According to papers from the Brooklyn’s Courts, James O’Keefe did not go into ACORN dressed in a pimp outfit, as previously reported.
Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes said in a statement, that James O’Keefe and his accomplice manufactured and doctored some of the information, including the assertion that O’Keefe was dressed as a pimp when he entered ACORN’s office.
James O’Keefe was seen on tape dressed as a pimp going into ACORN’s office with his accomplice. After telling the worker that he planned on buying a house and using it as a brothel, the employee was heard giving the couple ideas on how to cheat the tax system. Fox news then broadcast this doctored information, without checking for accuracy.
Employees at the U.S. liberal group who were caught on video giving tax advice to the couple posing as a pimp and a prostitute have been cleared of criminal wrongdoing, New York prosecutors said on Monday.
