He’s the President of These United States. He’s done everything from Community Organizing to having meetings with the Queen of England, the Pope and he even won a Nobel Peace Price.

He managed to pass Health Care Legislation into law, a task that was tried and failed by many other administration before him and he also managed to reform the loan program for students wishing to further their education.
When he walked into office on day one, this country was loosing over 750,000 jobs per month as a direct result of some of the policies from the previous administration.
President Obama, as his first major act as president managed to passed a Recovery Act, that has and is stimulating the economy, bringing us to the point where over the last few months, jobs were added to the economy, instead of the losses we’ve seen over the last 2 plus years.
He’s a master negotiator and put his skills to use when he secured an initial payment from BP in the amount of $20 Billion dollars. This money is not a cap, and will be used to help the victims of this Oil Spill.
Republicans on the other hand are upset by this achievement. If they had their way, these republicans would prefer for the victims of the Oil Spill to take their chances in court against BP and their lawyers. So instead of looking at the $20 Billion as a win for the American people, Republicans immediately try to turned it into a loss for BP. They called it a “shakedown,” and even went as far as apologizing to BP for the president’s negotiating skills.
These and many other accomplishment can be chalked up for the American people through the efforts of President Obama and although there’s more to do, singing was not what was expected.
