LeBron Drama Part 2 – Is He Heading Back to Cleveland?

Here we go again! Haven’t we blindly skipped down this yellow bricked road with James before?

The NBA star seems content with toying with the heartstrings of his beloved fans. They’re once again waiting on pins and needles for James to break their hearts as he takes his time deciding where he will play next season. And while some fans will jump with joy when he finally decides, others will get their hearts broken… again!

On the first day that NBA free agents were allowed to sign with their new teams, James continued to play stall ball on Thursday and did not reveal what he’s going to do, although there was a growing sentiment among NBA players and executives that he is heading back to Cleveland.

According to a league source, several Miami Heat players have resigned themselves to seeing James bolt for the team he started with and have expressed those concerns to other players across the league.

“There are guys he’d be playing with in Miami who definitely feel like he’s not coming back,” the source said.

But James maintained his silence, while virtually no details had emerged from the hour-long meeting that he held in Las Vegas on Wednesday night with Heat president Pat Riley. Afterward, the four-time MVP left to discuss his plans with family, with one Cleveland TV station saying that a source close to James’ agent, Rich Paul, disclosed that an announcement would be made by 11 p.m. Thursday.

That obviously did not happen, and James reportedly flew back to Miami with Dwyane Wade Thursday night and is expected to head to Brazil Saturday for the World Cup final.

Meanwhile, the scene in and around James’ hometown of Akron bordered on surreal. Scores of fans lined the streets outside his home in Bath as a steady stream of cars drove by, with the vehicles’ occupants stopping to ask if he had made an announcement. A half-dozen police officers had to maintain security outside the empty house, while awaiting what was billed as a major announcement that never came at 3:30 — the Akron area code.

All the while, James was at his basketball camp in Las Vegas, where Wade dropped by to chat and watch pickup games.

Meanwhile, the Cavs announced that Kyrie Irving signed the five-year, $90 million extension he agreed to last week when free agency opened.

Irving’s long-term presence with the team is seen as one of the major reasons that James will pull up stakes in South Beach and return to the Cavs.

Additionally, the Cavs were said to be trying to work on a deal with Minnesota for All-Star forward Kevin Love, which would turn them into instant contenders to win the East if James returns. The price for Love would likely start with the No. 1 pick from this year’s draft, Andrew Wiggins, along with other young players, including swingman Dion Waiters.

Republican Hypocrisy – Boehner’s Lawsuit is To Help Implement All of Obamacare

So Republicans, especially House Speaker John Boehner, voted against healthcarw refirm, even voting over 50 times to end Obamacare. They call the law a travesty, saying that it would lead to ” armageddon ” if it went into effect.

Not only has armageddon not happened, the law is very popular even with Americans who still call themselves Republicans. So what do Congressional Republicans do? They plan to sue the president to make sure no part of the law is delayed, but fully implemented.

Can you say Hypocrites?

Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) lawsuit against President Obama will focus on the delay of the employer mandate in ObamaCare, according to a draft resolution authorizing the litigation released Thursday.

The lawsuit will challenge the administration’s decision to unilaterally delay a requirement that firms offer health insurance to their employees or pay a penalty, Boehner said in a statement.

“The president changed the healthcare law without a vote of Congress, effectively creating his own law by literally waiving the employer mandate and the penalties for failing to comply with it,” Boehner said. “That’s not the way our system of government was designed to work. No president should have the power to make laws on his or her own.”

Under the law, employers with more than 50 full-time workers offer health insurance or pay a penalty. But earlier this year, federal health officials announced that employers with between 50 and 99 workers have until January 2016 to comply with the requirement to offer health insurance or pay a fine.

That was on top of a previous delay in July 2013, which pushed back implementation of the penalty for all impacted companies until January 2015.

Boehner said the lawsuit was borne out of “an obligation to stand up for the Legislative Branch.”

“The current president believes he has the power to make his own laws — at times even boasting about it,” Boehner said. “He has said that if Congress won’t make the laws he wants, he’ll go ahead and make them himself, and in the case of the employer mandate in his health care law, that’s exactly what he did. If this president can get away with making his own laws, future presidents will have the ability to as well.”
The White House panned the lawsuit as a “political stunt” that will waste taxpayer dollars.

Teenagers Say Pictures and Videos of Them Being Raped were Posted Online

You’d have to be a very sick individual to first rape someone, and even sicker and to a greater extent, dumber than most, to post the pictures and videos of the victim online.

Two teenage girls say it’s one thing to be the alleged victims of a sexual assault, but another to have pictures and videos taken while you’re passed out and then plastered across social media.

“She didn’t know what happened to her until this piece of vermin began to put pictures and videos online showing this young woman being victimized and abused,” said community activist Quanell X.

He says on June 1 two girls came over to a home on Chessington Drive in southwest Houston to hang out with two of their friends. The victims say they started drinking, blacked out and when they woke up they realized they had been raped.

The victims say over the next several days they found naked pictures, videos posted across different social media platforms.

Local 2 is not identifying either of the victims.

“I feel it’s really sad, I’m hurt, just being here knowing that happened to me and for it to be all over the place, it really hurts,” said one of the victims.

“This one particular address, this one particular house has been a haven for teenage pornographic material and nobody in law enforcement has done a damn thing about it to address this issue,” Quanell X said.

Houston police say there have been no arrests so far in this case and the investigation is ongoing.

President Obama – The Real Problem with Immigration is Congress

Following his meeting with Texas Governor Rick Perry, President Obama  issued a statement saying that there are no real differences between what he an Perry wants in regards to the border security and immigration issues in South Texas. The President stated that the real stumbling block is getting Congress to act on getting things done.

“The problem here is not a major disagreement around the actions that could be helpful in dealing with the problem. The challenge is, is Congress willing to act to get this done,” the president told reporters. “The question is are we more interested in politics or are we more interested in solving the problem.”

The president urged Republicans to put politics aside and act on his request for $3.7 in emergency funding to cope with the influx of unaccompanied minors flooding across the border.

“Congress has the ability to work with all parties involved to directly help this solution,” Obama said. “This supplemental offers them the ability to work immediately to get this done.”

Severed Arm Discovered in Long Island Front Yard

“I think they just drop it in there. Very carefully drop it because it wasn’t like far from the fence. They didn’t even, didn’t even throw it. Just reach from the fence, put it in there.” Those are the words of Jose Diaz of Bay Shore Long Island, describing to WABC7 what he saw when the arm was discovered.

Diaz also said “that he and his family started smelling something in their front yard on Tuesday.” On Wednesday when the smell persisted, his brother-in-law Noel Rivera went to investigate. The initial thought according to Diaz, was that a dead animal was responsible for the smell, but that thought quickly changed when Noel Rivera saw fingernails.

The Nassau County police arrived—even bringing a cadaver dog to look for more remains—as did investigators from Suffolk County, who are looking into remains found in Bay Shore. That partially dismembered body was discovered near the Fire Island Ferries parking lot. Investigators are now trying to determine whether the remains belong to a missing Brooklyn woman, who had been having problems with a landlord.

Diaz continued; “To do something like this it was a premeditated act to cut up somebody like that and drop them here and there. I want justice is done.”

Sarah Palin Jumps On The “Impeach Obama” Bandwagon

“You don’t bring a lawsuit to a gunfight,” Sarah Palin said on Fox’s Hannity on Tuesday, questioning Boehner’s proposed lawsuit of the president. “And there’s no place for lawyers on the front lines. I think it’s time for a little less talk, a lot more action,” she said.

Palin then suggested that some Republicans in Congress want to impeach the president, so that should be the reason to start the impeachment proceedings.

“When we see even GOP lawmakers who are recognizing and proclaiming Obama’s violation of the constitution, and then ignoring that constitution and the power they have to impeach, it gets kind of frustrating for the American people.”

Echoing an op-ed she published this week on the Breitbart website, Palin said impeachment was the only device Congress could use to halt the actions of what she described as an “imperial President.”

“The one tool they have are articles of impeachment, let’s get going on that,” she said.

They’re ringing the impeachment bell, but no one, not Sarah Palin, not John Boehner, not any other congressional Republican are saying exactly what the president has done that warrants impeachment.

Warrent Issued To Have Police Photograph Teenager’s Erect Penis

Now I’ve officially heard it all. The 17 year old, whose name is being withheld for obvious reasons, is being asked by the court to have police take a picture of his erect penis.

According to a warrant obtained by the Manassas City police and Prince William County prosecutors, the 17-year-old is to accompany police to the hospital where he is expected to expose himself in an aroused state, and have his erect penis photographed.

The teenager is facing child pornography chargers because of an alleged incident involving his 15 year old girlfriend who sent him text messages containing sexually explicit photos. He allegedly text her of a sex video.

One of the teen’s lawyers, Jessica Harbeson Foster, said she was told that the police would “just take him down to the hospital, give him a shot and then take the pictures that we need.” So far, a local judge has allowed the teen to avoid the warrant, the Post reported, letting him leave the area without complying.

“The prosecutor’s job is to seek justice,” Foster said. “What is just about this? How does this advance the interest of the Commonwealth? This is a 17-year-old who goes to school every day, plays football, has never been in trouble with the law before. Now he’s saddled with two felonies and the implication that he’s a sexual predator. I don’t mind trying the case. My goal is to stop the search warrant. I don’t want him to go through that. Taking him down to the hospital so he can get an erection in front of all those cops, that’s traumatizing.”

Law enforcement officials declined to comment to the Post. The next court date in the case is July 15.
