33-year-old Kentucky K-9 police officer Jason Ellis of Bardstown, Kentucky ended his shift Saturday, May 25th but continued to serve and was killed in a suspected ambush. During Ellis’ funeral his canine partner, Figo, said goodbye by placing his paw on Ellis’ closed casket.
