Well it seems that the people of Ohio don’t like Orange and Boehner used in the same sentence. In a recent poll conducted by Public Policy Polling, Boehner’s own constituency claims that they think their represented senator spends too much time in the Orange salon. I mean the tanning salon.
But Boehner’s popularity, or lack thereof, is not just limited to use of tanning salons.
Around 44% of Ohio voters prefer someone else to be House Speaker, while only 28% say they don’t mind having orange juice doing Nancy Pelosi’s present job.
Time Spent Tanning
The poll was released on September 3rd in John Boehner’s home state of Ohio, and interviewed 475 participants. It found that 30% of voters found that Boehner spent too much time working on his tan, while 14% say that they approve of the time spent to achieve the orange glow. 4% says that he does not spend enough time, while 51% says they’re not sure.
What about the Tan?
It’s not only the time Boehner spends at tanning that’s causing some unease in Ohio, but also the tan itself . When asked if they approved of the unnatural orange glow, 8% said yes, they approved while 24% disapproved.
Other Results
Some of the other results from the poll showed that Ohio residents think the Republican Party is too conservative. When this question was asked, 43% said that the GOP was too conservative, while 21% thought it too liberal. 29% thought the GOP is just right and 7% had no idea.
On the direction of the Republican Party, 55% disapproved while only 29% approved. But while voters showed an obvious dislike of John Boehner and the Republicans, a slight majority is still deciding to vote for these GOPers in the November election, with a breakdown of 41% deciding to vote Democratic and 47% voting Republican. 12% are still undecided.
This just shows that the GOP propaganda machine is in full effect, and the dumbing down of Americans is a top priority. It is common knowledge that the leadership of the Republicans over the eight years of the Bush administration contributed to our economical situation, and yet, Republicans are actively working to get back in control.
Based on the poll, some Americans have bought into the lies. They have decided to willfully put aside the facts and hold on to the fiction of the Republican’s propaganda machine.
Then again, there are those of us who have decided to put Country before politics. We see one group stand on the side-lines and demand that the only way forward is to go back to how things were under Republican rule, and then we have another group who trying to get this country back on the correct path.
And we will choose the second option, for we are not easily fooled.

John Boehner, you can’t run from November 2nd. When it catches up to you, bye- bye Boehner. Time for you to get out of Washington. Ohio residents are probably ashamed of electing an out of touch representative like yourself.
