Another fantastic article on the topic of education and the attack on teachers. A few years ago, I migrated to NYC to continue my teaching career. I taught in the NYC public school system for 3 months. Yes, a measly 3 months - and it was by far the worst teaching experience of my life. The worst part for me was the school administration and the politics, politics, and even more politics involved in running the public school system here. I watched so many teachers leave before me because there was no protection for teachers, which added to an already disorganized mess. I strongly believe that teachers need to band and rally together to oppose any unfair and frivolous regulations. The politics and tomfoolery is driving the good teachers out of the education game.
