Romney’s Job Creation Record at Bain is Non-Existent

Mitt Romney is the first one to admit that he is not a politician, although he’s been running for political office for decades. He would rather the American public see him as a private citizen who spent his life running a business and have now decided to run for president. He would love if we forget the political nonsense he has said over the years and his dismal economic record as governor in Massachusetts.

With that in mind, the Obama administration decided to take a look at Romney’s business career – his record at Bain Capital. As the head of Bain, Romney’s decision to take over businesses, selling off their assets and shipping jobs overseas for cheaper labor is how Bain made its money.

Bain bought that steel plant in 1993. At the time it was slated for closure. The way I see it, Bain saved all those jobs for an additional 8 years.

There is much much more to the story that the Lib press isnt telling ie, Home depo,sport authority ,staples and the list goes on and on!

To make the 30% of Bain Capital's success/failure rate the highlight of your argument aganist Bain AND Mitt, is simply puerile. Only a person who had never TRIED to succeed has experience no failure.

Let's look at baseball as an example. The best season batting average EVER was.406 or 40.6% by Ted Williams, arguably the best overall batter EVER. Or basketball. Look at Michael Jordan's career percentasge from the floor which is 38.3%.

Mitt's average for companies that were acquired and successfully turned around is 70%. And then factor in that the companies they acquired were either brand new and not established and successful already, or, more frequently, outright failures on the verge of bankruptcy. In a vast majority of the instances where Bain acquired a company, the employees jobs were on ife support. To then blame him for their loss is simply not logical. He saved and/or created, in his tenure at Bain as many jobs as the sitting President has from 1600 Pennsylvania.

If the Democratic Party is going to make inroads on the apparent Romney lead at this point, creation of jobs is a "born again loser".
