Let's hope the move he's making to back off the tax hikes for the wealthy gives him leverage somewhere else for a checkmate. If he had stood on his principal and the middle class lost the payroll tax cut than he'd be accused of being a "politician' rather than a concerned leader of the working class. He is perpetually in a catch 22. I don't envy the man or his position.
