicious prosecution, simply for political pressure,’ said Zimmerman.
The interview, conducted with Fusion TV’s Derrick Ashong, will air in its entirety on Tuesday evening and in it Zimmerman protests that he has never been racist and that he is living ‘the most Christlike that I can.’
He also told Ashong that he had nothing to say to Trayvon Martin’s parents ‘because of the ongoing civil rights violation investigation by the Department of Justice, I wouldn’t say anything to them.’
As well as denying being a racist, Zimmerman claimed he didn’t understand why people are so animated about the racial component of his case.
When asked if the races involved in his case had been reversed, he said he believed that the outcome of the trail would have been identical.
Zimmerman also spoke about his attempts to sell paintings as a means of supporting himself and he was forced to deny that he was profiting off the tragic loss of another person’s life.
‘I try to move on with my life and just live the most Christlike that I can,’ he said. ‘I’m $2.5 million in debt, so I have to do something to earn a living and keep a roof over my head,’ he said.
Ashong also asked Zimmerman if he ever thought he might be able to have anything resembling a normal life.
‘I hate to sound jaded by what’s happened, but in all sincerity I plan for the worst and hope for the best,’ said Zimmerman. ‘Whatever it is, I hope that God loves me and uses me for whatever he has planned.’
On the same day that that interview is being televised, it has been reported that Zimmerman has been forced to flee Miami after being chased by a crowd and that there is a $10,000 bounty on his head.
Three men in Georgiaare facing a number of charges after a 36-year-old woman survived a brutal attack from the group that involved rape, burning and a shooting. The woman was found in a vacant lot on New Year’s Day (January 1) and has since undergone hours of treatment for her injuries.
Police in the town of Columbus, some 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, say that the men, Joey Betrail Garron, 28, Robert Carl Johnson, 23, and Ketorie Glover, 23, all hailing from the town, came to approach their victim in a bizarre fashion. According to the investigation, the victim was at a New Year’s Eve party where she was part of a rap battle with a group of men outside the home that got heated. The Ledger-Enquirer has more.
Subsequent investigation discovered that the victim, 36, had been to a party at a house located on Garden Drive. There, outside the house, she became engaged in a spirited rap contest with some men. At some point, the exchange became heated and one of the men produced a handgun and forced the victim inside of her vehicle.
Two other men, one of whom was also armed, joined them in the car. The woman was driven to a vacant lot located at 988 Farr Rd. At that location, police say, all three men sexually assaulted her.
The woman’s vehicle and the woman were doused with gasoline and set on fire. She was also shot several times.
Police Lt. John McMichael said in a news release Sunday (February 16) morning that the men face felony charges of aggravated assault, rape, kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, arson first degree, hijacking a motor vehicle and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
A police sergeant would not elaborate on how they came to identify and arrest the men, but did say there is more investigating to be done in the case. The cops didn’t confirm if the rap battle was connected to the assault of the victim.
Garron and Johnson have already appeared in Columbus Recorder’s Court and their cases were sent to the state’s Superior Court. Glover appeared in court yesterday (February 17) morning.

Fallen also showed the ‘evolution of mom dancing‘ with the First Lady, Michelle Obama. In his first show hosting The Tonight Show in New York, Fallon and Smith bust the move.
It’s amazing that the two men who committed murder and got away with it, now consider themselves “victims.”
George Zimmerman went on CNN over the weekend, lamenting that he is homeless and broke since murdering Trayvon Martin, calling himself a victim. And now this: newly released audio from Michael Dunn – the man who was not convicted of murdering Jordan Davis – reveals the chilling voice of the cold blooded killer telling his fiancée Rhonda Rouer that he too is a victim.
I was the one that was being preyed upon and I fought back. It’s not quite the same but it made me think of like the old TV shows and movies where like how the police used to think when a chick got raped going, “Oh, it’s her fault because of the way she dressed.” I’m like, “So it’s my fault (laughing) because I asked them to turn their music down. I got attacked and I fought back because I didn’t want to be a victim and now I’m in trouble. I refused to be a victim and now I’m incarcerated.”
“I’m the f*** victim here,” he said, laughing, during one of the phone calls. “I was the one who was victimized … I’m the victor, but I was the victim too.”
Dunn was convicted over the weekend of three counts if attempted murder for the three guys he missed when he fired 10 rounds into their car. Three of those rounds hit and killed Jordan Davis, but apparently that was okay, because the jury couldn’t decide if the dead body meant a wrong act was done.
In previous releases, Dunn wrote that more people should do what he did, claiming that if more people killed blacks and Latinos, these two minority groups would change their ways for the positive.
“This jail is full of blacks and they all act like thugs,” read one such letter. “This may sound a bit radical, but if more people would arm themselves and kill these f**king idiots when they’re threatening you, eventually they may take the hint and change their behavior.”
Court hearings to determine Dunn’s sentencing for the attempted murder convictions will he held in March.
What do you expect? When it is not affecting them, they’re against it. But when it is benefiting them, they’re all for it.
That is the awkward situation “Joe the Plumber” finds himself in, as he explains on his Facebook page that he, a proud union bashing Conservative, is now a member of the UAW Union.
“In order to work for Chrysler, you are required to join the Union, in this case UAW. There’s no choice – it’s a union shop – the employees voted to have it that way and in America that’s the way it is,” he wrote.
“I had three days of orientation, and now I’m “on the job” over here at Chrysler and on Day 4, I’m outside on a break smoking a cigarette and right on cue – some guy calls me a ‘teabagger,’” he said.
He said the man called himself a “journeyman,” and then quickly walked away.
“I asked him if he recognizes the training we receive in the military in the trades as legitimate, but he didn’t seem interested in a serious discussion and just rushed off…” Mr. Wurzelbacher said. Mr. Wurzelbacher has said that he learned plumbing in the Air Force.
