@Darren: Maybe you're not expressing yourself correctly, but it seems like your saying that environmentalists do not believe in God therefore Christians believe they have no credibility in calling for measures that will preserve the planet that we all share. You also go on to say that believing God created everything is unChristian-like, but that you and other Christians like you believe that ALL the glory and credit for our world SHOULD be given to God. Like I said, maybe you just aren't explaining yourself correctly...or maybe your knowledge of Christianity and environmentalism is as sparse and as contradictory as it sounds here.

Good point. But I believe that if all environmentalists do not believe that "all is God," and they don't all do, then stop with the generalization. Stop associating the protection of the globe with what a small group may think.

The idea that we shouldn't protect the environment in Christianity is not true. You are correct in stating that Christians are to be stewards as the bible puts it. Yet there is one big monumental exception. Not all but some enviromentalists believe in pantheism or the belief that "all is God". Christians do not believe this we believe that the world and the universe was created by a person who is separate from and Lord over creation. Pantheism is Creation is the ruling force or God if you will. Also some environmentalists believe in humanism or the belief that man is the highest living being known to us. Both were stated in the video. ALso the said that Christians are to reject the world's version of environmentalism. Protecting the Earth is honorable and good as long as all credit and glory are given to God first in all things in the Christian view.
