Congress’ Wish for Obama – “Just bomb the place and tell us about it later”

So we may be heading for another war, have you heard? A war with the terrorist group called ISIS. And as such, and according to the United States Constitution, Congress should be the ones making the final decision for war. Congress should have a debate and vote on any military engagement with ISIS.

But Congress is filled to the brim with cowards. Spineless politicians whose only focus is securing their own longevity even at the expense of the American people. Let me rephrase that… especially at the expense of the American people.

So although the Constitution demands that Congress stand up and do their job, the job they were elected to do, chances are that the cowards would cower and bury their heads under a rock until the President makes his decision… again!

Take what Jack Kingston had to say for example. And his sentiments are so true when talking about these congressional cowards. Now Kingston said that he is willing to take a vote on military action against ISIS, but listen to the his words when describing the thinking of his fellow congress members.

“A lot of people would like to stay on the sideline and say, ‘Just bomb the place and tell us about it later. It’s an election year. A lot of Democrats don’t know how it would play in their party, and Republicans don’t want to change anything. We like the path we’re on now. We can denounce it if it goes bad, and praise it if it goes well and ask what took him so long.”

Again, longevity. These people are willing to put aside the Constitution in order to secure another couple of years in Congress. And it makes you wonder, if they don’t want to do their job, why are they trying so hard to keep that job?

Sometimes, politics stink!

I'm just tired of the lies and nonsense coming from the GOP, so this is my little contribution to combat the nonsense!
