Women have always placed second to men when it comes to getting equal pay for equal work. And the President and Democrats in Congress have been pushing legislation and implementing laws, trying to make a difference.
Their simple concept is this. If a woman does the same work as a man, then they both should be paid the same.
Former Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land apparently disagrees. Land is a Republican running for the US Senate and says that equal work for equal pay is not a big deal to women. According to Land, “job flexibility” for women is more important.
Well we all like to be paid more and that’s great but the reality is that women have a different lifestyle. They have kids, they have to take them to get dentist appointments, doctors appointments all those kinds of things and they’re more interested in flexibility in a job than pay.”
We’re told that Land is a woman.
