And the portable toilets outside weren’t needed.
This is the report coming from The Anchorage Daily News in reference to the book signing for Sarah Palin’s new book, America by Heart. The article paints a vivid picture of the Costco visit by the so-called author.
- Over 1,000 people expected to attend the signing and to get the coveted half governor’s signature.
- Portable toilets lined the exterior for the event.
- Inside, a curtained off area shields the Republican anointed one from the unwanted, you know, those pesky reporters!
- A line of about 200 people by 9AM and the realization that the portable potty truck could start removing the latrines sooner than expected.
- Oh look, security is throwing out a woman wearing a t-shirt saying, “Worst Governor Ever,” and look, security is also throwing out a critical blogger of the half of a half-term “Worst Governor Ever!”
With her two books out, a daughter recently “performing” on Dancing With The Stars, and her Alaska reality television show, it will seem that the Alaskan people either forgot to turn out in the freezing single digit weather to be greeted by the potty parade, or Alaska, like the rest of America, has had it up to here with the Palins.
