Brad Drake absorbed some home-spun wisdom from the friendly folk at the Waffle House near his home town of Eucheeanna (pop. 11). Drake suggests we give inmates a choice-either a "45-caliber lead cocktail" or a blast from old Sparky. If you don't choose in 30 days, it's the chair for you. My favorite part is his saying he'd rather just throw them off the Sunshine Skyway bridge "and be done with it". Brad, did you get spanked THAT much as a child?
I have a better suggestion; instead of hauling inmates to the Skyway, why not toss them off of "Bo's Bridge"? You remember Bo's Bridge, that famous monument to north Florida good-old-boyism? By throwing them off that bridge, Bo himself will be vindicated of having foisted a boondoggle on our states taxpayers.
"I knew this bridge would have a use for somethin' someday!" I can hear old Bo' proclaiming even now.
