Obama brought a knife to a gun fight. Romney came to debate, the President came to teach a class on economics. Where is Harry Truman when we need him. He needs to coach Presdient Obama on how to deal the the Republicans and the Tea Party. They have to be flying high today after that performance last night.

the President was clearly pissed off. But still he managed to stay on his message and to me he did win on substance while Romneys performance was nearly fact-free. I also think Obama should have stopped Romney lying. But possibly he and the Dems really miscalculated and did not expect this version of a Romney who seemed to be an Obama-clon to be there. I think Obama just couldn't believe Romney’s 100%-turnaround from the past 18 months. It is clearly not easy to debate a jell-O! But I’m sure the President will do a better job in the next 2 debates. Also, it’s going to be interesting how Ryan adjusts to this new version of Romney while debating Biden!
