Of course, they will disavow the actions of the fringe, but the fanatical refusal to behave decently and in the best interest of the country, rather than allowing that to fall to the wayside as they desperately protect their wealthy clients/donors status quo, and seek to gain and maintain power is at the root of this extremism.
