What is America coming to? When did we lose our way and all connection to reality and common sense? We are the land of the free, the home of the brave. But are we slowly becoming a nation of fools too? Are we really willing to put a leadership title on the likes of Sharron Angle, Rand Paul and now Christina O’Donnell?

Christine O'Donnell of Delaware

We have already looked into the political thinking or lack thereof of Sharron Angle, and her desire to phase out Social Security, Medicare and the Education System. And let’s not forget Mrs. Angle’s position that Corporations and Wall Street should be not be regulated in any way, shape or form.

Rand Paul, who shares Mrs. Angle’s positions on Social Security, Medicare and Regulations on Corporations, takes the argument a few steps further when he stated his position that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 should not give people any rights against Corporations. Mr. Paul thinks Corporations should be allowed to discriminate against someone for whatever reason that company sees fit.

And now we were recently reintroduced to Christine O’Donnell, a regular politician who has been running for office in Delaware now for a few years. Christine O’Donnell’s latest admission was that she “dabbled in witchcraft.” She appeared on Bill Maher’s show Politically Incorrect back in the 1990’s, and spoke about one of her dates to a satanic altar at midnight, where she had dinner surrounded by blood.

Christine has also stated her opposition to gays, women in the military, and even something as personal as masturbation.

As far as her policies goes, Christine O’Donnell of course shares Rand Paul and Sharron Angle’s beliefs. According to her website, she believes companies are better when they’re not regulated and “free from endless taxes.”

Leadership in America is made up of three branches, the Executive Branch – occupied by the President, the Legislative Branch – responsible for making laws and the Judicial Branch – responsible for interpreting the laws. Rand Paul, Christina O’Donnell and Sharron Angle are applying for a leadership position in the Legislative Branch.

It’s time to wake up America, and realize that we can only go as far as our leaders capacities. We need people in Congress who are competent, proficient and able to put aside political strife and work hand in hand with those of an opposing ideology in order to move this country forward.

With the present crop of wanna-be leaders trying for this very important role, we cannot be brainwashed by the nonsense. We need leaders in Congress, not ideologues and witches.

We cannot move this country forward with Sharron Angle, Rand Paul and Christina O’Donnell at the wheel.
