Okay, former President Bill Clinton didn’t exactly say that Sharron Angle thinks a mammogram is a way to contact one’s mother, but he could have, and no one would have doubted him.
According to Mr. Bill Clinton, Sharron Angle is the wrong choice for Nevada, and voting for her because you’re mad would be “unbelievably negligent.” Mr. Clinton spoke at a rally for Democratic Senate Leader Harry Reid, who is in a tight race with the Republican Teaparty nominee, Sharron Angle.
In his speech to a crowd of around 1000 supporters at the Las Vegas Valley High School, Mr. Clinton reminded the voters of some of Sharron Angle’s extreme position on policies affecting their everyday lives.
Suggesting that Mrs. Angle don’t know the importance of a mammogram, and her quotes regarding autism, Mr. Clinton said;
“It would be unbelievably negligent to say, ‘I know you’re right but I’m just too mad. I’ve got to vote for this woman — this woman who doesn’t want women to have mammograms in their health insurance policies. Who thinks autism is sort of a flaky, made-up deal.’”
Calling a vote for Sharron Angle “negligent” is a huge understatement. Her position on just about all policies affecting her constituents are not just crazy, they’re borderline criminal.
Mrs. Angle believes Medicare, Social Security and the Education system should be abolished. She thinks Corporations are better when they police themselves without government regulations of any kind, and thinks that Health Care is a privilege acquired only by those fortunate enough to pay for it. In Sharron Angle’s world, 45,000 Americans will continue to die because of health care. Mrs. Angle will look at these deaths as a business opportunity for funeral homes.
Nevadans must realize the choice, and not base their vote solely on anger. To quote Bill Clinton;
“I am old enough to tell you, if you forget about politics, any time in your life you make an important decision when you’re mad, there’s an 80 percent chance you’re going to make a mistake. I don’t want people to abandon their anger. I want them to channel it so they can think clearly.”
Recent polls conducted by Public Policy Polling has Reid with 47 percent voter support and Angle trails behind him with 45 percent.
