You have to admire the Republicans for sticking to their man no matter what. No matter how many times their man have changed positions, flip-flop or just straight-up lied, Republicans – especially those who considers themselves “Christian Conservatives” – continue supporting the man. In this case, his name is Mitt Flip Romney.
A few short months ago when Romney was in a heated primary race with other Republican candidates trying to get their party’s nomination, Romney advised an audience at a Conservative gathering that he was “severely conservative,” a claim that took many Democrats, Republicans and Independents by surprise. But this new claim did not come as a surprise to those who have monitored the Romney Chameleon for years. They’ve known of his ability to flip-flop then flip-flop again on the same issue to gain political favors.
And his political affiliation is just another of the many issues Romney has changed. He’s gone from Progressive to Moderate to severely Conservative, and all these changes seem to happen when he’s running for office and need the votes of a particular group.
This election season is still young and Romney is losing heavily among blacks and women. We promise you, we will not be surprise if or when Romney say he is really a black women.
