If I had a penny for every time I heard someone making a stupid joke about President Obama, then apologize because “they didn’t think it would be an issue,” I’d be at least $5.68 richer.
Did you hear the one about Shery Lanford Smith? Mrs. Lanford or Smith is the Chairperson of the Sumter South Carolina Tea Party. Earlier this month, Mrs Lanford or Smith felt the urge, no, the need to post something on her Facebook page about President Obama and his family. She later pulled the posting after it became an “issue.”
Her posting? Well she posted a “joke” about throwing the President and his family out of a helicopter. In the so-called “joke,” the Obamas are on a helicopter suggesting that if they throw money out the window, they could make more people happy. The pilot then says, “ ”I could throw both of them out of the window and make 256 million people very happy!” Mrs Lanford or Smith added to the “joke,” saying, “ ”If you’re one of 256 million, PASS IT ON.”
Hahahaha…. Oh, that is so NOT funny!
When contacted by the media about the posting, guess what Mrs Lanford or Smith said? “I had no idea it would be an issue.”
With all the real issues facing this nation, and quite frankly the world’s economy, these people are consumed with firing personal attacks at the President and his family. A child wouldn’t be this careless. The teaparty is apparently overrun by immature imbeciles.
