I thought Jesus was inclusive and wanted everyone to come to him. After all, he did say to “preach the Gospel to every creature.” And exactly how would anyone become a Christian if they weren’t included and preached to at some point in their life?
No one was born a Christian, which means that being inclusive is the lifeline of the Christian faith.
Alabama State Judge Roy Moore has not figuref this inclusive message yet and is still thinking that the survival of Christianity is to preach only to the base. And he is taking his religious segregation view and applying it to the constitution, more specifically, the First Amendment.
It is Roy Moore’s belief that the First Amendment of the United States Constitution only protect Christians.
Earlier this year Roy Moore, the Chief Justice of Alabama’s Supreme Court, spoke at a luncheon in Mississippi for a Pro Life group and shared his thoughts on the First Amendment and who it protects.
“Everybody, to include the U.S. Supreme Court, has been deceived as to one little word in the First Amendment called ‘religion.’ They can’t define it.” Moore said. “They can’t define it the way Mason, Madison and even the United State Supreme Court defined it, ‘the duties we owe to the creator and the manner of discharging it.’ They don’t want to do that, because that acknowledges a creator God. Buddha didn’t create us. Mohammed didn’t create us. It’s the God of the Holy Scriptures.
“They didn’t bring a Koran over on the pilgrim ship, Mayflower. Let’s get real. Let’s go back and learn our history.”
Retired. U.S. Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson is not very fund of his party these days, and their insistence that there is something more to discover in yet another Benghazi investigation, is not winning them the colonel’s friendship award either.
The Colonel, who miraculously still considers himself a Republican, thinks a different investigation should be done – one focused on war criminals George Bush and Dick Cheney.
Speaking about the Republicans and their never ending Benghazi investigations, Wilkerson said;
“It’s very difficult to handle a crisis, and you take the talking points points from whomever you can get them who’s on the scene. In this case, as I understand it, the CIA provided most of the talking points.”
“You can’t ever get it right right up front, so, I don’t find that to be a great problem.”
After asserting that he remains a member of the Republican Party, Wilkerson said that he does find it concerning that the GOP focuses on Benghazi over more pressing issues.
“I find it an enormous problem that they go after something like this, Benghazi – tragedy that it was – and they don’t go after something that is a colossal tragedy like the war crimes of Richard Bruce Cheney,” he insisted.
“The fact that I was a member of that administration will haunt me to the grave,” he concluded.
Wilkerson is the former Chief of Staff for Colin Powell.
The Secretary of State John Kerry would not be available and will not be complying with the subpoena issued by Republicans. The Republicans are demanding that Kerry make himself available on the May 21st, but according to State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf, that is not going to happen.
Harf said that Kerry “has been made aware” of the subpoena, but still plans to be out of the country and in Mexico on the 21st. She said the State Department was “surprised” that Darrell Issa skipped over offering an invitation and went straight to issuing a subpoena. She very strongly intimated the subpoena was issued for partisan political purposes and suggested Republicans are hypocrites for decrying subpoenas when they were issued against Condoleezza Rice.
Columbus Short’s career on the hit television show ‘Scandal’ is well known. Unfortunately, so is his fall from grace as the troubles from his personal life bled into his acting career. It was recently revealed that he was fired from the show.
Last month, days after Columbus Short’s wife publicly alleged he threatened to kill her and then himself with a knife, the actor on the hit ABC series released a statement saying he was leaving Scandal.
“At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today,” said Short in an official statement released by his publicist.
This weekend during an interview with Chris Witherspoon for MSNBC’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner special, Scandal star Tony Goldwyn – who plays President Fitzgerald Grant on the show – weighed in on Short’s departure from the show.
“None of us ever know what our future is,” Goldwyn said. “We’re really sad to see Harrison go but Columbus is an incredibly gifted guy with a huge talent and he’s gonna have a huge career in whatever he does. I’ll miss him because he’s amazing.”
A Missouri judge ordered the state on Monday to set free a man who was convicted of robbery in 2000 but never sent to prison until a clerical mistake was discovered last year.
Cornealious ‘Mike’ Anderson was 23 when he was sentenced to 13 years in prison for his role in the robbery of a fast-food restaurant’s assistant manager. He told The Associated Press last month that he waited, and even asked about going to prison, but the order never came.
In the years since his conviction, Anderson started his own construction-related businesses, married and had children. He also coached youth football and volunteered at his church in Webster Groves, Missouri.
A free man: A judge ordered Cornealious Anderson (left) out of jail today. He was arrested last year when it was discovered he was never sent to prison for a robbery conviction in a clerical mistake. Pictured above with wife LaQonna and daughter Nevaeh, 3, after his release today
Family man: When summons never came to report for jail, Anderson went on to live a life dedicated to his family. Pictured above leaving court Monday morning

Nightmare over: Anderson, his grandmother (left), wife LaQonna (right) and daughter Nevaeh walk down the stairs and out of court today
Judge Terry Lynn Brown lauded Anderson’s ‘exemplary’ behavior during his 13 years of freedom before the arrest. “You’ve been a good father. You’ve been a good husband. You’ve been a good taxpaying citizen of the state of Missouri.
‘That leads me to believe that you are a good man and a changed man.’
As the judge announced his decision, about 10 of Anderson’s relatives broke out in sobs and cried. Anderson stared straight ahead but dabbed tears from his eyes. Afterward, he hugged his toddler daughter tight. The hearing lasted about 10 minutes.
The judge said rather than Anderson being granted parole, he would get credit for the 4,794 days between when he was convicted and when he was arrested last year.

Mistake: If he served his full sentence, Anderson would have been released last July. That’s when authorities realized the clerical error and brought him to prison
Anderson’s plight drew international headlines last month. An online petition on change.org includes more than 35,000 signatures urging the state to set him free. Even Attorney General Chris Koster seemed inclined to find a solution to resolve what he called a ‘difficult situation.’
Anderson, 37, had never been convicted of a serious crime before the robbery. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the holdup, then told to wait for orders that would specify when and where he was to report to prison.
But the orders never came. Anderson suspected that his case had been overlooked and asked his former attorney what to do.
‘Day by day, month by month, year by year, time passed, and they never picked me up,’ he said in the interview with AP.
Changed man: In his 13 years of freedom, Anderson got married, had children, started a construction business, coached his son’s youth football team and volunteered at his church
So Anderson went about his life, never trying to conceal his whereabouts or identity.
He married, divorced, married again. He raised three children of his own and a stepchild, owned and operated three construction businesses. He coached his son’s youth football team in Webster Groves, and he ran the video operation at his church.
In July, Anderson’s sentence was supposed to end. It was then that someone at the Missouri Department of Corrections realized he had never been put behind bars.
Eight U.S. marshals arrived one morning at his home in a middle-class neighborhood and took him away. He was in prison by noon that day, and has remained behind bars ever since.
The Missouri judge decided to free Anderson based on his life after his convicted. Pictured on the right his his wife LaQonna
Koster said last month that his goal was to suggest a way for the court to balance the seriousness of Anderson’s crime with the clerical error made by the justice system and Anderson’s conduct since the robbery.
‘All three factors deserve recognition in resolving this difficult situation,’ Koster said.
Anderson’s attorneys filed an appeal in February calling his imprisonment unfair and unjust. They had also asked Gov. Jay Nixon to commute the sentence or grant clemency.

Breaking news: Pat Robertson spoke the truth! Now, this doesn’t happen often but when it does I’m going to bring it to you.
In his recent 700 Club program, Robertson laments on the plight of the Republican party and acknowledges that radical right may be causing more harm than good.
NOTE: Pat Robertson is inarguably part of the radical right.
With a backdrop like what happen in Oklahoma last Tuesday with the botched execution, media outlets far and wide are making their feelings and opinions known about the death penalty. But I’m choosing to highlight the thoughts and ideas of a comedian.
Why? Because the ideas expressed I think, best represent where this country should go in regards to the death penalty.
The comedian is John Oliver. The show is Last Week Tonight.
Cinco de Mayo, which means the 5th of May in Spanish, is celebrated here in America, but many Americans are clueless to what it really means.
The origin goes back to Mexico, when on May 5th, 1862, the Mexican army was successful in defeating French of led by Napoleon III at The Battle of Puebla.
Mexico had troubles paying back war debts to European countries, and France had come to Mexico to collect that debt.
So when you raise that glass of Margarita or down your second bittle of Tequila, you now have an idea why you’re getting drunk.
The good olé boys over at Fox News. It’s where you get your news, right? Well this is your “news” from your ‘Fair and Balanced’ “news” network.
A recent segment on Fox took America’s attention away from the fact that 288,000 jobs were created in April, lowering the unemployment rate once again to 6.3%. Fox, the “news” people felt our attention would be much better served if it is focused on… Benghazi!
So in cahoots with the pretend “Patriots” in the Republican party, a massive diversion effort went into full swing. And now, once again, after tens of thousands of documents submitted, millions of dollars spent, and numerous investigations conducted, we are now, once again talking about… Benghazi!
America, I know you todd about thank god you’re ready, but here is your news.
In a recent segment, Fox managed to create a scenario where Hillary Clinton is assassinated to prove another false Benghazi point. Fox’s Wayne Rogers is credited with this bit of right wing nuttery;
Imagine the following. Imagine that Hillary Clinton runs for president, and gets assassinated in the process.
And somebody shows up, a congressman, and says, ‘Well, what difference does it make anyway?’ I mean, The New York Times would have that on the front page!
The segment was in reference to a testimony Hillary Clinton gave about Benghazi years ago, and a point she made that the focus now should be on how to prevent another Benghazi from happening, instead of wasting time trying to figure out if the attackers were terrorists or angry movie critics.
The Fox thought a Clinton assassination scenario would be a great way to prove their dumb point.
But then again, proving dumb points is what the Fox does best.
Earlier I told you about an expected vote by Wisconsin Republicans to secede from the United States. The vote was scheduled to happen over the weekend as state Republicans held their convention. Well the vote happened yesterday and guess what? It seems there are still some sensible Republicans in the old party, and they realized that seceding from the United States was not the best idea.
Apparently these Republicans did not want to be the “laughingstock” of the nation if the succeeded, and they managed to convince the rest of the Wisconsin Republicans to vote against seceding.
Delegates at the Republican Party of Wisconsin’s convention Saturday overwhelmingly rejected a resolution affirming the state’s right to secede from the United States in extreme circumstances.
Some delegates worried the party could become a national laughingstock if the resolution passed.
“The party spoke loudly today that secession is not something we support,” executive director Joe Fadness said after the vote.
The secession debate drew attention leading up to the convention, which featured speeches from the state’s Republican leaders, including Gov. Scott Walker, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and others.
Walker told the crowd gathered at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee not to be distracted by side issues.
NOTE TO REPUBLICANS – You guys are already the laughingstoock of the nation.
This photo of Principal Annie Schmutz Siefullah was found on her school computer
Crazy, yea I know. But according to reports, the sexy Queens principal was immediately removed from her position since an investigation showed that the Principal – 35-year old Annie Schmutz Siefullah of the 7th- to 12th-grade Robert Wagner Secondary School of Arts and Technology, in Long Island City – is having sex left and right… in the school!
“We are appalled by these disturbing allegations and acted swiftly to remove the principal while the matter is under investigation,” a Department of Education spokesman said. “This type of alleged behavior is completely unacceptable for any DOE employee.”
Principal Anni is accused of having sex with a security guard, an assistant principal and the parent of one of her students to name a few. And she would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn’t for the hurt parent she had sex with. He found out about his competition and decided to report Miss Anni!
The angry ex turned over three DOE laptops he obtained while living with Seifullah, including MacBooks containing photos of herself in racy lingerie and in various sex acts, including a threesome, he told The Post.
He also gave investigators a video and audio tape in which a woman he identified as Seifullah acknowledged engaging in oral sex with an NYPD school-safety agent in the school security office, and with a visiting assistant principal in a book-storage room during school hours.
“I don’t know what I was thinking. I don’t know why I thought it was OK,” she tells the furious dad in the taped conversation, after he accuses her of cheating on him.
“You gave him [expletive deleted] while my child was in the building,” he roars at one point.
The dad, a fortysomething entrepreneur, also gave excerpts from a letter he says Seifullah wrote, admitting she hooked up twice with an “old lover.”
“The second [time] was a visit to my school that led to a sexual encounter which included brief oral sex in a hidden location,” the letter states.
The dad, whose name is being withheld to protect his child’s privacy, said he came forward because Seifullah — the mom of a toddler son — “played me for a fool.”
“Ms. Seifullah clearly used her power and position as principal to . . . seek several sexual partners at her school,” he charged.
Having sex inside a school or placing sexual images on school equipment could lead to misconduct charges. The investigation continues.
Daniel Simmons – a prosecutor with the Delaware Attorney General’s Office – was arrested on Friday, charged with raping a 16-year-old boy according to New Castle County police.
Delaware authorities say they began investigating the prosecutor, 34-year-old Daniel Simmons, in March after learning of the alleged assault. Police say Simmons was arrested on Friday as soon as the investigation was concluded.
Simmons been placed on administrative leave by the Attorney General’s office.
New Castle County police say Simmons met the 16-year-old through a social media app called Grindr which connects gay and bisexual men, not through his work as a Deputy Attorney General.
Police say further details are being withheld to protect the victim’s identity, but they suspect there may be other victims and are urging anyone with information to contact them.
