The insanity continues, but the word ‘continues’ implies that the insanity stopped at some point and that’s not the case, it never stopped. And with the election of the nation’s first black president since Gorge Washington took the oath of office in 1789, the insanity has increased tenfold.
Right Winged Nut Job Rush Limbaugh
It is absolutely unbelievable that race-baiting and fear-mongering has become the norm in America. Each morning, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and their right winged comrades wakes up with only one objective – trying to figure out new ways to incite their listeners into thinking that their government is against them.
The only goal of these right winged commentators is to instill fear into the hearts and minds of their listeners, and these winged nuts don’t care how they preach this fear. They’ve used hate and they’ve used lies and distorted records. But of recently, these conservative radio and television personality have resorted to racism, a sure way to divide this country even more. Keep in mind though, that these conservative wing-bats will be the first to tell you how patriotic they are.
The most recent episode of this racism that Americans have sadly come to accepted in everyday life, came from the death of a sport icon – George Steinbrenner. Before the news got out of the mouth of the reporters, Rush Limbaugh was already using Mr. Steinbrenner’s death as a means to get his racism out to his followers. He called George Steinbrenner a “cracker” and went on to say that a lot of blacks became millionaires because of him. The race-baiting Limbaugh failed to realize that these “blacks” had a talent, and would have showed this talent regardless of what team they played for.
These conservative personalities are also known for racially attacking Latinos, Blacks, Jews, Gays, Women and other minorities, but of lately their attention has been turned to the NAACP and the New Black Panthers. These two groups have become so relevant, that they have regular segments on Fox News. Fox however, is not being totally honest with their broadcast of the events surrounding these organizations, as a matter of fact, they’re not being honest at all.
In a story picked up by Fox Megyn Kelly regarding so-called voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers, the Fox Network has been criticizing the Obama administration for what they’re calling its failure to bring charges against the panthers for this intimidation. The Fix that Fox is not telling its audience is that this story happened in 2008 while the Bush administration was still in power, and it was Bush’s Department Of Justice that didn’t see any reason to prosecute. Fix News is also not telling its audience that the Obama administration successfully obtained a judgment against Samir Shabazz, a member of the New Black Panther, for carrying a nightstick outside a polling station in Philadelphia in 2008.
Again, the goal here is to create the impression to their listeners that President Obama is catering to blacks over whites. This goal was made obvious when Fix Network’s Megyn Kelly interviewed J. Christian Adams, the main character pushing this lie about Obama’s Department of Justice not prosecuting blacks. Prior to the interview, Mr. Adams wrote a post saying;
“If we had that frank, truthful discussion about race, we’d learn that the Obama administration doesn’t believe some civil rights laws protect every American. The Bush Civil Rights Division was willing to protect all Americans from racial discrimination; during the Obama years, the Holder years, only some Americans will be protected. Americans have a right to know and judge the racial policies of the administration they elected in 2008.”
Equally disturbing and equally racially dividing are comments from King Samir Shabazz, a member of the New Black Panthers who spoke about “killing white babys.” This unfortunate lunatic, like Rush Limbaugh, should not be given a microphone. These are situations where you wish the constitution did not protect free speech, and fools like Mr. Samir, Mr. Limbaugh and other’s like them pushing this racial fear on the American people, would be locked up for their idiotic statements.
America is a land of many nationalities, colors, religions and beliefs. It is this diversity that makes us unique. It is also this diversity that has been used for decades to divide us, pull us down and stop further progress. And it is this diversity that’s being used now to fan the flames of a racial revolution, putting whites against blacks, Latinos or Jews.
For whatever reason this is being done, the connivers are not looking out for the progression of this nation. They’re not looking out for their fellow American’s well-being and they’re not being patriotic.
It is a selfish greed that drives these nut-jobs. It is their divide and conquer strategy!
