Who Should Be Blamed For Dow Reaching Record High?

Remember when Republicans and Mitt Romney said that the only way the economy would recover was if Mitt Romney was elected in November? Well Romney wasn't elected and today, the stock market hit a new high - a new record. If Romney was in office, Republicans would be praising him now as the savior. Well, I'm not going to praise President Obama as savior, but I will give him and his policies much credit for helping lift the economy out of the dungeons Bush left it in. The benchmark Dow Jones...

Question: Who Wrote the Book of Face?

My wife has given me permission to gloat a bit after I said this about Facebook, and Wal-Mart, by-the-by, yesterday on this very same blog. The reason? Wall Street had a nice day today, but the 'book fell on its Face, dropping to $34.03, almost $4 from its opening last week. Meanwhile, a real company that makes real products that are really, really popular and, by-the-by, expensive relative to their competition, Apple, climbed 5.8% (%!) to $561.28. This spells short-term trouble for Facebook and other...

Huntsman – Romney Is In The Hip Pocket Of Wall Street

"Anyone who is in the hip pocket of Wall Street because of all the donations they are picking up, like Mr. Romney, is in these days not going to be the change agent who is going to fix the too-big-to-fail banking system." Per MSNBC,  Huntsman's comments were delivered to an audience of about 80 people. Huntsman went even further in his attack on Romney. Presumably referring in part to endorsements that Romney has received from Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) and Congressman Charlie Bass (R-N.H.),...

Police in Oakland and nationwide are calling these Occupiers "violent" and are trying to justify the unnecessary brutal measures they're using against American citizens exercising their...

Oakland Police Used Tear Gas On Occupiers

About 75 Occupiers were arrested earlier today as they were kicked out of Frank Ogawa Plaza in Oakland, California because, according to the police, the protesters were  causing "sanitary and public safety concerns." However, as word of the Oakland's Police action got around, over 1000 more Oakland occupiers gathered and began marching back to their camps at Frank Ogawa Plaza. Oakland police, intent on keeping the occupiers from returning to the Plaza, promised to arrest anyone who insisted on...

Bachmann Booed For Disagreeing With Occupy Wall Street

Maybe Michele should stick to her talking points, like "I am going to repeal obamacare," or "Obama's family are illegal aliens," or "I own a small business, I know how to create jobs." The Republican presidential hopeful went to San Francisco for a discussion with some supporters, but got booed when she veered off track. Bachmann spoke about a variety of issues, drawing applause from the audience when she suggested disbanding the Department of Education and vowed to repeal No Child Left Behind. But...

The Picture Mitt Romney Doesn’t Want You To See

This cannot be the image the Romney campaign wants the voters to see, so that's why we're showing it. LOL. Here we find the multi-million dollar Republican presidential candidate, from his time at Bain Capital. Romney is doing what Romney does best, no, not flip-flopping, but basking in the royal favor of his Wall Street buddies. And what could be better than having them stuff your pockets with cold hard cash! No wonder Wall Street is giddy with excitement over the idea of a Romney presidency
