Apparently all a Republican presidential candidate has to do to win crucial polling points is to–just show up. Pennsylvania’s Rick Santorum, being the the only potential GOP candidate at a dinner held by south Carolina’s republican party last Friday night, won 150 out of 408 votes cast by the attendees for a straw poll taken during the dinner. A no-show, Republican darling Mitt Romney, got whipped with just 61 votes.
Guess Romney’s invite must’ve ”…got lost in the mail”…
